Statixx Posted October 30, 2006 Share Posted October 30, 2006 Does the emulated firmware get patched instead, or does DevHook have a config file where you can override certain files on the UMD, or how does that work? I wonder if you add a PRX to DevHook's load list and the same PRX is provided on the disk, if it will skip loading the disk's version because that PRX is already loaded. Hmm if only somebody released a mod for devhook which lets you override certain settings. I'm sure devhook will be coming out in a few weeks anyway. You must patch an ISO of vcs in order to play which sucks =\ And yes no homebrewer has actually tried the game so there is still hope. Even if it has 2.80 modules, we should be able to swap them for 2.71 ones and get the game working under emulated 2.71. Then, we can use PRX cheating devices I've downgraded my firmware from 2.0 to 1.5 to be able to use the LCS cheatdevice and run games that support firmware 2.8 (or higher). I've installed DevHook, but LCS doesn't work. Can somebody explain to me how to install DevHook correctly so I can play LCS (with CheatDevice) and VCS. Not kernel mode, not DevHook, and not a downgrader. @palaric - of course you need to own the game @makaveli 7 - chill dude! Wait until we find out the details and it will be explained what to do.
