Don Garcia aka NjNakedSnake
^ Is Silk Spectre the actress who played Ben Stiller's crazy wife in The Heartbreak Kid?
Scarface187
Nite Owl looks kind of lame but the rest aren't bad at all. Especially The Comedian and Rorshach. Now I want to see Dr. Manhattan.
Moonshield
Any word on who's playing Hollis Mason? I could see Charleton Heston, though me might be too old.
TheDude5000
Ok DOTD '08 is now uploaded on youtube. Don't shoot the messenger here. If you know to search for, you can find it on there. I'm not gonna watch it till the weekend, but I saw a few bits and pieces. It's not an instantly horrid looking movie, it might even be somewhat watchable. The zombie make-up looks pretty good, and they run like in DOTD '04, f*ck they even jump.
JoeyLeone25
Watchmen is looking in at over 3hrs at the minute; "“The main picture is nearing three hours long and I know I have a fight on my hands just with that,” Snyder told the New York Times." Tales of the Black Freighter, is to be released on DVD after the film itself is released in the cinema! Back in February, Gerard Butler told Empire Magazine that he would be voicing the lead character in Black Freighter and that it will be animated in an anime style. I guess the original plan was to shoot the entire tie-in using a style similar to 300, employing green screens and computer generated locations. But the New York Times confirms that the budget was indeed too high (over $20 million), and that Warner Bros will be releasing a 100% animated Tale of the Black Freighter on DVD a mere five days after Watchmen hits theaters on March 6th 2008. Oh, and here's the 1940's Minutemen... Anomalous Material.com <--> AMF Multiplayer Topic Join Quidco and get Cashback for buying things online! Andyzoot
That's just ramped up my anticipation for this movie and also answered my question of whether The Black Freighter would be included in some way. Thanks for the info Joey.

Rhoda
What do you all think of Night Of The Living Dead? The original or the 1990 remake? Because I loved both of them, mostly because of Tom Savini's input.

Californian
I don't find Watchmen that interesting I like the effects they did, though. Just the whole characters, plot, etc. is what i don't like. I know nothing about Watchmen neither, maybe you guys do and that's why you like it so much. Was is a cartoon or something before?

Andyzoot
I'm glad we got to see Captain Manhattan finally and Rorschach's voice was just as I had imagined when reading the novel. Definitely my most anticipated film of 2009.
JoeyLeone25
Trailer! Now to watch... The whole trailer is beautifully mind-bending, especially the scene on Mars (was it Mars or the moon or something I can't remember) at the end. My only problem? How can anybody fit the whole Watchmen film into three hours? In my eyes, it'd take atleast two films to portray the story across properly. Goodfella.
To be honest hte trailer left me a little numb. I know it looks exactly like the comic, but like.. I can just pick up the comic and read that. Aslong as Rorschach is done justice I'll be fine. They better include the scene where he lurks in the fridge, and they better not puss out on his f*cked up life and the eventual mental breakdown, I want the red filter and all. I found this hillarious... When asked in an interview with ReelzChannel.com about original 'Watchmen' writer Alan Moore's dismissal of his movie, Snyder was quoted as saying "Worst case scenario - Alan puts the movie on his DVD player on a cold Sunday in London and watches and says, 'Yeah, that doesn't suck too bad.'" When this was brought up with Moore himself in a later interview in the British Tripwire comics fanzine, the writer commented "That's the worst case scenario? I think he's underestimated what the worst case scenario would be... that's never going to happen in my DVD player in 'London' [Moore very famously lives in Northampton]. I'm never going to watch this f*cking thing." Dan bows to Alan Moore's beard.
papanesta
Ha ha, I've read and heard a lot about this guy, and I'm not contesting his integrity as a writer or anything, but he's a f*cking dick.

GodfatherITB
It's too bad Alan Moore doesn't get (or want) any part in the making of the movies. But with that said; the trailer looks so f*cking good it's not even funny. I'm nearly going to sh*t myself in anticipation for this movie. I loved the graphic novel, and from what I saw from the trailer, it looks like they stayed very true to the book and did a great job.
Don Garcia aka NjNakedSnake
Watchmen gallery, lots of stills from the trailer. I like this pic the most, great visual. Also, great material for a sig/av. But, who will use it first? Who are these fellows, fellow? I know nothing about the Watchmen universe, so forgive. Groovy
Silk Spectre is giving me a definite Nite Owl in my pants. And they better have Dr. Manhattan's glowing junk. Had a big laugh when I noticed that in the comics.

Don Garcia aka NjNakedSnake
Went to see the Dark Knight in IMAX Jealous... I so desire to see it in IMAX, as I've never experienced an IMAX showing. And this sounds like the film to pop that cherry. As for this film, is it gonna be like Sin City, but with superheros? Sorry for the ignorance, just looking for a simplified take on it. Can't find part 6, but as a bonus heres the footage they showed at the panel. Too bad this guy doesn't know how use a camera. EDIT - If you haven't read the book, towards the end some things are kind of given away, so just watch out.
