I'd have thought it would be. It was held there last year after all, and the FA obviously want to use it as often as possible, given the long delay before it was finally finished.

Yeah because for ages the semi finals were staged at Old Trafford and Villa Park, the incentive of making the final and walking out at Wembley is lost for me. Talk about over use if they have the final there too.

Reaching Wembley should be the Ultimate goal. It wont feel special otherwise. If they need the Capacity for Semi Final Mathces they have Old Trafford, The Millenium Stadium, Villa Park and the Emirates, take your pick.

About using Wembley as a semi final location, I expected nothing less considering the cost of the place. It does dilute the whole meaning of the occasion, but Id love it if Cardiff got there, even if it is "only" a semi final. Then again im obviously influenced by the fact that we are highly unlikely to reach the final, and the thought of thousands of Cardiff fans in London, and at the new stadium.

Your right there mate. Not that I am using it as an excuse for us, but the state of the pitch definitely affected our play and we couldn’t play to the standard we are used to. Yes players are meant to be good enough to adapt to all surfaces and levels of match but Rovers pitch was bad.

Dam just read on BBC. Yes he is a good English coach but there's a fine line between that and a manager with many failing to step up and make a difference in the role change. We (fans) were told a new manager would be appointed at the end of the season, one of the main reasons being that with a potential takeover new owners would want their own man. I can't see this ending well, but I'm happy to be proven wrong.

To be honest i'm not highly confident Liverpool will win tonight but i've just found out Torres will return for tonight's match, that's sort of boosted my confidence a bit, atleast we might be able to score one goal .

I’m going for Inter, they are unbeaten in Serie A and add that to Liverpool’s average form I just cant see them winning. A draw would be a good result for them but it will be a tough match, great for the neutral too which is why I’m watching!

You disregard league cups because your team never wins it? Wow, that's a new one. Usually league cups are disregarded by Manchester United fans because it's a pussy cup, which is a load of sh*t.

 

Makes me laugh how ManU fans rip league cup winners after they get knocked out, saying that they don't try and win it, it's pretty pathetic.

 

Anyway to tonight, I expect Inter Milan to win Liverpool, formwise they're up there with the best in Europe, 11 points clear in serie A, just beat Juve in the Italian cup, and the players on on fire; Cambiasso, Ibrahimovic to name two. But, the tie's at Anfield and the champions league is where Rafa really shines, so I'm optimistic.
