I hope not, Ronaldo was sh*t for the first 3 years. Valencia's not intended to directly replace Ronaldo, there will be other signings made to do that. You're not going to be able to replace Ronaldo with one player.

About the Valencia signing, I think he's a decent player, though I would give him time to get used to the United system. I wouldn't expect him to wow people immediately. I would feel more at ease if United sign Benzema as well.

Actually Man Utd had put a £35 million bid on Benzema but it seems he rejected it and even though Real paid less, he accepted them instead!

 

Nice move. Now since Villa wont be coming to Real, let's hope if he gets convinced by Torres, he comes to Liverpool, just not BARCELONA, please no!

 

Aside from that, Alonso and Arbeloa might also complete Real's new unbeatable team and the project as a whole.

1. Madrid were targetting Valencia. Also took away Beckham, Ruud, Heinze and Ronaldo who were in Man utd.

2. Sure manchester united did not bid for benz, but what if we were about to? The disgrace bid for him, wanting every player man utd goes for. Typical.

3. About real madrid getting money off sponsors, TV bla bla bla bla bla bla. Why, when Calderon was in charge, he didn't make many BIG signings. Perez bought Beckham, Figo, Zidane, R Carlos, fat Ronaldo, Kaka, Ronaldo, Benzema and surely many more. Why wasn't Calderon able to do that? Cannavaro, Emerson and Ruud and Robben. These 4 players are nothing compared to the galactios.

4. Platini and Blatter have an important word in football, presidents of UEFA and FIFA respectively. If both of them weren't Real Madrid supporters, they would have made a transfer rule. A transfer rule that states a club has X amount of cash for each window. Or atleast something like that.

I don't think that was aimed at me cause I never said Real "ruined" football. All these gifted players together in one team could be a good thing. And the slight chance it may all go tits up is beautiful in itself. You just gotta say it's a bit sickening the amount of money being spent on FOOTBALL players. But then that's a gloabal thing I guess, it's just Madrid are taking it to new levels.
