Robinho would be fantastic for us. That way, Sir Alex can use a three man attack, use Carrick, Nani, Anderson, Giggs or Scholes in the midfield and keep our defence as it is. In my opinion, that's better than having Ronaldo there. Plus, Robinho isn't as much of a twat as Ronaldo.

I heard that our senior school side (under 18s) played the local A-League team (the Melbourne Victory) and managed to lose only 2-1 or something. It's only a rumour though, but Melbourne Victory are 2 and a half stars on FIFA 08.

@Waddy: You only found that out now! Fox Sports News told me that on Sunday. I think Berbatov would be a good asset for us, and would make up a lot if we happen to lost Cristiano Ronaldo. That way, Sir Alex can switch to 4-3-3, by putting Neville, Ferdinand, Vidic and Brown across the back, putting Nani, Carrick/Hargreaves and Anderson across the midfield, and putting Berbatov, Rooney and Tevez up front. I think that's a winning combination.

There's so much wrong with that. Nani's not a central midfielder for a start, and Scholes is better than any of the actual central midfielders you've listed. I also see a front 3 of Rooney, Berbatov and Tevez as lacking width. Rooney's not really a winger, and Tevez and Berbatov certainly aren't, I'd expect to see two of them upfront and 1 on the bench, with 2 of Park, Nani and Giggs on either wing.

Alonso will not be going to Juve , Juve have said they've finished their summer spending after signing Christian Poulsen. Barry is alright but i would rather keep Alonso and spend the money on a striker to unload a bit of pressure from Gerrard and Torres. We've got enough midfielders anyway.

AC Milan aren't in the Champions League either this season, so ner... we'll soon see apparently there is deadlines involved now as well, I think its before the UEFA cup starts so the player can be registered... Although it will be effing typical, he'll sign for City while I'm in Cyprus so I can't find a computer to gloat.
