Djwid63
^ Me too! Can't wait to see the deleted scenes and how it mixes up with the rest of the flick, hoping it will balance the story a bit more... Everyone I know hated this film with a passion, saying that it's dragging and all, and not how superhero movies should be... Yeah right, like Wolverine was their favorite superhero flick. I really get annoyed when the general public say have a stereotypical view of how superhero flicks should be portrayed, all action and sfx with just little character development just coz' their brains can't stand more than an hour of exposition to develop these characters (although I do respect their opinions, since I did check my brain out the door before watching RoTF, and I enjoyed it, ffs...). A friend of mine who liked the flick stated that "Watchmen is a film for comic book purists and geeks..." which I sadly had to agree to.

GodfatherITB
Some friends and I went to New York City for a screening of the director's cut (a little out of the way for something we could have just bought on DVD/Blu-ray, but we're too cool, so we drove up to the only theater that was listed as playing it). I liked the new footage, but I felt the original "LEAVE ME ALONE" scene worked a little better for some reason. Probably because it was very chaotic and then suddenly completely silent: for some reason I liked that better than the director's cut version where he teleports everyone out and then gets to Mars a scene or two later (can't remember how it went in the book, though). But overall I liked the new stuff.
spartant15
Bought the Blu Ray of the directors cut. There were some scenes I wished were in the theatrical cut.
Star-Lord
I watched this movie last night and i loved every minute of it. It was one of the darkest super hero movies I've ever seen. I was pissed off when they killed at the end well, you know who? I ain't going to spoil it for you
RARusk
I know this is a ten year old necro bump and this will probably need its own thread at some point but I felt this was the best place to put this teaser of HBO's upcoming Watchmen series that takes place after the events of the graphic novel: Tchuck 1 "One day I will think of this as just another job.
