a_fool_from_edinburgh
Hamilton takes poll in China.I hope he wins tomorrow, will be awesome. When he does win it, I cant wait for the Alonso interview, what a moaning spoon. haha moaning spoon, quite right. Tomorrows race looks set to be pretty interesting. I quite like the Chinese track. I wonder if they're gonna get rain again? Hamilton ftw! Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/259492-formula-1/page/3/#findComment-1057206089 Share on other sites

Stefan.
I wonder if they're gonna get rain again? Didn't you read my post? I have the weather forecast for Shanghai right there! By the way, I don't think it's gonna rain. Perhaps towards the end, but you never know. Seddo
So Raikkonen won the Chinese Gran Prix and is now only 7 points behind Hamilton who's lead is cut to 4 points after he didn't finish the race and Alonso finished the race in 2nd. It's a damn shame Hamilton never finished it would of been great to see him win it in China and then he could finally have a relaxing race for the first time. It's going to be one hell of a finale in Brazil, with people taking risks to get the points necessary. Davo the Assassin
You really gotta feel for Hamilton, went out on on the entrance of the pits on tires he was about to change. I really hope he can still manage it. I only got into this Championship two races or so ago, but I really want him to take it, I already don't like Alonso . Waddy
Was action packed, ill give the China GP that. Its been annoying me most of the season, the second half anyway, but anyone notice how arrogant Hamilton is getting, or has got over the season? At first he was happy to talk to everyone, and he was really down to earth, now he wont even take his helmet off. The support he is getting from England, like EVERYONES support, but make him want to talk to the press and his fans. He really pissed me off after the China GP, Yeah he was pissed off, but he acted like a mega superstar after! If he dosent change his ways, the press will go to war with him. /rant Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/259492-formula-1/page/3/#findComment-1057209425 Share on other sites
Seddo
To be honest if you were getting blamed for about 20 different things that's been happening lately would you be in the mood to do interviews and sh*t i'd be pretty peed off and end up keeping myself to myself. Th press were making him look bad and then the press then want to interview him, id be like LOL no. Can't wait to see Hamilton become champ in Brazil. Fter he crashed he didnt take his helemy on cos it wasn't just itv and the british media but the worlds media hammering questions at him. If you'd just lost on a chance to become world champ what would you do? He did take the time when it had quitened down abit later to speak with the lassie from itv and he only spoke to her. But having said that yes he is definatkey more arrogant than he was when he started, after all I'm pretty sure you can qoute him saying 'i'll do it in brazil' with a hell of a lot of self assurance. Was definatley a pretty enjoyable grandprix, roll on Brazil it really should be good! Seddo
Can't believe Hamilton lost the F1 title by 1 solitary f*cking point, all's he had to do was finish atleast in 5th place and he finishes in 7th. Ah well not bad for his first year in F1 and he really gave the experienced lads a bit of trouble on the circuits and hopefully with Hamilton having a years experience under his belt he'll improve a whole lot more next season and bring the Championship home. Stefan.
Don't fret over it. I think McLaren are appeling over BMW and Williams, and might be able to disqualify them. That way, Hamilton will be promoted 4th, giving him the Championship. Nonethless, quite a good year. I have the pleasure of knowing that I'll be attending next years Australian Grand Prix in March (the circuit is 17km from my house). In some ways, it's not over yet for Lewie. By the way, Alonso's back at Renault! Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/259492-formula-1/page/3/#findComment-1057225930 Share on other sites
Seddo
By the way, Alonso's back at Renault! Lmao i take it he didn't like partnering with Hamilton. Hamilton has said he doesn't want to win the tilte by an appeal but deep down i reckon he would to win it no mater how it comes. Although i can't see BMW Williams losing the appeal. AndyGanteks
Alonso was against Hamiltons appeal to BMW and Zauber so that just goes to show how much they hate each other. This year has been a miserable for Mclaren. All the points in the constructors table are deducted from them, then they lose the title in the last race. But oh well at least one of my prays is there - Kimi won and i'm glad for it. I cant wait for the next season and the battle between Lewis and Kimi. Stefan.
