Haha, hey im not doubting Nani's talent as a player, but people like Ronldo dont come around to often. I can see him being good, but not that good.

I never said he was 'a great', look i dont like him one bit (being a liverpool fan does that) but hes had 1 good season (06-07) and 1 amazing season (07-08) and hes only 23 dont forget. He aint been around all that much to be classed as a great yet. But there's no denying what he did last year as amazing.

Yey he didnt play great in the Euros but thats with the national side its completey different to playing with your club week in week out.

And Nani didnt really do all that much in the Euros either did he

Yep all true, I didn't mean to put words into your mouth; I was kinda thinking out loud. I just think that once Ronnie has gone Nani will be given a bit more of a chance.

 

I just watched a program I recorded weeks ago about Ronaldo and it shows quite a different angle on him to the general media insight; as a young kid and his attitude and view on football.. Lots of interviews with past coaches and stuff. In this film he comes across as an incredibly ambitious guy, obsessed with kicking a ball around, who wants to get to the top.... The film actually made be even start to like him; as he comes across as quite level headed, respectful and appreciative of his talent.

 

It was on the BBC I think so not sure if you can still get it off iPlayer... worth a watch...

Quite a few Dortmund fans have said that . He must be pretty sh*t if he can't get into a Switzerland side that have already been knocked out of the Euro's, a nice bench warmer then.

 

And yay for the Pre-season fixtures kicking off, Liverpool started with a 1-0 win against Tranmere.

Thing is that Riise oggy meant nothing as you (Chelsea) didn't go onto win the final, meaning it was all obsolete. No one remembers runners up.

United have come up short against lower teams in recent seasons and considering United are 'better' than Liverpool it makes it a bit more worse than Liverpool's defeats .

 

Looks like Ronaldinho is close to signing for AC Milan.

 

Also it looks like Robinho is staying at Real and won't be apart of a swap deal for Ronaldo. Ronaldo's has been saying for months now that he will decide his future in 3 days but every 3 days he says the same thing. It's all getting very old now and i hope it gets sorted out soon.
