Indeed. Man Utd. played crap. Both their defense and offense was all over the place. Sunderland just lost their ground in the final two minutes. Too many f*cking corners in the end.

 

And what the f*ck was Richardson thinking when he kicked that ball? He should have known better than that after being booked earlier and been more careful. I just knew at that time lady luck was beginning to smile on Man Utd... yet again!

He was completely out of place. If it was any other top placed team, the match would have been over within the first hour. Sunderland's attack lacked that bite to convert more of their chances.

If Van Der Sar isn't back for the Liverpool match, we are screwed. Foster is so shaky, but the blame isn't only on his shoulders. Why wasn't Giggs in the starting 11? Why wasn't he in the bench? Why Start Welbeck? Why Nani? Why not Carrick? All I'm saying is that SAF underestimated Sunderland and we were extremely lucky to get a point.

F*CK YEAH!!! The last 10-15 minutes were really nerve cracking when Liverpool were pushing forward and we seem to be messing up our possession. But we managed to hold on and Malouda's goal settled it once and for all.

 

Drogba was bloody brilliant; both assists were awesome. And I can't help but heap praise on Hilario; a solid, gutsy show by him inspite of being in Cech's shadow all the time.

I'll admit Chelsea were better than us today. We never really looked like scoring, and I still think our squad isn't strong enough. Insua and Lucas shouldn't even be starting, but granted we have Aurelio and Aquaman waiting to fill in for them once they're 100% fit and we'll be better - hopefully.

 

And we also need a strong striker signing. Hard to rely on Torres and only Torres. While other teams have Drogba / Anelka, Rooney / Berbatov. I think it's time to try a 442 again

The two times that I saw him fall in the second half looked pretty genuine to me. He played through the match and it looked as if he was losing some steam. Besides, he doesn't throw himself around as much as he used to in the past. Even when he genuinely falls, people are quick to point fingers and label it as an act. The stigma has kinda stuck with him but he's definitely not the same Drogba as before.

Expecting a win on Sunday; Romania aren't that good, and since we're playing at home all the support will held us get through, definitely. Was going to be on Setanta but since that's gone to sh*t, it's being shown online. I think it was £4 to view it if you paid before Saturday, and £10 on the day.

I have to say, I really admire your optimism. Sadly, I don't share it.

 

Ireland and Italy will have a boring draw tomorrow and I don't see Cyprus beating the Italians. We're going to get 2nd place and then be put up against someone like France or Portugal. I'll be very impressed if we get to the World Cup.

Anyway, Northern Ireland still have a (slim) chance of qualifying. We're level with Slovenia, but 5 goals off them on aggregate, so hopefully Lady Luck's on our side and we get the 3 points against Czech Republic while the Slovenes don't.
