TonyZimmzy
Thanks for the positive replies glad you're enjoying it so far. Shame I was a newbie writer back then. The grammar, spelling and all around writing style until about Chap. 30 is bollocks . --- Chapter 54: The Last RomaniOctober 21ST 2004: New Stanford, England [6.48pm] Ryan Romani speeds around a corner and continues driving as cop cars shortly after speed around the corner, one being rammed into by a Cartel Cruiser. Catalina leans out of the window and continues firing at the declining number of police squad cars that are left, as the NSPD join in on the chase and try to block Ryan off, but he leans out the window and fires at the NSPD that have made a barricade and drives on through, as Terrance picks his speed up and drives through along with the remaining squad cars Catalina: Jou're driving like an old lady. Pick up 'deh speed already, I know these things can do more 'den one twenty five Alan leans out the back window and fires at the NSPD that have joined in on the chase and fires at them with an Uzi and shoots the windscreen of one out, hitting the driver and passenger cop both between the eyes and Catalina laughs and slaps him on the back, causing him to misfire at the remaining cops. Catalina: 'Dats more like it. Jou keep 'dat up, I'll keep 'dis sh*t up! (Leans past Terrance to the left and fires at a squad car) Terrance: (Swerves from side to side) I can't see you f*ckin' psychopath Terrance swerves onto the grass and Catalina is throw into the back seat, landing on top of Alan as Terrance screams and slams his foot on the brake and goes head first into a tree, and the airbag covers Terrance who is flailing his arms around trying to get out. Alan: (Rubs the cut on his forehead) Nice going, Terry. Terrance: (Pushes the airbag out of his face and looks behind him) It was that stupid bitch that caused me to hit the tree. If she hadn't thrown herself on me we would of caught up with Ryan and taken out the remaining cops! Catalina: Jou wouldn't of done anything. And why are jou making it sound like I'm a helpless little girl who needs a big strong red-headed man like jou to take care of me!? Alan: (Gets out of the Cruiser and slams the door in Catalina's face) Whatever, I'ma find my own way after Romani. I don't need either of you. Alan walks away as Terrance gets out of the Cruiser along with Catalina and they both look at each other. Terrance: (Takes his phone out and dials Christian) Hey, I got derailed. I'm near your place by the looks of sh*t, I'll grab the Kuruma and-- (Watches the Silver Kuruma speed by with Alan in the driver seat) nevermind. The Kuruma is occupied. Christian (OS): Alright, wait for me at the house. I'll be over shortly and I'll pick you up and give you a ride. Terrance hangs the phone up and turns to Catalina and they both begin walking. Terrance: Christian's comin' by to pick me up. I guess you're welcome to come along with us. You're a good shot when you're not being a bitch Catalina: (Watches a Cartel Cruiser speed around the corner and stop near her) I've got my own ride, big boy (Hops into the Cartel Cruiser) Terrance: ...f*ckin' tease. October 21ST 2004: New Stanford, England [7.19pm] Ryan finally loses control and crashes the Perennial into a wall and quickly gets out and waits for the remaining cop car to catch up, and he shoots at it with the 9MM, breaking the windscreen, and the squad car rams into him, sending him flying into the wall, and he fires random shots at the cop before he hits the floor, and hits the cop in the chest twice, killing him. Ryan slowly crawls underneath the squad car with the remainder of his strength, as Cartel Cruisers stop by the wreck, and Cartel members get out and start looking around. Catalina: (Gets out of a Cruiser and walks around) Where tha' f*ck did this asshole run off to damnit!? Search the surrounding areas, he can't be far. Catalina and her Cartel get back into the Cruisers and start driving away, as Ryan crawls out from under the squad car, gripping his chest, and he gets into the police car and shoves the dead cop into the passenger seat and reverses and pulls away. October 27TH 2004: New Stanford, England [12.18pm] Reporter: It's been almost a week since the devestation around London and New Stanford, and the hunt for Ryan Romani still continues. Believed to be hiding somewhere underground in New Stanford, it was revealed earlier this morning that his remaining druglab was found by the outskirts of London underneath a drained river. A special detective, known only as 'Red' has been working the case from San Fierro, San Andreas in America for the past month, and he says, and I quote: 'I am close to cracking the druglab case in England, and close to cracking the where abouts of wanted criminal Damien Robina here in the United States.' There is believed to be just one remaining lab left. Christian: (Tosses the remote to Terrance) We've gotta beat this son of a bitch to finding the druglabs before they're all shut down and destroyed. Terrance: (Turns the volume down as pictures of Damien Robina are