The last two cds I bought were The Killers - Sam's Town and Lupe Fiasco - Food And Liquor. Sam's Town is pretty amazing, I love it. It's not quite as good as Hot Fuss but it holds its own. Sometimes it can suffer from being too epic in the choruses and too weak in the verses but that's only a minor complaint. Food And Liquor is very interesting too. I like Lupe's flow and song concepts. It's very different.

The cds I acquired were parts of Broken Social Scene's "Feel Good Lost", "You Forgot It In People", and "Broken Social Scene" albums. You Forgot It In People is my favorite out of the three. I love the lush instrumentation but the fuzzy vocals can get really annoying.

'You Forgot It In People' is an amazing album. One of my personal favourite albums in general actually.

Got 'Ágætis byrjun' by Sigur Rós a couple of days back. Haven't had the chance to give it a proper listen yet, but what I have listened to it's as beautiful as Takk... and ( ). Sigur Rós being one of the very few bands I could describe as beautiful.

Victor Wooten- A Show of Hands

PHENOMENAL BASS in this CD

I'm not so much a fan of victor anymore, I'd rather listen to jamerson groove on old motown than see bass gymnastics these days. When that album came out though, I was mesmerized. Anyways, on topic...

Hmm, well I don't 'buy' many albums... The last one I psychically bought was this:

Garage a Trois - Outre Mer

Charlie Hunter - 8-string guitar and pandero

Skerik - saxophonics

Stanton Moore - drums & polyrhythms

Mike Dillon - percussion and vibraphone

01 - Outre Mer

02 - Bear No Hair

03 - The Machine

04 - Etienne

05 - Merpati

06 - The Dream

07 - Antoine

08 - Circus

09 - Needles

10 - The Dwarf

11 - Amanjiwo

This album is breathtaking. If you're reading this, Sebastian, you'll like this. It's comparable to syncopated taint, but different.

"Retrospective: The Best of Buffalo Springfield"

Very good album, great band. Shame it didn't last too long. But the core members went on to other great projects so I guess it isn't that bad.

I bought the soundtrack for the movie Rockstar today

I absolutly love Steel Dragon. Zakk has some really really cool solos on that album, and Jeff has one sexy voice. Pluss some various classics, like Ted Nugent's stranglehold, and KISS's Like it up. smile.gif IT makes me happy.

Beastie Boys - Solid Gold Hits

I bought this cd after I really got into the Beastie Boys, then I heard some of their "great" songs, and I agree, the collection of songs on this cd are very good. I've just gotten more interested in the Beastie Boys since then and really like their music, and my interest in them basically stems from this cd.