Don't forget Felipe. It's his second year at Ferrari, but I believe that good things will come to him if he uses them right. He'll have a good, hard go at Kimi next year, and will be bloody good to see how he copes. H4milton
Kiddo hamilton is a gud guy,he wanted 2 win da chmpshp but in vain. All he needed was just a little help from teammate Alonso. He did not want lewis 2 win da title (i think) cos he holds da record of da youngest champ in f1. I wonder who will be lewis's teammate next year..i heard rumours of button, barrichello on mclaren. The Phantom Menace
I wonder who will be lewis's teammate next year..i heard rumours of button, barrichello on mclaren. None of them. His new partner is Heikki Kovalainen from Finland. Not really a fan of Hamilton to be honest - I ain't too sure why, it's just something about him. Shame I know, I should be supporting the home talent but eh. Looking forward to next season, should be a good one. Wouldn't mind Raikonnen winning it again tbh with you. Exactly the same as me actually, i dont really like Hamilton at all. I didnt want to see him win the title on his debut season, but now that he hasnt done that i wouldnt mind being a fan of him. I, also want to see Raikonnon win again, that would be good. @Eashan Next year Lewis can still have the title of the youngest champ if he wins, but if he loses then he'll be 25 and thats too old to be the youngest champ, seeing as Alonso was 24. Also, can someone please tell me who won the Nurbergring race this year, and also provide a link that tells me who won the races this year, thank you very much. TheScorpion
Yes Raikkonen did get pole position, but then something happened with the car which forced him into retirement, whilst Massa took the lead. Rain came in the final laps of the race, and which helped Alonso catch up to Massa drastically and finally got the chance to take him for the lead. It took a few attempts, but he finally got him coming up to the Ford-Kurve (I think). Anyway, that handed Alonso the race win and him and Massa had a very humorous argument live on TV. Many things were hurled at eachother, some things were made up about what they said, considering they were speaking in other languages, but nevertheless it didn't make them the best of freinds. So that's how the race went. I'm glad Heikki's got a McLaren seat for next season and seeing as i'm a Hamilton fan I hope he can battle with him all the way to the end. 2008 should prove to be a good season Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/259492-formula-1/page/3/#findComment-1057356926 Share on other sites
Brad
I think this season is going to be great. Alonso back at Renault. Hamilton with another chance. Raikkonen to defend his title? Supposdly at the start of the year, Raikkonen didn't have terms with the car that costed a few wins here and there but after France he was on tip-top shape. New cars: Edited January 15, 2008 by Brad. Stefan.
Dude, did you have to post such big pictures? How 'bout posting a link? Anyway, I hope that BMW Sauber can prove more of a contender this year. Heidfeld has always been my favourite driver, and considering that BMW had a strong season, I wouldn't be surprised seeing either him or Robert on top of the podium. Mav.
The pics looks great Brad . Ferrari's car this year is a darker red than previous years. Just made it my desktop background. I've always been a big Renault fan and was shattered when Alonso left. Good to see him back. Thought they made a great combination. I reckon Ferrari are gonna struggle this season. Massa isn't good enough to win the title and will never be a superstar. Don't know why Ferrari bother with him. Not in the same class as Raikkonen, Alonso and Hamilton. Don't know why Ferrari bother with him. Not in the same class as Raikkonen, Alonso and Hamilton. No, I don't think so. Massa needs to get adjusted; he's the type of driver that needs time to develop at a team. Plus, Heikki Kovalainen is just starting at McLaren. He'll be needing a lot of time to settle into his seat. Hamilton will have to do it single handedly for Mercedes. As for Renault, I think that you are a chance this year. No offence, but last year you guys disappointed me. Kovalainen made too many errors and Fisichella was out of form. But now, Nelson Pique Jr. should be a gun (he's a Pique!) and with Alonso, you are contenders. You're making my BMW pants shiver.
