How in the fu*cking hell are you suppost to pass this mission when

 

1. Lance swerving in your way and one hit he can knock you off your bike or damage your car a lot.

2. Glitch where there are two cars at the start.

3. Lance looses health quick.

I'd say that there really is no strategy to this mission. Just make sure that you have plenty of ammo for both an SMG, and a AK-47/M-16, because following and protecting Lance isn't the whole mission. There's a LOT more to it, so be prepared.

The second car, drive ahead of Lance and hug the bumper. That way they can'thit you. Shoot and then back off for the explosion.

 

 

There'll only be one more car, so try the same techinique.

 

For the end bit, use the minigun (or M4) and aim, shoot, aim, shoot.

 

At the very end, run AWAY from the flames.

with hugging the bumper, do you mean with a bike? so that you can shoot forward?

 

i like the strategy, but it wont really work with cars though. which are the only vehicles that i find around lances house.

heres how i passed it:

 

first, stock up on health and armor (standard for any badass mission) and get stocked with the following weapons: SMG/micro SMG, m4/ak47 and you MUST get a minigun. get a quad too, this is what i used for the chase.

 

MISSION SPOILERS START HERE

 

When lance is speeding around like an idiot, catch up on the quad and shoot directly ahead at the cars. there are three, so after youve taken the third you have some breathing time. therell be a cutscene of him entering the mansion, and youll have to take out a lot of goons out front. this is where you use your ak47/m4. work your way around the back of the mansion on the ground, the entrance is there. CUTSCENE, then armando will try to kill you with a flamethrower. quickly, run to an edge of the room, and minigun his ass. this takes less than 2 seconds to wipe him out. CUTSCENE. end of mission.

The bit where you're trying to stop Lance being killed on the bike is really just trial and error for the most part and it all comes down to luck in the end. Also, try and resist the urge to shoot Lance for being such an annoying ********!!

 

When you get to the part where you're meant to storm the masion, head over to the mall and buy some armour. If you know a place where there's armour laying about then just get that. Also, get a minigun as it makes the ending so much easier. Don't shoot the guys at the mansion because killing one causes another one to be spawned. First time I got to this part I wasted practically all my weapons doing this and didn't make it in. Instead get on a fast bike and try and drive round to the back of the mansion. Sometimes a car will block your path, so if this happens just ram it as fast as you can, you'll go flying over it and should land away from the guys shooting at you. Then run towards the door and before you walk in make sure you change your weapon to a minigun. Enter the mansion and as soon as the cutscene ends kill the guy with your minigun. Congratulations, you passed what I considered the game's hardest mission.

 

When I passed this mission first time round the sound for the final cutscene cut out. Considering the difficulty of it I couldn't be bothered to play it again and just read the brief. I can accept the radio cutting in and out periodicly, but that was just so annoying.

Two things that I would like to add: 1) you can go to nearest ammunation once you have arrived at the house (cutscene) 2) I just drive through their "roadblock" and run to the basement door (didn't lose much energy)

Yeah the first mistake I made was trying to shoot those guys at the mansion. There's no need, and they keep popping up anyway (no fair!). Just get a fresh car and drive through the gunfire around to the back and go in. I blew up the car blocking the entrance with a sniper rifle from a distance first.

 

Once in, I let the guy set me on fire while I laid into him with a machine gun. He was dead before I was. I ran over and grabbed the armor before I died and then saved by the cutscene.

I was extremely annoyed by the Mansion part, I shot a guy, got his gun, then started shooting at others, then another pops up right behind me and Ak-47's me into oblivion.

This mission is stupid, i was killing them at the mansion for over 30 mins, the guys don't stop popping up! in the end about 6 guys popped up with ak's and smg's i was dead in a matter of seconds.

I found this mission to be much harder than the last mission, because of Lance being an idiot.

The first time I got to the mansion I tried killing the guys then I realized they kept spawning and I died, second time I got there after about 6 times of Lance dieing, I got round to the back went in and got set on fire and all I had was the M4, and I got raped by the flamethrower and couldn't get away quick enough. Third time I went and baught the Minigun and just stood there and shot at Armando and in half a second he was dead

Then when I finally, easily made it to the top of the roof I was a little disapointed that Diego and Jerry were taken down so easily with the Minigun aswell, both were dead in under two seconds and It took me not even 1/10th of the length of Light My Pyre

before you do this mission make sure to buy the spas 12 you'll need it at the end when you go against the guy with the flamethrower the spas will kill him before he has a chance to yell "guards!"

whoa it wasnt that hard... i just got a car and did brivebys on the other dudes... lance only diesd twice and that was cuz i shot him and the last part is easy with a minigun.

