TripleAs Posted December 26, 2006 Share Posted December 26, 2006 Well... that was discused in another topic some months ago... now... if Futu gives me permission to tell how I think he did it: Just make a copy of your model (weapon, building, whatever) in the same place as the original. Then, asign the copy to a black material and reorient the object (that's for 3DSMax/Zmod1... in Zmod2 you need to mirror it in Z axis)... the last thing you gotta do is scale the copy a lil bit bigger than the original... like %110 or %105 just to keep the lines visible.. and then... wallah (???) you got your cellshaded-like object done. Probs: For map objects, you'll be making double the polycount... so if your model is near 2k, export the .X file first... and then do the celshaded thingy to export to dff . For guns, try to avoid doing this with too hipoly stuff... it may lag if you do it for a lot of stuff... :? For cars and other stuff... always remember what i said about polys... you don't want a laggy game So... that's it... If i forget anything, i'm sure somebody will tell me... somebody like..
