the gangsta 0
Lets talk here about Formula 1 sport. First news is about Michael Schumacher retired.Did you like it? I like Michael Schumacher. He is one of the best racing pilot ever exist. If you like F1 say here.
cice 0
It probably would have been better to not start a topic 3 days after the season ended.
the gangsta 0
Why? It is a problem? I dont think so.
cice 0
It's just that there's not a whole lot to talk about for the next 4 months. Don't get me wrong, I like formula 1, but it's just that this would be more relevant during the season, that's all.
the gangsta 0
Lets discous about the retired of Michael Schumacher or that Raikonen moved to Ferrari or Alonso moved to Meclaren Mercedes with his colleg Pedro De La Rosa or that Felipe Massa win the Brazlian circuit and he is the second Brazilian that wins in Brazil after Ayrton Sena. Jay 425
Come on cice, we gotta fire up for the next season! I beieve that Alonso may drop off a bit. Renault will continue to go from strenght to strength and Ferrari will come back up again. And minnows minnows minnows. Its amazing how a band of the greatest drivers in the world can assemble to drive the fastest racers in the world but only a handfull have any real chance of winning.
the gangsta 0
Yeah, but Alonso is a great driver so he will do good work at Meclaren. But the problem is with Raikonen. He will be a great driver at Ferrari?
vALKYR 7
Hmm, all season no topic (last reply was about the Indianapolis Fiasco in the other topic) and 3 days after the season one gets created Anyway, been a non-stop F1 watcher since 1994, never missed a race, apart from a few in 2002 when Micheal Schumacher ... like, won every race Lived in the same street as the McLaren HQ so obviously a McLaren Fan but since Raikkonen left to Ferrari, I shall see whom I will support next year. From 1994 to 2001 I've been supporting Hakkinen, then Raikkonen and now? Dunno, at least I'll never support El Toro Douchebagos Alonso. Now, don't worry, Raikkonen will win at Ferrari and it will prolly become the biggest team in the circus. What happens with McLaren... I don't know but I wish them all the best. And Spyker moving to Ferrari Engines plus having Gascoyne and maybe even Brawn (unconfirmed) will result in something nice, too. Pedro De La Rosa will prolly not drive for McLaren next Season as he kinda didn't take the chance to prove himself. And 'bout Michael Schumacher... never liked the guy and after he announced his retirement I was actually supporting for him but I like it this way. I mean, I just cannot have that face in F1 again. 12 years has been enough for me and I really hope 15 years has been enough for him. And good for Massa to win at Brazil Ayrton Senna still rocks better tho... Ok that have been my 35,95 Cents, have fun with it.
the gangsta 0
Ok,but it is only a single man that won 7 times F1.And that is Schumacher.Nobody can reach at his level. And for Alonso is a step down. And for Raikonen,hmmm.............he will do only good things at Ferrari. And he will win in 2007-2008 season the Championship. Tchuck 3,420
Some of his titles were when he was racing with a far superior car against virtually no opposition. Unlike Senna, that always had great racers racing against him (Ex: Prost), and the others before him, that also had strong opposition. To me, he's great, but not the greatest And about Massa winning here, I was very pleased. He did the perfect race, leading from start to finish. And Schumacher had a fantastic recovery after being bumped to last place because of his tyre.. I bet that win made Barrichello feel like crap.
the gangsta 0
''Like crap''. What a joke . But for now we can make only superstitions about 2007 Championship.
Jay 425
That, and he cheated soo badly. Alonso could do well at McLaren, depending on whether the massive engine troubles that have plagued Raikkonen carry over to him. Now Raiks is with Ferrari, which recently got its sh*t together and produced something reliable, he should rock the house. I believe. Raiks and Felipe are a force to be reckoned with. the gangsta 0
What about Schumi? I heard that the Emir of Saudi Arabia gave him an artificial island in Golf Persic.
Jay 425
What about Schumi? I heard that the Emir of Saudi Arabia gave him an artificial island in Golf Persic. Is that part of that massive Palm thingo they have going on in Dubai? I hear that he drives himself to the races from his hotel. Good man. I tell you who is useless... Webber. Coming from an Australian, he is so useless. You can invent any excuse in the world... he really isn't that good a driver.
cice 0
Poor, naive Jay. It's all about the car. No one (not even Alonso or Schumacher) could win in this years Williams. Luizzi would be able to win races if he was in the Renault or Ferrari. Performance is more to do with the abilty of the car, not the abilty of the driver. EDIT: regarding Schu's new island. It's actually going to be one of the many islands that will make up a map of the world, when viewed from above. The palm tree thing, I believe is going to have a Donald Trump resort on it. the gangsta 0
I will go there. So Schumi wait there because i will come there.

