88survivor
The first three(I think) sounds just like my mother's late 70s disco singles she use to have and played back then. No, it's true. She did have some rare late 70s disco singles and I destroyed them. But I was only three when I did that. That was 1986. But, she did have Phreek..."Weekend", Sister Sledge's "We Are Family" album, and the unnamed song that I still can't figure out. My mother definitely had that disco single. You know, the beginning of the trumpets? She had that single. And I'll bet you a million bucks that George Benson's "Give Me The Night" will appear on Paradise FM, not to mention my mother had that album, too. Also, the Brothers Johnson "Stomp!" would definitely appear there also. My dad had the 8 Track for that song itself. True story. Also, you might say, "Damn! How could a young man of 23 years old remember these old records from the late 70s-early 80s?" But I have a great memory. I am just this autistic kid who remembers a lot of songs from my head. I also bet Cheryl Lynn's "Shake It Up Tonight" we'll be on Paradise FM. Trust me. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EJhbtzcXJHM Edited October 19, 2006 by 88survivor

88survivor
Good selection, Brian. I guess you also do not about what the selection of Paradise FM will be, though. If I am wrong with my typical guess selection, well then I am wrong.

GTAn00b
I don't think they'd ever put it, but some Metallica, definately. Since the game is in 1984, then definately from "Kill'Em All."

VAMOS A BAILAR for Espantoso. Turn Out The Light or Dance Dance Dance for Paradise, though i'm still hoping for Oliver Lady Killer Biscuit somewhere if no Fever 105. George Clinton would be nice too? 88survivor
I seen George Clinton live. He is awesome. "Atomic Dog" will be awesome, though. Interesting thing to note about Cheryl Lynn: In The Night(1981) was produced by Ray Parker, Jr. who also had a couple of hits with his late 70s and early 80s R&B Raydio days. I think the song "Quickie" would be good its from 1983's You Shouldn't-Nuf Bit Fish. I'll have to check out Ray Parker, Jr, thanks for the heads up. 88survivor
Interesting to note about Ray Parker, Jr.: His last song for his band, Raydio, was A Woman Needs Love (Just Like You Do) in 1981. Now, three years later he wrote a song for New Edition called Mr. Telephone Man. Now, consider the beat and rhythm of both songs. So similar and alike, it does not have to be so unlike. In fact, the songs are too similar to each other. Check the self-titled album of New Edition and Raydio's Woman Needs Love (Just Like You Do). Very similar. And yeah the man behind the boyband idea was none other than Maurice Starr who did produced New Edition and New Kids On The Block from the beginning. But did you know that Menudo is the only boyband that has over 30 ex members kicked out by the time they reached the age of 16 or after 16? Because the producers' main goals was to keep Menudo this enternally young image. Yes, sickening. Once you reached the age limit, you are gone from the group. But I am off-topic here. But you do know that Ray Parker, Jr. was sued by Huey Lewis because of his similarity to Huey Lewis and News' "I Want A New Drug" since the beat of "Ghostbusters" was similar as well. Sports came in late 1983. Ghostbusters album came in 1984. So, there you go. Edited October 19, 2006 by 88survivor

88survivor
And by the way, Pat Benatar is awesome to meet. Her husband, Neil, was cool, too. I just saw them in concert a few years ago and she rocked. She also played the two songs(16 songs in total) you heard on Flash FM(We Belong and Love Is A Battlefield), though I find it weird that Rockstar would select those two knowning that is the softer side of Pat herself. lurchseesu420
if theres a classic rock station then i want PAINT IT BLACK by the ROLLING STONES HOUSE OF THE RISING SUN by either the ANIMALS, FRIGID PINK, or BOB DYLAN KNOCKIN ON HEAVENS DOOR by BOB DYLAN WHIPPING POST by the ALLMAN BROTHERS BAND WHO'LL STOP THE RAIN by CREEDENCE CLEARWATER REVIVAL LAYLA by DERICK AND THE DOMINOS but since i don't see this for vcs i want some good 80's hard rock and metal. 88survivor
It'll be funny if Menudo is on radio Eposito(sp?)..... That would be funny. By the way, the Chic-like sounding guitar you heard on Shake It Up Tonight is none other than Ray Parker, Jr. himself. I am sure there would be a Chic song in Paradise FM...why else would they include a Sister Sledge song after all...

88survivor
Guns N' Roses didn't release their debut, Appetite For Destruction, until 1987. November Rain and You Could Be Mine is from 1991's Use Your Illusion I & II. Just checking... I love Guns N' Roses, though.
