I really don't see the big debate here! You're all so full of sh*t. The guy who died in the begining of Vice City CAN NOT BE VICE VANCE! The dude who died in Vice City had a strong accent, light skin, a mustace, walked with a hunchback and spoke bad english. There is no way that the man killed in the beinging of Vice City was Vic Vance. Pete Vance fits the description. DR Accent, never seen him beofre. If any of you beleive that was Vic, go get your eyes checked.

I'm sure that its not Vic Vance Cuz the one who did get shot at the start of VC was not looking like him. Thats my opinion.

I strongly believed that it's Pete who gets killed in that scene, but really if R* say it's Vic then we have to deal with it and get over it. If you read in the earlier pages around this topic you'll see how strongly I argued and defended Pete's death in that scene but if R* made it official in their site then I don't have much more to add...

 

I know, that guy doesn't look or sound like Vic in any way but even if he had another skin color and R* would say it's Vic I would still believe them since they are the game developers.

Except this time, there is a confirmed answer. Vice City was produced by a young crew, pressured by the success of GTAIII. Do you think they were planing Vice City Stories?

On the mission in VC, in the alley where you first meet lance Tommy say's what do you wan't. Lance replies his dead brothers white lady. Which could be a reference to cocaine or to Vics girlfriend in VCS but she's dead so something was f*cked up.
