those were balloons that he had found that i had not... heres a clean version of the balloon map with all 99 verified.

while your in your map hold x, this will bring up a few options change the first one to show balloons. those are the balloons you have. Great additions to the game, saved me a few grey hairs

I can't find the following balloons:

 

 

Looked so many times. Can anyone post a screen of the balloons I mentioned? Or at least explain their location? Thanks.

And by the way, when I got all the balloons (almost, i got 97) after the first mission ("Soldier"), I only see the rewards for 60 balloons. I see spawns of everything up to the Armor spawn. No Equalizer, Flamethrower, or Rocket Launcher. Has anyone else tried getting all (or more than 60) after the 1st mission with the use of CheatDevice (in order to get to Ocean, Washington Beach, and Vice Point)?

 

EDIT: Nevermind about the balloons. I found them. The one in Vice Point is at the top of the apartment building, underneath the extended roof. The Ocean Beach one is in the building under construction. I couldn't see it because it was too dark. You enter it from the north, and go to the most southeastern corner of the construction. Stay on ground level though. Look up at the low broken off ceiling, and it's there.

 

I still haven't got any spawns of Flamethrower, Equalizer, and M249

sorry i cant get a screenshot, but i found a balloon in the airport undersome stairs in the terminal building, and since its in the termial buliding i cant shoot it becasue they took my guns at the metal detector. anybody know how to get this one?

opps didnt see the screenshot above. but yeah, anyone know how to get it? nvm found out. u gotta use use a weapon cheat inside the building is the only way i could find.

No need to cheat to get that balloon.

 

Kill one of the security guards and they will drop a pistol. You’ll get roughly 6 bullets but you will only need 1 shot to hit the balloon in question.

Sorry mate but why would the weapon location map help in this instance?

 

When you enter the airport doors all your weapons are removed from your inventory and stored outside. There are no weapons inside the airport at spawn points either so as stated killing a security guard or cheating is the only options when it comes to getting the balloon inside.

The balloon can be sniped from the outside through the door too.

this really helped me cause i didn't unlock the second island yet and i already got 70 out of 99 balloons

what i do is i look on the balloon location map and i mark where i think the balloon is by pressing square in the pause menu and you just follow the little red marker.
