Justin
"*install directory*\mp3\". Whack your MP3s (or shortcuts to MP3s) in there. Fire up GTAIII and scroll through the radio stations until you reach the custom MP3 player. PS: Search. Demarest
Don't forget that the game's own readme explains how to do this Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/260148-your-own-tracks-in-gta/#findComment-3925429 Share on other sites

Pranjal
The manual is at my house and I don't live there any more, collegeeeeeee. Dem is not talking about your manual but about the readme file which gets installed in the GTA3 installation directory. Demarest
Yep. Which means if you can play the game, the readme is right there. Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/260148-your-own-tracks-in-gta/#findComment-3926214 Share on other sites
radioman
The "readme" file is in your intall directory as Fuzzy Juzzy has stated, by default it is on your "C" drive unless you stated for it to go to another drive during the installation process. The GTA 3 and Vice City MP3 radio will only play songs that are in MP3 format and music downloads from i-tunes and wal-mart download stores will not work in the game.-just thought i'd point that out. How I got mine to work is: I clicked the "my documents" icon under the start menu and then clicked the search button at the top then clicked on search files and folders option in the search window, then I entered "Rockstar Games" as the search topic and selected the "C" drive for the folder to search and then pressed "enter" in about 2 seconds the Rockstar Games folder popped up in the results so I clicked that and the clicked on the gta 3 folder and clicked the folder named "MP3" the I clicked the "My Documents" folder again and selected the songs I wanted to add and right clicked on them and selected create shortcut option. when I got all the songs I wanted as shotcuts, I clicked on them and chose the "cut" option and went back to the mp3 folder and pasted it in there, after I got all songs I wanted in that folder i closed it out and started the game, the went to the audio option in the in game menu and strolled over until i got to the mp3 station which will show up after "wave 103" in vice city and i believe its after "chatterbox fm" in GTA3. I hope this helps and enjoy the game. Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/260148-your-own-tracks-in-gta/#findComment-3926993 Share on other sites
