Yes cracking result for Chelsea but you count for anything that's done in pre-season, it will be best if Chelsea don't get over confident as you all know what over confidence can do.

 

Milan's team has been getting weaker since the 2005 Champions League final, the average age of their team for that match if i remember correctly was around 30ish. Then the majority of their best players are touching 35 anyway and to be honest other than Kaka and Pato they haven't really replenished the side with quality and it's shown in recent seasons.

 

Darren Bent has scored about 11 goals in 7 pre-season friendlies aswell, anyone think he'll carry that onto the Premiership.

 

Also not long after Liverpool saying the Barry deal could still be done he's left out of Villa's tour to somewhere, only a matter of time now .

First off, Ronaldo's agent is a tit, why laugh at getting linked with the best league in the world?, the agent should get laughed of the planet for that.

 

Secondly Ronaldo wont even cut it out in the Premiership, he's fat, has no pace and doesn't run, the Premiership defenders will eat him alive. If he comes to England he will be just like Sheva.

He's out of contract I believe, there were talks of him returning to Milan though, as he believes he's not going to retire yet (thus not come to Brazil).

He had more than 3 good seasons I say. I think he was good every season minus his time between injuries at Inter and his time at Milan. If he gets into shape, he's capable of being one of, if not the, best strikers in the world.

I think in his prime he was better than any striker of this generation. Noone is as deadly as he was, being top goalscorer wherever he played. I reckon he still has a good 3 years of footie if he manages a recover (and I'm sure he will) and goes back to his normal weight.

Oh my adamcs, shocking result tonight, out of Europe even before the SPL starts against a pretty much 'sh*te' team . There was no stopping Kaunas' first goal though, scorcher.

 

Liverpool cruised again with another 4 goals banged in with the same scorers as the Rangers game. Ngog looking pretty good and a bargain at 1.5 mil, hopefully he can keep it up for the Premiership.

 

Rooney and Gerrard are injured aswell, not sure how serious both injuries are though.

Yeah does look pretty slick, i wasn't keen on it at first but after seeing it in person i changed my mind, definitely going to pick it up, not sure who to get on the back though yet.

 

Still not picked up the home top yet, i'll have to order both at the same time, defo getting Torres on the back of that.

 

I'm leaving the Champions League away top for this season i've bought all 3 tops in recent seasons but not really liking the green colour, it will only be worn about 7 times and that's when we get to the final aswell. Plus can't be forking out 150 quid every other season .

Also was trying to get myself on the Liverpool season ticket list but apparently it's that long no one knows where the end is , meh the length of time i have to wait will give me enough funds to blow 800 quid+ on one.

I read in the paper a few weeks ago about GBR maybe having a football team in 2012, but I think it was the Scottish FA didn't want it as they thought FIFA might force all the countries to become GBR for all competitions.

 

I might give it a look, but probably forget, I never really watch the Olympics.

So many are against it as some are worried about the destruction of the independent associations. Although it has been said that if they're guaranteed to not lose them they still wouldn't fancy it, I don't understand that. I wouldn't want to see it in place of the current teams, but for one tournament I don't see an issue.
