Brad
Dude, did you have to post such big pictures? How 'bout posting a link? My monitor is huge so they don't look big. I'm hoping for Renault to sort out their car for Alonso's sake. I am a Ferrari fan and a Alonso fan. If Alonso ever moved to Ferrari (which I doubt) it'll be great. I would of thought ING lost its sponsor with Renault because they did poor? I'm looking for a total new reskin. G. Fischella has moved to Force India Formula One Team. TheScorpion
Wow, I haven't actually seen the image of the Toyota on that angle, and I can see they've used more white this time. I think it's looking quite nice, and a better change from previous years. Just what I expected from Ferrari and McLaren too. Nice, although I saw all these launches on the day. Seddo
That McLaren and Ferrari car look spot on, very nice looking. But that Toyota just looks to plain in my opinion. But it's all about the inside of the cars ay', should be a very good season and hopefully this season is as good as last year and hopefully it goes to the wire again for entertainment purposes . Dup
The Toyota looks like all the Aero has been stolen of the Ferrari and McLaren. I hope Button gets a decent car this year and we get a Brit showdown. Im not a Hamilton fan, he's not as smooth as Button and he's got a bit of an attitude to him whereas Button is a true sportsman. Look back at a few of Buttons battles on Youtube, he was up there but the car just wasn't quite there. Hamilton on the other hand, comes off EXTREMELY arrogant. He's talented, but he really annoys me. Brad
Hill fears McLaren defeat in 2008 Jan.15 (GMM) Damon Hill fears that McLaren and Britain's Lewis Hamilton will be unable to challenge for the 2008 world championship. The 1996 title winner, who today is president of the British Racing Drivers' Club, said Ron Dennis' Mercedes-powered team is "being made to fight with one arm tied behind their back" in the after-effects of the espionage scandals of 2007. Woking based McLaren was fined $100m by the FIA last year for possessing secret Ferrari information, before self-imposing a moratorium on certain aspects of development of its newly launched car, the MP4-23. Hill, 47, said he believed McLaren had been "obliged" to agree to the development freezes, presumably in a bid to simply move on. But he also observed to Nuts magazine: "Even when they had everything going for them last year, they lost the championship -- I find it hard to see how this year's winner is going to be anything other than a Ferrari." Knowing the experience of narrowly failing to win F1 titles, however - as he did in 1994 when he lost in a controversial battle with Michael Schumacher - Hill thinks Hamilton will have no problem with motivation this season. "Getting so close, and losing, whetted my appetite and made winning all the more appealing," he told the Mail on Sunday. "I think Lewis will be similarly driven." Hill also thinks Ferrari has been unscathed by the 'Stepneygate' affair, despite the Italian team's widely reported anger about the airing of its secrets, and the ongoing court litigations in Britain and Italy. "Ferrari acted aggrieved but their budgets and their reputation have been unaffected," the Englishman said. "From a morale point of view, they have also made the transition from the Michael Schumacher era," he added. Lonely-Martin
Crikey this year's F1 is just so boring. Seeing Hamilton/Bottas that much faster than anything completely saps out any competition and it's bloody awful to see how lame it's becoming. The W11 is just so easy to drive, I'm not impressed by Bottas and Hamilton anymore. I hope something will change soon because like this, I don't know how many people are still going to watch this. Nico
Didn't know there was another F1 topic. I'm debating about stop watching it. We complained that there were only three major teams in the last few years, now it's just one. I like to watch qualy and race with my parents but honestly for me it's just so boring. They enjoy it for other reasons, my dad loves to mock the Williams and my mom mostly likes the gossiping of the F1 world, and see Hamilton's physiotherapist. But if Mercedes is still at the top of the game when the budget cap comes into effect, then goodbye F1. smokeless6
I have F1 TV and it's great, but doesn't seem to get on well with certain browsers. Try a different one. You don't need a fire stick, just a PC and a browser. There's an 'official F1' thread as a sticky above where you'll find some talk of recent races.