flashed on the screen) sh*t is starting to get serious... Christian: We've gotta find that remaining druglab and make it our own if we're ever going to get back the profit we've lost out on. Terrance: (Takes out his phone and dials Alan) Hey, you and Julio just check the news? Alan (OS): Yep. Julio's gone nuts and is currently smashing his house up as usual. What about Christian? Terrance: Nah, he's cool. Come by later and we'll go looking for the lab ourselves, just like old times, right? Alan (OS): Yeah, I'll see you tomorrow. Take care. Terrance hangs the phone up and puts it back in his pocket. Christian: You're lookin' a little tired. (Takes out a bag of already mixed and ready cocaine) Time for a party break? Terrance: For once, no. I'm really not in the mood for blow right now. Christian: Alright, as you're mister detective around here lately, you can go over the Richard Patton notes that Alan got from the NSPD department once more. Terrance: (Looks at Christian for a moment, then speaks) I've got something to tell you. I've kept this a secret for countless months, but I trust you... Christian: (Takes a seat) Alright. I'm all ears, Terrance... Terrance: ...Alright, listen. Julia enters the room along with Kimber, both of them smoking cigarettes and talking to each other loudly and laughing. Christian: (Looks at them both) Can you please excuse us for a moment? We're trying to have a conversation here. And why the f*ck are you always here!? Kimber: Because your daddy is a f*ckin' drunk! (Leans all over Christian who pulls away) Christian: You stupid f*ckin' bitch, I can smell the f*ckin' vodka on your f*ckin' breath and you're tellin' me my dad's the f*ckin' drunk!? (Throws her on the floor) Julia: (Pulls Christian back) C'mon, stop Christian turns around and slaps Julia in the face, sending her to the floor as Terrance leans down and helps her, and Christian turns his attention back to Kimber. Christian: You see what jou make me do? Kimber: You're sick! You're as bad as your father! You're slowly becoming him! Christian kicks Kimber in the face a number of times until Terrance pulls him off of her, and Kimber is unconcious as Julia begins crying and kneels by her. Julia: (Looks up at Christian) I hate you, you ruin everything! Christian: (Looks at Terrance) Now...what was you going to tell me? Terrance: ...Nothing, forget it. It's not important. Christian: (Pulls out a 9MM from behind his back attatched to his belt and puts it against Terrance's neck and Terrance looks down at it, nervously) Jou say it's important and jou've had it for countless months on jour conscience, so, spit it out. Or I spit jou out. Terrance: Alright, alright. Just...just don't kill me, please... Christian: I'm not gonna kill jou if jou tell me the truth. That's all I'm asking of you... Terrance: ...Alright, listen. October 28TH 2004: New Stanford, England [3.31pm] Ryan Romani is sitting in a dark underground tunnel, with bags under his eyes and his hair covered with grease and dry mud. He's rocking back and forth on a rock as a door opens and someone comes down the steps and walks over to him, as Ryan stands up and turns a light on, spreading light through the majority of the tunnel. Ryan: I'm glad you could come. I'm really in over my head here with this damn 'Red' guy all over my ass. (Hugs his brother who hugs him back) Danny: (Pulls away) You ready to go? You wanna take a shower or something first? Ryan: No, I'm so ready to go right now. (Walks beside Danny as they exit the tunnel and up the steps) Man, I can't believe you've been away this long Danny: Austrailia is a big place. Come on, I rented out a PCJ720, I got here a little early so I tracked down a local race meet and placed first on it. Ryan: (Laughs) Just like my kid brother to do that sh*t when he's gotta bail his older brother outta trouble again. Danny: Yeah, well you know how it is. (Gets on the bike as Ryan follows him on and puts his helmet on and starts it up and speeds away). October 28TH 2004: New Stanford, England [3.41pm] Christian is sitting at the table of his living room looking through a brown notebook, with pictures and information of Tony on every single page. Terrance and Alan are playing cards in the corner as Terrance laughs and Alan throws his cards down, and both Julia and Kimber come into the living room. Kimber looks down at Christian and nervously gives him a smile, and he stands up, staring eye to eye with a bruised and battered Kimber. Christian: What the f*ck jou want? How about jou go the f*ck home before I break your nose worse than it already is, eh!? Alan: C'mon, (Stands up) there's no need for that. (Looks down at Terrance) C'mon, we'll give Kimber a ride home, right? Terrance: (Sighs) Yeah, I guess. Just because you can't taking losing at blackjack. Julia: (Laughs) I can't understand how you always lose at blackjack. Have you ever won? Alan: (Laughs) Nope. The room shares in the laughs, apart from Christian who sits back down and resumes looking through the book with information of Tony Zimmzy in it. Alan, Terrance