thepcdude
Theresa a VC file named handling.cfg in the RockstarGames\data\ folder. It handles all the vehicles in the game. The things I edit most are max speed and turning. If you edit the file with wordpad or sumtin, its confusing and weird. But fortunately theres a program that can simplify it. It neatly stacks it in columns and labels what is what. It's a good program. I suggest and VC modder should get this CFG Studio And I would also like to say, if anyone wants money in Vice City but doesn't want to use a cheat (cuz for PC there is none for money!!), use my VC Money Maker hack. It's a simple program you can run during the game and click a button, and vwala, all 9s. Spuds725
The "config studio" is more of a modding tool and this should be "discussed" in the modding section... I do make exceptions if you are the mod author to introduce or display them here and in fact we have a pinned thread for it in the VC PC section... but modding discussion in general should be done in the modding section... GTA Modding You already posted about your PC money hack-- which I also think would be a good link in the above mentioned pinned thread... Justin
Actually, the CFG Studio is made by Cerbera... It's already got a dedicated topic in the most appropriate place of Vehicle Editing Discussion. I've added the money hack to the pinned topic Spuds mentioned. thepcdude
Thanks for the transfer fuzzy juzzy , and thanks for the critique "spuds"..... well, and cfg studio is made by cerbera, i didnt claim it as my own, but the money hack is And i noticed how cerbera already made the script in his program source that recognizes that one handling file and displays columns and labels what is what. He should do that on every config file if possible, and try to expand the file types that can be edited in his program, like other gta data files. If he takes this suggestion seriously, i cant dang wait for the second one! thepcdude
Man...I've been thinking...I wish I was a mod, or just a leader of cheats and tricks forum, or like mods and stuff. I love doin this stuff...and I'll keep doing em. I'm thinking of making a full trainer that works, and other stuff. Sigh*, but I've got like millions of posts to go if i wanna make it high right? Thats pretty dumb. I have a busy life. I cant sit here posting nonsense all day... I want to supply mods and hacks so that ppl will appreciate what the everyday comp geniuses can do for them, and their games. Also, does anyone know where i can find the gtaforums.com ranking list? if there is one? Like how many posts do you need to get that, or that, or to raise a level and stuff. Well, I will try to come out with more mods and hacks, and even refer other people's hacks here. Justin
but I've got like millions of posts to go if i wanna make it high right? No. Check the moderating team. Although most have thousands of posts, some moderators have relatively low post counts. That said, however, for you to be judged enough to even be considered for a position on the moderating team, you will need to have posted a fair bit so as to show your worth, etc. There is no 'ranking list' for GTAF, as post count means nothing here. The only thing it has a bearing on is your default member title, which is influenced solely by your total post count. But then again, you can simply edit your custom member title in your user CP. However, the member title list: Default Member Title Posts Player Hater 0 Crackhead 50 Square Civilian 75 Rat 100 Snitch 150 Punk-ass Bitch 200 Mark Chump 250 Trick 300 Peon 350 Prankster 400 Street Cat 450 Thug 500 Hustler 600 Playa 700 Mack Pimp 800 Homeboy 900 Homie 1000 Li'l G Loc 1200 Foot Soldier 1400 Soldier 1600 Gangsta 2000 Ghetto Star 3000 Big Homie 3500 Boss 5000 OG 7500 High Roller 10000 General 12000 Godfather 16000 King of San Andreas 25000 Spammer 30000 Spammaster 50000 Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/259698-hacking-vc-is-fun-and-easy/#findComment-3918865 Share on other sites
Spuds725
"With great power comes great responsibility" I agree totally with Fuzzy though, quality over quantity-- but you also must demonstrate a certain maturity and helpfulness and of course there must be an opening and/or a need for a ledby-- specific skills is another instance.... Edison Carter is a good example of this... he had the fewest posts and was only a member a few months when he became a ledby of a section-- Demarest was on the opposite end as he is quite the prolific poster however for the most part his quality of posts is high-- but became a ledby in short order as well.. I was more in the right place at the rigth time... I do have a certain passion for VC over other GTAs-- I was almost a mod at another GTA board but it was right before SA came out-- and I didn't want to read any SA threads as I prefer to play all the GTAs without help or guides (as much as possible) Edited October 28, 2006 by Spuds725 Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/259698-hacking-vc-is-fun-and-easy/#findComment-3919617 Share on other sites

Justin
Medals this year were awarded for achieving first place in a forum award. It's the first year such awards have been handed out. Karma stars are awarded when you receive a commendation from a moderator or administrator for hard work, contributing to the network, etc. For more information, search the Network Team forums and have a gander at the gtawiki.
