If Serbia "let us win" like you said, then why would the players make a big scene when we scored our second goal, when your player was down, it was ok when you had the ball the injured player didn't matter as soon as England got the ball it was a whole different story, "foul play" like you say.

Apparently in Spain in the case of teams equal on points instead of doing the proper thing and go by goal difference they go by results against each other, so in Real Madrids case they drew and beat Barca in the course of the season so they finish above them!

Now don't take this the wrong way, but if you want to convince people about serbian fans being well behaved, using the Red Star fans as example is the wrong way to go. In terms of creating atmosphere you are among the best in the world but that's about it.

No need to be a dick the 2 best teams in the compation are Holland and England then portugal. I think that the dutch will win because of there skill and class they also deserve to win as they have been the best team all tourament.

Since when has this been about the performances on the pitch Andyserb? I couldn't give a sh*t if England lost. I haven't cared about our national team since 2004 (althougfh I would like to see the Women's team do well) and in the last World Cup I was supporting Australia....in fact I'm wearing my Australia shirt right now. Back a couple of weeks ago I kind of wanted England to lose because I thought it would be quite funny to see England in such a rut.

 

This whole argument that has brewed between us started with you not caring about the racism that was in the Serbia vs England game. Your blatant disregard for the treatment of our black players and the treatment that some Serbian players gave to our players was disgusting and you deserved a warning from a staff member. So don't try and use a football result (let alone a penalty shootout result which is always 50-50) against me as a way of trying to win an argument. Thierry Henry has been a fantastic player for us ever since his arrival in 1999. I am priveliged (sp?) to have a player of brilliance such as Henry to have played for my club and it pains me to see him receive flak because of his departure for Spain. His goals have helped us to 3 FA Cups, 2 Premierships and not to mention that unbelieveable unbeaten season 3 years ago. I will not hide the fact I am disappointed to see him go but I can understand his decision to go and I wish him luck in Spain.

 

Of course we must now look to the future and I hope Wenger already has some possible transfers in the pipeline ready to become the next Henry.

 

 

Edit: Also the Captain's Armband better go to Gilberto. It should have been him when Viera left, strikers should never have the armband.

Nugent is a proven goalscroer, Cisse had a couple of good seasons with Liverpool, then went to pot, as soon as he went back to France he became rejuvinated.

 

As for Henry, 16 million is a bargain price for him. He's worth at least 30. Barca are going to make a killing on him.

Nugent is good but fact is he isnt proven at the highest level, he may have scored on his international debut but that was almost a fluke! I do agree though that Cisse is crap, yes he has had bad injuries at Liverpool but when fit he never did much of note and his time on loan at Marseille was also average.

 

Henry was worth £30mill 3 seasons ago, now I would say £15-£20mill is fair enough. No doubt he will have a huge impact at Barcelona I'm just gutted for our league that he is going because for the neutral he was a joy to watch.

Cisse was the top goal scorer in France for about 2 seasons before joining Liverpool. He wasnt played everygame for Liverpool due to the fact Rafa never liked him, then he broke his leg? So hes had 1 bad season? Tell you what, that makes Michael owen the worst player in history, jesus.

I actually liked Cisse he usually score near enough every two games and make a few assists but Rafa never liked him and when he did play him he used him as a right winger. Don't no why he never played him, he always use to play Morrientes instead and he was sh*t.

Anyways Holland is much much better than Serbia+they are the hosts.We dont know to play against teams that play such offensive football,Brasil,Argentina,Portugal,Holland and maybe Spain.The first goal was a fluke by Tosic who could just waste the holland player and not let the goal but he was so f*cking scared to even touch the opposition.Afterwards Holland and Serbia both had chanses for 1-1 or 2-0 but it stayed 1-0 on the half.And then the key moments Serbia missed awesome chanses in first 15 minutes of second half and a fast counter attack and terrible mistakes by our ''scared ''defenders made it easy for 2-0.Then Kolarov got a red card and it was all over.Holland scored the third,and they got a definite penalty minutes later,which Serbia goally saved and gave some morale boost as well as two later subs.Then Zoran Tosic ''played''with the dutch defender to cross to unmarked Mrdja for a consolation goal little over 10 minutes till the end and the rest of game was pretty not interesting escept for hollands chance after which i just coudnt belive how Tosic didnt stop the dutch player who crossed and found Babel(i think) alone for an easy 4-1 win.The difference hurts,but it is the serbian mentality.The racist booing,then getting scareed when they are on the verge of sucess etc.....

Oh dear, oh dear. I never rated Henry as a captain, and because of injury and such he had a pretty dire last season, but the sucker-punch is more symbolic than anything. I'd also have looked for £20m minimum...

 

Henry will love playing in Spain though - even as he hits 30+ yrs he'll love the space in La Liga.

 

Captains armband would go to Toure if I were the gaffer. God knows who I'd look for as a replacement. I'd probably be looking at someone a bit more direct and powerful than Henry - Italy U21s Pazzini? I might've even looked for an Eto'o swap.

 

I like Wenger for building a team on Youth, but sometimes an experienced player is all you need to unlock everyones talents. Look at Bergkamp, he was still doing the business at the end. I think Larsson would be in his element at Arsenal.

 

Oh, and odds-on Wenger will go by the end of next season.

There arnt many players stronger than Henry you know he is build quite well. So henry is a very powerful striker and unless a player like Toni come,s to Arsenal Then they could finish and i think they will finish 5th

Toni wont be going to Arsenal as he and Ribery recently signed for Bayern Munich. Quite the coup for them so I'd expect them to do better in the German league and UEFA Cup next season.