and Kimber each walk away as Julia sits down next to Christian. Julia: How come you've been so violent lately? Is it the pressure of dealing with Ryan Romani? Christian: I dunno (Turns a page) I've got too much stress in my life. Julia: (Looks down at a headshot of Tony Zimmzy) Who's the guy in the picture? He's cute. Looks familiar, but I can't pinpoint where from, though... Christian: (Looks at Julia) His name is Tony Zimmzy (Continues flipping through the book) Julia: Ah, now I know why. Richard Patton, right? Christian: (Snaps and looks at Julia) Jou knew he was Richard Patton and jou didn't tell me!? What the f*ck is wrong with jou!?! Julia: (Backs away) Calm down...you're scaring me... I thought you knew because Terrance knew, and you were after him... Christian: (Stands up and shoves Julia into the doorframe) We were after two seperate people! If jou and Terrance hadn't kept it from us we could of put our men, money and energy into finding just one! Jou stupid f*cking whore (Punches Julia in the face, causing her to fall to the floor, unconcious) Christian spits at her and grabs his coat and walks over to the door and opens it and walks out. October 28TH 2004: New Stanford, England [3.58pm] Alan is in the drivers seat of the Silver Kuruma as Terrance is flicking through the radio stations and Kimber is in the backseat laying down, crying. The traffic upahead begins moving and Alan puts his foot back on the gas pedal as Terrance leans behind and looks at Kimber. Terrance: What's the matter? Kimber: (Sits up and takes a cigarette out from behind her ear and puts it in her mouth) Apart from the obvious? Christian has lost it, and Julio hates my guts. You guys can't take me home. You've gotta take me somewhere, anywhere, I don't care. I can tell something is gonna happen. (Lights the cigarette and wipes the tears from her cheek) And something is gonna happen to me if I stay here. And you two aswell. Julio is a user, and so is Christian. Can you both really trust them? Alan: I told Julio if he ever pulled that sh*t again I'd leave and never look back. And besides, (Stops the car at a red light) he seems to be much calmer with us now, since the incident anyway. Terrance looks out the window and sees a PCJ720 with two people on it speed through the red light doing a wheelie, and Terrance turns and looks to Alan. Terrance: That was Ryan f*ckin' Romani! Get after it! Alan: (Puts his foot down and starts gaining speed) You better not be wrong, Terrance.
TonyZimmzy
Chapter 55: ImpatienceOctober 28TH 2004: New Stanford, England [4.05pm] Alan speeds around a corner, hitting a man walking his dog as he continues speeding after the PCJ720 which has Ryan Romani and Danny Romani both on it. Alan shifts gears as Terrance starts looking through the car for any guns, and has yet to find any. Terrance: (Bumps into the door and punches Alan in the shoulder) Watch where you're f*ckin' driving. (Looks at Kimber) Check under the seats! Alan: It's no use, I can't keep up with him in this piece'a crap. We're just gonna have to hope he stops soon. Where's he heading? You know these streets better than me. Terrance: sh*t, could be anywhere (Looks back to Kimber) I asked you to check under the seats! Kimber: It's no use, Christian only keeps his guns in the hardest to reach in crisis places. They're all in the trunk. Alan: The trunk!? f*ck, I can't stop and get anything out and keep up with 'em. The hell do we do? Kimber: You don't do anything. Forget about Ryan Romani and forget about Mendez, both of them. Take me somewhere, please... Alan: I'll take you somewhere when Ryan Romani is laying face down in his own blood, alright? Kimber: Then I know exactly where they're going aswell. I'll tell you if you promise to take me somewhere, alright?.... Alan: Yes, alright, where!? Kimber: They're heading straight for NS Airport. Anybody could of figured that out. Romani needs out of the country badly, and he's probaly armed and plans on forcing his way out of the country. Terrance: (Takes out his cellphone and dials Christian and gets no response) Damnit, Christian's got his phone off (Dials Julio and awaits an answer) ... Julio (OS): What's up now, Terrance? Alan makes a sharp right, clipping the back of the car into a woman jogging and knocking her into the wall and causing Terrance to jolt and drop the phone. Terrance: Way to go! Can you take some f*cking driving lessons sometime!? Alan: (Bends down and picks the phone up and continues driving as he puts it to his ear) Mendez, Romani's on his way to NS Airport and Christian's not replying. Julio (OS): sh*t, jou following him right now? Alan: Yeah. But he's on the back of a bike and we're in a Kuruma, so it's pretty hard to keep up with him. Julio (OS): Take him down, Alan. Any means necessary, remember it. The line goes dead as Alan hangs the phone up and goes over a bridge, causing the Kuruma to lose it's touch from the ground and slam hard into the street below the bridge, as he continues after Ryan in the distance. October 28TH 2004: New Stanford, England [4.25pm] Ryan: (Looks behind and sees a Silver Kuruma dodging in and out of traffic) sh*t, Christian Mendez's car... (Squints his eyes and notices Terrance and Alan) Alan and Terrance in there aswell as someone else... you'd better stop the showboating and toss me your pistol. Danny: (Keeps a steady speed and reaches into his black coat pocket and pulls out a 9MM and hands it to Ryan) We're just a minute from the airport, you'd better hurry. Ryan begins shooting at Alan and Terrance, who duck down. Terrance: What took him so long? Damn, I wish I'd brung sumin' along with me right about now. Alan: Oh, you think? (Shifts gears and slows down a little) We'd better pull back a little, we're near the airport entrance now anyway... Danny stops the bike outside of the entrance to the airport and he and Ryan run up the steps and go inside where guards instantly recognize Ryan, and Ryan shoots at them. Danny: Come on, I checked this place over, I know a quick way to somewhere safe. Ryan shoots out the last guard as pedestrians run out of the airport in terror and Alan slams the handbrake on the Kuruma, and he and Terrance get out and check the trunk. Terrance: (Opens the trunk and takes out an AK47) That's more like it. Classic Christian Mendez weapons. Alan: (Takes a Micro SMG and a few clips and slams the trunk shut) Kimber, stay here. (Runs up the steps with Terrance into the airport) He'll be heading out onto the strip. Terrance: C'mon, I know a quick way. October 28TH 2004: New Stanford, England [4.41pm] Danny and Ryan both run out the fire exit door of the NS Airport, and are both back around at the front and Ryan looks around wondering why he's back out there and stops Danny. Ryan: What gives!? Danny: Come on, we're giving them the slip. Ryan follows Danny back around to the bike and Kimber watches them get on and she leans down in the back seat as Ryan turns around and looks at car but sees nobody in it, and Danny speeds away as Kimber takes out her cellphone and dials then puts it to her ear, looking out the window at Danny and Ryan in the distance. Terrance: (Hears his phone ringing and takes it out and answers it) Yeah? Kimber (OS): Ryan just came back around and got on the bike and got away! Terrance: sh*t! You've gotta be kiddin' me. (Hangs the phone up and puts it away and begins running towards the exit and he hears sirens) Damnit, what now!? Squad cars come to a harsh stop at the front of the airport and cops begin getting out in armys, taking aim behind the doors of the squad cars, as a cop takes a megaphone out of the boot of a squad car and turns it on and puts it to his mouth. Officer: We have the place surrounded. Come out with your hands up and this doesn't have to get ugly... Terrance: (Leaning down at the entrance doors with Alan next to him) They're after Ryan Romani, right? So we could just toss the guns and walk free. Alan: Sure, they're after Ryan. But do you think when they see me and you together that they're just gonna let us go? Use your head next time. Terrance: (Cocks the AK47) Then there's only one thing left to do. Alan: (Holds Terrance's arm and stops him from going outside) No, we'll give them something to come and get. Stop being so damn impatient and come on, follow me. Cops begin slowly approaching the doors, with pistols aimed firmly infront of them, taking it one step at a time and a cop boots the door down and they begin firing. Alan: (Ducks down and runs through a corridoor with Terrance behind him) I'll do the flying, you do the shooting. Cops begin running through the empty halls of NS Airport and turn through the corridoor Alan and Terrance ran through and continue going down it until they reach an open window leading out to the airstrip and they see Alan and Terrance running towards a Maverick and begin opening fire on them. Terrance: (Hears a bullet fly past his ear and covers his head and opens the door of the chopper as Alan jumps in and he follows) Start it up, quick! Alan: The keys, where the hell are the keys!? Terrance: (Looks around and sees a pair of keys and pilot goggles on a rack and hands the keys to Alan and looks down to the airstrip and sees cops coming) You'd better hurry! Alan: (Starts it up and looks at Terrance while waiting for the blades to pick up speed) Well!? Start shooting! Terrance starts firing at the cops and hits two in the chest as the others begin firing back, and Terrance shoots another, this time in the leg as the Maverick begins gaining height, and Alan guides it over NS Airport and sees the cops and squad cars below, along with the Silver Kuruma which Kimber is hiding in. Officer: They're making a break for it! Bring it down! Terrance starts firing down at the cops until he runs out of ammunition and Alan tosses him his Micro SMG and circles over the cops stationed below firing up, and Terrance starts firing down at them with the Micro SMG, and causes a squad car to catch fire, and cops to begin running away, and some to get caught in the explosion. Alan: (Yells) How many're left? Terrance: (Begins reloading and then continues