Pump Bumper 1
im an f1 fan (...although the racing is the worse it's ever been, aside from the years schumi dominated like crazy), so how about montoya coming to the US to run nascar??? ha! we stole one of your best! and guess what, he's having a tough time finding success in nascar. so to any f1 fans who think nascar is a joke and that it takes no talent to run on ovals, juan pablo will say different. sry for going off of f1 talk, but it is relevant. oh...and shame to whoever picks the tracks on the schedule. need more unique and fun tracks to offer a challenge and make better racing. Wheelman 3
ha! we stole one of your best! Umm, no? Montoya was good but far from the best. I seem to recall he got fed up with his lack of success and opportunities in F1, and decided to announce his plans for pastures new at the end of the season. At which point Ron Dennis simply said, "well f*ck off then." I may be paraphrasing slightly here. The point is, he wasn't stolen, he chose to move. So an average F1 driver goes to Nascar and does.... averagely. He's a far better driver than you or I, but at the pinnacle of motorsport he's only average. Or maybe it's just all the pies he eats, I dunno. oh...and shame to whoever picks the tracks on the schedule. need more unique and fun tracks to offer a challenge and make better racing. I'll not comment on the irony of someone defending nascar then criticising F1 for insufficient variety of circuits. Even though the new F1 circuits are f*cking awful - bland and artificial in the extreme.

M. H. Hunter III 135
i think gordan could probably do better then scott speed (sigh ) but just upon the first race and now the practice at the second track, it seems that ferrari are certainly set for certain domination (with alonso out of renault) although things could change
Parky. 583
Hamilton had a great race today. He's doing great seen as though he's just been promoted from F2. Congrats to Alonso for a brilliant display aswell, what was it? 30 seconds in front of Hamilton. Top driving

Pump Bumper 1
well after today, that's 3 career races and 3 podiums for hamilton. amazing. oh, and i think that jeff gordon or almost any active f1 driver could win a championship, given a shot with the right team.
a_fool_from_edinburgh 1
Been following the F1 so far am loving it, Think we could be in for quite a fun battle between MercdesMclaren and Ferrari. Have to say I've been most impressed with Lewis Hamilton so far! Old DC was pretty awesome in Bahrain as well shame his car quit on him. an't wait for Spain now.
Brad 436
Well, Hamilton on pole, again. Alonso has done well considering this is his least favourite track. Mclaren win? I thought so.
Stefan 0
Been watching F1 since 1995, all this Hamilton crazyness in the media is really annoying me. It doesn't help that I don't particularly like the guy, but even if it was someone I did like (e.g. Heidfeld, Räikkönen, Kovalainen) every damn race build-up and all the commentary through the race, it gets really tiresome, for everyone. I think he's doing a good job, not as much as maybe the media think (when was the last time the rookie started out in the fastest car on the grid?) but he's beaten Alonso fair and square, no doubt he's quick. I think Alonso will have it on him for the latter half of the season though. Think Ferrari will come back at McLaren but I don't think Massa has enough quality to get the title and Kimi really needs some reliability issues for McLaren to catch up. TDP992 77
I can't believe they're taking away the 2008 U.S. Grand Prix! I've been going up to Indy for it with my cousins for the past 5 years and it just sucks that F1 is taking away the only race in America. Hopefully it will be back on in '09. Jay 425
I beieve that Alonso may drop off a bit. Renault will continue to go from strenght to strength and Ferrari will come back up again. 1/3 wasn't bad. But it looks like Alonso's move has been a good one.
