I don't know what the f*ck was up with berbatov in the penalties and in the normal game itself when he came on. The penalty is described as laziness, or called sh*t. I also don't get why Rio took a penalty and not Carlos Tevez, sure he didn't perform well, but a penalty is a penalty. Why did Ferguson field so many youngsters? Costed us the quadruple, whatever it's called. Oh well...Atleast we are still in the champions league. 30.75 million my ass! He is a great penalty taker at his Spurs days.

Both teams looked frankly not inspired enough. Berbatov's penalty summed up the whole game. Lacklustre. Jagielka's was a great pen though, as was Anderson's.

Well, 1 game less, more focus on the EPL and UCL. Less pressure on united, possibly less injuries, less embaressment against chelsea if we loose which will make United's confidence less. Some of the reasons I can think of from the top of my head.

Fantastic result for Everton. I had a hunch they were going to unsettle United. The game was pretty dogged, and I haven't seen one mention of fantastic defensive displays in here. Jagielka and Lescott gave a fantastic account of themselves, Ferdinand didn't play too bad and Vidic was absolutely outstanding.

BUT. Can Everton's senior team beat United's senior team? Possibly, not likely. Not likely, but possibly. I think everyone that hates United needs to admit we are too strong of a team to beat without luck etc. Speaking about luck, Welbeck's penalty appeal was not penalised which was utter sh*t. Oh well.

EDIT: Forgot to add this, if our defence becomes the strongest like it was in the begginning of the season, and scoring 1 goal a game, we will successfully retain our premier league crown.