firing) About half a dozen. (Hits another cop in the head, causing his body to go limp and collapse, dead) Terrance takes the remaining cops out and Alan begins lowering the chopper down and hovers a few inches from the ground as Kimber gets out of the Kuruma and climbs into the chopper, and Terrance closes the doors and Alan takes off into the sky. Kimber: (Breathing heavily and takes a cigarette out of her jacket pocket) Romani was heading east. Terrance: Forget it, let's go for now. We're outta clips. Kimber: (Lights the cigarette) Can you take me somewhere now? Please? Alan: Alright already. Come on, I've got a place in Pagan City Alan tilts the nose of the Maverick and gains speed as he begins turning around and starts heading North. October 29TH 2004: New Stanford, England [11.22am] The same Maverick comes into landing just above a store and sets down behind it in a wide alleyway and Alan waits for the blades to stop spinning and he and Terrance both open the doors and get out and walk around the front of the alley and past the store which has Halloween decorations all over it. Alan has bags under his eyes and his hair is all messed up and he looks like he hasn't shaved in a few days, and his eyes are almost red, and the same with Terrance. Terrance: Pagan City, huh? What were you thinking. You should of told me you were wanted over there. Making me shoot down a f*ckin' fighter plane. (Walks over to a parked Manana and breaks the lock and gets inside with Alan and Alan gets in the back and lays down and shuts his eyes) Alan: I just need to get some rest now, alright? I haven't slept in what seems like days and I feel like crap. Now come on and drive. Terrance: (Laughs) Whatever you say. Alan: (Laughs) I didn't mean to give you a hard time. And besides, you've given me nothing but stress since Liberty City. Terrance: Alright, I'll call it even with you then. (Puts his foot on the gas pedal and turns the radio on) Reporter: Cops are still chasing Ryan Romani down the M25 with no sign of him giving up just yet... Alan: (Sits up) Again!? Get over to London and get over to Julio's place. Terrance: (Takes out his phone and makes a sharp left and dials) ...Christian, you seen whats going on!? Christian: (OS): Where the hell have jou been!? And yes I've seen what's going on! Get over here and pick me up. Julio's pissed at me and jou and Alan because Kimber's gone, and jou wouldn' happen to know anything about that now...would jou? Terrance: No? Alright, I'll be over as soon as possible. (Hangs the phone up) I'm gonna go pick Christian up. Julio's pissed at him and us for taking Kimber to Pagan. Alan: sh*t, alright, stop and I'll head over to London now. Take care of yourself, alright? Terrance: You're talking to Terrance Wood here, Alan. (Sharply stops the car infront of an Infernus) I'm having that! Terrance gets out of the car as Alan jumps into the driver's seat of the 4-seated Manana and reverses as Terrance bangs on the drivers window and the posh, rich woman rolls the window down and has a disgusted look on her face when she sees Terrance. Woman: Sorry, urgh. I don't need my windows washed. Terrance grabs her by the neck and pulls her out the window as she starts screaming and drops her snakeskin handbag and her belongings fall to the floor and Terrance pushes her into the other side of the road, and she's hit by a Kuruma, and the Kuruma brakes and the driver gets out and goes to check on her, and Terrance gets inside the Infernus and starts speeding through the busy streets of New Stanford whilst laughing at the sight of an old lady being mowed down by a car, dodging in and out of traffic as he goes. October 29TH 2004: New Stanford, England [12.04pm] Terrance stops the Infernus right below Christian's mansion steps with such force that the tires cause such friction with the rims that sparks begin falling on the smooth grey road. Terrance gets out the Infernus and runs up the steps and takes his key out and opens the door and closes it behind him, running inside and through the long stretched hallway and up the stairs until he reaches the living room to find Christian yelling at Julia, with cocaine all over the place. Terrance: Come on, it's time for Ryan! Christian: (Grabs his brown coat from the chair and gives a disgusted look to a crying Julia Mendez) Jeah, lez' go. This f*cking whore is givin' me a headache. Terrance: (Closes the door behind him and walks back down the stairs with Christian at his side) We're not gonna lose him this time, we've just gotta beat him to the point where he runs on empty and the cops pounce on him. Terrance and Christian walk down the stretched hallway, and Terrance has a smile on his face as they walk. Calm, cool and collected past the paintings of the dull hallway, slowly approaching the door. Taking one final breath in before Terrance grabs the doorknob and opens it, only to be staring down the barrel of a SPAS Shotgun in Tony's hand, and both Terrance and Christian take a step back, looking nervously into Tony's cold brown eyes. Tony: Remember me?

