Posted November 13, 2006 Share Posted November 13, 2006 i dont think people are over reacting, thats total nonsence, i think that people are pissed off to the max with R* because these glitches are preventing them from enjoying the game fully. im very disapointed with this game, i hope to god that we never see a game of this poor quality ever again. PS: This guy's only pissed about VCS because his PSP bricked while playing it. There's not even any proof it was VCS's fault. My Vehicles never save when being put in garages. The Pop Ups piss me off sometimes The AI Can be stupide at times. Double standards are the order of the day On one hand people claim that VCS ,being a portable rendition, should not be compared to the Big 3(3,VC,SA). On the other hand they claim it to be better than VC. You people may like the game, even I enjoy it, but the game as a GTA title is never going to be remembered in the "GTA Hall of Fame". I haven't read one post outlining what was good about it yet. The positives out way the negatives. And yes, there are some pretty annoying bugs, but you wanted better then LCS didn't you? Well you got it, and the small bugs caused by the game doing more then the PSP wasn't meant for is the outcome of this. Pranjal Posted November 13, 2006 Share Posted November 13, 2006 We will be able to know about the capability of VCS game engine only when Rockstar decides to port it to the consoles and the PC.Only when we play it on the consoles or PC we will know whether it can handle high resolutions and all those graphical enhancements which GTASA handled quite nicely. I can't count the number of times i was flying and a tree or a building suddenly appears 5 feet away. Pop ups even occured for me when i was in a car a couple of times. People are focusing on the few negative points in VCS and completely disregarding the amazing game that VCS is. It may not be groundbreaking but its a hell of a good game. PS. Its just there so we dont have to wait so long for the next GTA. You know how sometimes you're driving, and something like a plant, tree, part of a building just pops up out of no where? That's what it is. And the only problem I have noticed lately would be the ghost town effect that occurs to me at night, when the city is empty of vehicles except for an occasional taxi, and the glitch does not resolve until I save and reload. Anyway, my eye caught this thread lurking on the first page, even though the last outright post was made on November of 2006. Anyway, I'm quite annoyed with these "expert-wannabes" who says that VCS is a garbage product. Most guys who cry and gone crazy with this VCS bashing are quite... "empty-brained", IMO. Why? Do they have the rights to bash, criticize and whine about a game given to an unexperienced team of developers? Would you create your own rendition of VCS? Huh? Why would you guys say that San Andreas is better? Because you can eat, exercise, and the like in that game? Because loading times are not in existence? Crap, then go play San Andreas! Why would you bash this game which is quite unfair, as VCS is super smaller than SA. If you would comment on this game, then please, say it on a nice way. Besides, when did SA got better?
