When do you use cheats?

Well when do you use cheats?? I played through the whole gam and never used cheats. Therfore I got more enjoyment using cheats after I completed the game.

 

By the way the best cheat is the one when all civilians go nuts and attack you!

the only cheat i used throught the whole game was no traffic casue you know how anyoying the cars are in a chase mission rules

I never cheated when playing the story. I only used cheats when I was pissed off when I lost, but still then I never saved. Now, I usually use cheats if I'm using a script mod and want to cause some havok, test something out, etc etc.

I never used cheats in SA until I completed it 100%. Even then, I only use cheats when I don't need to save the game because in VC I saved the game with the Flying Cars cheat and then it wouldn't load my saved game. So I decided not to take any risks with SA. Besides, the game is fairly easy without cheats anyway.

Like 95% of other people, I don't use cheats while playing through the storyline (or for the whole game, for that matter). I only use them when I am mucking around.

The only time i used cheats is when i open a new game and just type in all the cheats and have a little fun, but i never cheated on my real save game, you get more enjoyment out of it. Also its fun cheating when you play in the two player mode.

Weapons cheats, Armor cheats, blow up cars cheats(good for racing missions). It never ruined the fun for me.

Since there is a smiliar topic about Vicecity, i thought we could do the same with SanAndreas

 

I think thouse are the most common ways to cheat through the storyline :

-You collected the body armor before starting the first mission.

-You collected AK47, Desert Eagle and SMG ammu in the very beginning of the game.

-You shot the tires of the broadway before entering Jizzies cathouse during the mission ,,Ice Cold Killa''

-You used the Jetpack during the Mission ,,up up and away''

-You flew over the sea during the mission ,,High Noon''

-You let Sweet at the Grove Street during the Mission ,,Grove 4 life'' ( so he can't die...)

-You used the sniper rifle to kill Ryder during ,,Pier 69''

Went to Inside Track Betting upon starting a "New Game." Took the 350 Dollars and turned it into 5 Billion Dollars and bought all the Safehouses in Los Santos, getting ready to start obtaining and storing Special Vehicles

 

Did 100 Spray Tags early on, so I get the Sawn-Off Shotgun to spawn in Ganton Safehouse. Then got Hitman Level on it, which allowed me to obtain the AP Bravura. You can only use a Minigun or dual Sawn-Off Shotguns to obtain this Vehicle. It won't even move any other way. Not even a Tank or Fire Truck will move it.

These aren't really classed as 'cheats' they are smart manoeuvres to make the missions easier. Cheats are classified as actually inputting a series of buttons to activate a cheat such as infinite health.

I don't believe collecting weapons and armor before a mission is classified as cheating, finding weapons and armor are legitimate pickups in the game.

I suppose if you really think about it, another method of cheating, from my pov, is watching a youtube video showing how to do the mission, rather than trying to complete it on your own.

I collect everything I can right before the first mission, even a hydra plane

I always use shortcuts everywhere I go

I use full immune vehicles during gangwars, when I don't I snipe them from far away

I go underwater to cross to the other islands

I use the jetpack to do the swimming part of "Beat the Cock"

I don't usually destroy my opponents vehicles in the races but I often make them go offroad

I use a Full immune police ranger to do the vigilante

I probably forgot a lot of them

If we mean cheat CODES, then i use them very rarley. (More fun without them in my opinion)

If we mean special property vehicles and "cheating" the missions so you can explore or whatever (like in drive thru, or dive by. Cant remember which one) then i do that all the time (thanks to well know forumers. I think fnxrak, was it u that does mission exploits? Also obtaining the vehicles i have to thank Jam8tone from youtube for his guides, so far.)