Steal a car and catch up with Lance as quickly as possible. If possible, steal

a bike, even if it means killing a cop for his VCPD WinterGreen. Do a drive-by

on the enemy cars near Lance. It is best to use your car to veer them off

course all the while shooting non-stop. Lance's Biker Angel will push you out

of the way like you 'weighed' nothing, so avoid him. Be careful not to shoot

him, as well. Try to avoid angering the police any more than a 2-star wanted

level maximum. If you are in a car, chances are that enemy gunfire will destroy

it. Steal another car and do your best to catch up with Lance. Lance must make

the bridge to Prawn Island for you to pass this part of the mission.

 

Once in Prawn Island, get out of your vehicle at the base of the semi-circular

road. Walk up the road auto-aiming and killing whomever you

can see. Be sure to kill those wielding AK47's that spawn along the road to

your right as you face the house. (If you move quicky, only one will appear.)

Chuck Molotovs (or grenades) over the wall to kill those the game has stuck

trying to run through the wall. (They can still shoot you somehow.) Once in the

driveway, take a wide arc counter-clockwise around the inner wall. Keep tapping

R1 to target henchmen blocked by the foliage. New henchmen will continuously

spawn all around you, so get inside quickly.

I did this. Once you start off there should be a PCJ-600 near a palm tree on the right side of the road towards Lance. Grab and catch up with them and shoot the Mendez's men from behind. Your health will not go down if your shooting them directly behind them, their bullets will miss. Keep on doing this until your clear to the bridge. Then when the cutscene happens up out your minigun, blow up those cars, kill the men that are near you in front of the mansion. Hurry up and run as fast as you can go on the left side of the mansion house. There will be a door directly behind the mansion. Go in, then you face off Mendez (White dude) with a flamethrower and pull out your mini gun and hurry up and grab some pick ups of health or armour if needed and stay away as far as you can go and shoot Mendez like crazy and you should beat it.

I did this:

 

Run along the sidewalk to your right and there should be a PCJ. With this bike driveby from the side as from shooting forward it looked like the bullets went over the car. As soon as Lance goes into the mansion you have free time to do what you want. I went in on foot killing all guys with a minigun but i think it would be easier if I had a helicopter or a Bullet-proof Stretch (can any1 tell me if either help?) Before you go in switch to a shotgun (not the stubby shotgun) and shoot Armando (the boss) with it.

I did the same thing with PCJ, f*cked everyone who tried to f*ck Lance, then, on Prawn Island went to Ammu-Nation, got a bulletproof vest, then - to Hospital, got health, went to the roof, and got the heli.

Then I flew over to the backyard of the Mansion, f*cked everyone there up with my minigun, and ran through the back door.

After the cutscene I just selected the bastard and felled him with a few minigun rounds.

You don't even need to kill anybody hanging around the outside of the Mendez mansion.... with 150 armor/150 health and infinite sprint, I just ran inside

This mission isn't that difficult. First thing I did was steal a car (taxi) and caught up and un-loaded into their cars. If Lance is drawing their attention, they seem to not fire upon you.

 

The Mansion was pretty easy, I blew up the 2 cars in the driveway with the Rocket Launcher, then drove through them around to the back.

 

I used the M16/AR15 on Armando and barely survived.

Nice i gotta try that its kinda like Calm before the Storm in LCS. U gotta follow the helicopter but if u get where it has to go before it u get to the cutscene first. You cant buy a bullet proof stretch the best thing to do is get armor health and weapons. Take the Maverick on top of the Ocean Beach police station and fly into the backyard then kill the guy.

lol it wasnt hard i just failed it once and nailed it the other just grab the bike that is hiding in the bush near the tree catch up with vance and destory the 1st car , then speed up and pass lance and destroy the other 2 then go to the mansion

 

for me i had grenades so i threw all i had and then killed the rest and entered the mansion, to kill mendez all u need is minigun or a shotgun cuz a shotgun will throw him on the floor he wont be able to get up then blast him while hes knocked down - cutscene - misson passed
