I think everyone that hates United needs to admit we are too strong of a team to beat without luck etc.

I think next time you decide to 'think', you should refrain from going on a computer, for your own sake.

Liverpool were lucky when they stuck 4 past you?

Eveton buddy everton.

And if I remember correctly against liverpool, one of the 2 rock-like center backs, was injured and didn't play the match. Or was I dreaming? Was it only Vidic's red card?

But that still doesn't mean luck. You gave away a penalty, made a mistake, got a player sent off, and the other two were sublime finishes. I hate it when people do this.

Lol Moncai icon14.gif.

It was not like Everton had their strongest side out either. No Jo, no Yakubu, no Arteta....and even brought two youngsters on themselves.

I find it funny that everyone knows Liverpool's transfer fee's even though loads were undisclosed but as soon as an undisclosed United fee is discussed, then nobody knows and it's been hyped up by the media.

I am talking about the everton match now, not when our defence was sh*t after letting a goal in our net. We had 2 games which we didn't concede which is a great sign of defence strength. icon14.gif

Both Ferdinand and Vidic started the game against Liverpool.

Well it probably didn't help that you had a team of kids out on the pitch. And Berbatov. If you would have had your first team out I have a feeling that you would have caned Everton.

It is good luck for Liverpool that United make mistakes in that game because we rarely make mistakes. Its not so much bad luck for United, it just poor defending. The fact United happened to make those mistakes all in that game does not mean Liverpool are some kind of ultra-godlike team, it means they caught United on a very bad day, which they were fortunate to do. Hope this helps.

Yeah, they caught you on a bad day, you still have to be a pretty good team to put 4 past Man Utd. I know my team couldn't put 1 goal past you, even if you made all of the mistakes that you wanted to make.

Think Andy Gray said it on the day (can't believe I'm quoting that annoying bar steward) that even the best defender in the world (Vidic, in form, is head and shoulders above the rest) would struggle against Torres. As much as I hate him, that guy is a beast of a striker. United made so many defensive mistakes that day and did nothing to attack so deserved what they got. But that's in the past. Aslong as Neville/Giggsy/Rio is lifting that trophy every May, season in-season out, Liverpool can beat us 4-1 everytime we play.

Likewise, yesterday, Everton deserved the win and they deserve SOMETHING for the work they've put in over the last few seasons. I want them to stuff Chelsea. I'm also kinda not wanting Moyes to follow all this hype the press is making about him becoming the new United boss after Fergie steps down (same with O'Neill). I'd like to see a few more "dynasties" in the mould of Fergie and Wenger because that's how teams get stability and that's how competitions prosper.

I said it before, if Ferguson really wanted this trophy he would have played Rooney cause he would have raised his game against his childhood team at Wembley. But relatively speaking it was a weakened team; Fabio and Rafael are good but they aren't seasoned starters and both have had a tough time with injury this season; Macheda was unheard of a few weeks ago and Welbeck still lacks experience at the highest level to lead the line, hence why we failed to score in 120 minutes.

However, there's no excuses. We did have many internationals out there who failed to stick the ball in the net even once. I'm pissed off Fergie put such a low priority on the F.A Cup, especially against such a good team. We needed a talisman out there and as good as Tevez is, he aint no Rooney or (in form, in the mood) Ronaldo. To put a positive spin on it, I guess we don't have the pressure of going for the Grand Slam on our backs and we have one less game to play in the title run in. And I'm really, really f*cking ecstatic that Vidic and Rio are back to how they were because damnit them guys are the future of the club.

Edit: By the way, what did you guys make of Phil Gartside's plan two make a two-tier Premier League with Rangers and Celtic involved? Personally, I reckon Rangers and Celtic are gonna get f*cked over more times than they expect by teams such as Villa, Everton etc. And if they do go through with it, the Football League teams are reeeeally gunna suffer, which is a damn shame.

At 27 & 30 years of age, I wouldn't exactly call them the future of Manchester United. what is obvious is that they are both at an age where they are reaching, and have reached the pinnacle of their career. Honestly, if I were a United fan I wouldn't opt for any other partnership.

gta 4 gamer, why are you going on about a load of bollocks? You adamently stated that everyone should admit When United lose, it's down to luck and nothing but, right? The games they have lost this season have not been down to luck, I'd like you to justify how exactly they have been? It's fans like you that make supporters' distaste for the club even more-so.

Exactly like I said earlier on in the thread.

Anyway, Liverpool vs Arsenal tonight, might try and watch most of that.

For f*cks sake Liverpool you f*cking knobheads, doing my f*cking head in throwing away this game.

Mascherano mistake, Arebola mistake and an Aurelio mistake and Arsenal are gifted 3 goals. Then Arsenal have made 2 mistakes to give us two.

Our defence has turned to sh*t recently.

Edit: That was Julio Baptista all over again. 6 touches and 4 goals mad.gif. sh*te defending again.

Cracking game though.

Must be fun if you support a La Liga side considering most Spanish sides have decent attacks and poor defences tounge.gif.

How both teams allowed each other so much space in their own half is beyond me. Thought it was over when Arshavin banged that 4th in. At least coming back from behind 3 times is a positive but that title has been made so much harder to win now but still far from over.

Struff Bunstridge

Oh look, 4-4.

I never thought I'd get bored of my team repeatedly banging four goals past top-class opposition, but it gets dull when they CONSTANTLY FAIL TO WIN. I mean, for f*ck's sake.

Still, top of the league, I believe.

Cracking game, pity we couldn't get the three points.

Lets hope Portsmouth stop United in their tracks.

That Arshavin is brilliant though, bloody hell, four goals at Anfield, thats an accomplishment.

This is going to sound weird but...

To be fair he didn't do nothing other than score, he had 4 shots and 4 goals and two other touches and was non-existent in the first half. I know it's goals that really matter though, his last two were corkers.

The service to him was pretty non-existent really, I'm not sure how many Arsenal games you watch being a Liverpool fan, but he has been a breath of fresh air since he signed, instrumental in virtually all the games he has played in. Unfortunately he does need to be passed the ball in order to work his magic and our midfield was out fought this game and the balls to him dried up.

EDIT: Baptista was on loan at Arsenal when he got those 4 goals at Anfield, funny that. biggrin.gif

Oh no doubt he's an amazing player and those runs he goes on are quality, seen him many times and he'll be a big miss for you in the Champions League. He just wasn't in the game today but suppose he had the ability to get into those positions to score in the first place.

Oh and for someone not really to be in the game and score 4 goals, would love him at Liverpool.

f*cking hell. Unfortunately I think the title is out of sight now

Potentially out of sight. United still have to go play Arsenal as well and they're not back to their best just yet, all still to play for.

Just got in from work and did a MEGALOL.

Man Utd CANNOT mess up now. If we go out and do a professional job for the next few games we should be pretty much safe.

Spastic defending makes for outstandingly entertaining games. Arsenal policy of "Pass it to the nearest defender" doesn't work very well.

Yeah come on Crouchy, do a favour for the club that shunned you.

Please sarcasm.gif

Besides, I doubt even Crouchy will get to the lofted through balls first, now that Vidic is back in his game.

I hope I don't have to eat my words now tounge2.gif

Walcott must be gutted...second season in a row he thought his epic run and assist at Anfield had defeated Liverpool only for them to score again. Reina is f*cking lucky that Fabregas's legitimate goal was ruled out.
