That was simply one of the best games I've ever seen in my life. I'm not gonna say it's up there with Istanbul, but my God what a game. Who'd have guessed 4-4, eh?

 

Fair play to Chelsea, they were too strong for us over two legs. Barcelona's gonna be a mouthwatering tie and no mistake.

What a great game that was, I think thought the referee was fairly good really. Seemed to let the game flow well and didn't mind the quick free kicks and no major decisions were made incorrectly.

I came to watch our game against you last season, when you won 2-1, and we got baton-charged by the police, I managed to smack a copper right on the nose! And then the police carried out their injured just before you lot got the penalty.

Erm, no. But whenever I have watched a Chelsea game, we have ended up on the losing side or at the most, drawing the match. I mean it's been going so bad for me that I can't even remember the last time I watched Chelsea win. So, just out of some stupid superstition, I decided to not watch the second half.

It's not funny though. With his strength he shouldn't be swan diving and falling down that easy and feigning injuries, biggest cheat in football. He's got the ability to do things but he just decides to go to ground.

 

Our defence was bloody awful in the second half (like the first leg) misplaced passes and leaving Chelsea players in free space ready to tuck away balls and the moment Pepe gave that goal away the tie turned.

 

Can't fault the boys never say die attitude though, just a shame about the defending which has ultimately cost us. Shame we couldn't win in this week of all weeks.

 

But now we just have to collect together and get the win against Arsenal and have one last push at the title charge

Lol, the commentator said something funny about that. While the camera was swapping between the Chelsea and Liverpool fans he said something along the lines of the Liverpool don't need to be given flags as they bring their own and a dig about the flag atmosphere.

Props for the Scouse for putting up such a good fight though in a match they could so easily rolled over and died in. I personally wanted them to go through so they'd be more fatigued in the Premiership

Not really, dude. Before the Bolton game, I think Chelsea had only conceded seven at the Bridge all season. Suddenly seven in two games, and you seem to be implying their defence doesn't stand up to United's? Don't forget Liverpool put four past you not so long ago, and without breaking too much of a sweat either. The Liverpool defence, on the other hand, leaves a lot to be desired, I don't think that's any big secret. Fortunately, we seem to be generally scoring more than we concede, and that's what wins games.

 

The next month is gonna be a nailbiter domestically.
