I like you for mentioning City there, and as for Groclin, carefull of them they are tricky, they knocked us out of Europe a few seasons back.

 

As for the Chelsea thing, that Avid Merrion guy or whatever he's called has taken over, but I wonder for how long for, myself I'm kinda bricking it or should I say expecting the usual to happen, after that whole thing when Ericcson was in charge of England and Peter Kenyon was tapping him up for the job, I'm hoping they don't want to try and tempt him with the job, knowing City's luck that'll happen.

I'm really not all that shocked bythis. It's been coming. The tension has been there for months. It's a bad move no doubt, especially a month into the season, but not entirely out of the blue.

 

I can't see Abramovich settling for an unknown manager for more than a few weeks. I'm more interested in who we bring in to replace him. It's going to take one hell of a lot to fix it, especially now the whole backroom's out with him.

Ironic that Mourinho leaves chelsea, in my FM 2007 game, I've taken over as Chelsea boss after Mourinho joined AC Milan.

He also said goodbye to the players, Drogba is said to have broke down in tears.

I think Mourinho will get the Portugal job sooner than later. Scolari just got a ban for his bust up with the Serbia player in the recent Euro 2008 qualifier and he is seemingly ready to move on him self to try new things. Good old over optimistic Spurs fans with predictions he could be their new manager should Jol get the sack.

Yeah, I am pretty pleased. I was just so pissed off because of the CL defeat. Even though Mancini could have used a better tactic from the beginning, you can't blame him. Our players in the other hand...Well let's just say that Rivas(His first match) and Julio Cesar(gets huge amounts of crap even when plays great) were the only ones that even looked like they had a pair of balls between their legs.

Italian football coverage has returned to terrestrial TV in the UK, it started a few weeks back on Channel 5 but it's always on a Sunday covering a live match and I'm always at work! This week the Roma v Juve game is on, just would love to catch it again. Loved the days of Football Italia on channel 4 so seeing 5 get this was a welcome return.