TonyZimmzy
Chapter 56: Tony ZimmzyOctober 29TH 2004: New Stanford, England [12.12pm] Terrance stumbles backwards as Tony walks through the doorframe and Terrance trips over Christian's foot, and both he and Christian fall over, and Christian gulps as Tony pushes the front door closed with his left foot and continues aiming the SPAS Shotgun at both Terrance and Christian, changing between the two rapidly. Christian: Who are jou!? Tony: Don't play dumb with me. I know you know exactly who I am, and I know you know exactly what I'm about to do. Christian: Well f*ck this 'den! (Screams) If I'm gonna die, then jou're gonna die aswell! Tony looks dead into Christian's eyes and sees nothing but madness, and he looks into Terrance's eyes and sees someone on the edge who can't take much more, and then Mendez gang members begin coming down the hallway with M16's in hand, and Christian tilts his head upwards and smiles, looking at them. Christian: 'Chu gonna do now, 'Richard'? Tony aims the SPAS Shotgun at the Mendez men, and then proceeds to shoot them down one by one, each Mendez goon dropping like a fly, and the smile is soon wiped from the face of Christian, and he looks at Tony in the eyes. Tony: (Looks down at Christian) First, I want some answers, and if you give me the right answers, you might live to see the sun rise over the quarry tomorrow morning. October 29TH 2004: London, England [12.49pm] Alan speeds down the M25 with nothing but cracked lips, stubble all over his neck and face, and a one track mind as he approaches all the cop cars in the distance, and picks his speed up until he catches up with them. He pivots one of of the police cars, and the cop gets out and starts shooting at Alan in the car who ducks down. Alan reverses and causes on-coming vehicles to swerve uncontrollably and one of the cars hits the cop and instantly kills him. Alan checks around for any more cars and doesn't see any, and he quickly runs out of the Manana and grabs the pistol next to the cop's dead body and gets into his squad car and continues speeding after the other squad cars until he catches up and he rams inbetween two squad cars and starts ramming into them side to side, and they both lose control and crash as Alan continues on, then his phone rings. Alan: (Takes it out and puts it to his ear, breathing heavily) Yeah? Julio (OS): Jou're on the news, eh. Chopper's behind jou. Men are on 'deh way, but jou know, it'll be a while before 'dey catch up... Alan: Alright. Where's Terrance and Christian? Julio (OS): Don't know, eh? Haven't heard from 'em. I'll call 'em ina sec. Alan hangs the phone up and keeps control of the wheel as he leans out the window with the 9MM and starts firing up at the chopper, and the chopper begins firing down at his squad car. Alan: (Leans back inside and picks up his speed) "Crap, one of those ones with guns." (Feels the bullets hitting the bonnet and he slams the brakes on and watches the chopper fly by and then start turning around) Alan leans out the window and fires up at it and cracks the windshield and a cop falls out of the chopper and his body bounces off the hard roads below, and cars begin swerving to avoid his body, and Alan shoots again and the chopper begins spiralling out of control and going down. Alan slams his foot on the gas pedal and begins speeding fowards as the chopper is coming down. Alan opens the door and reaches down and tries to grab the cop's gun but narrowly misses and continues going as the chopper misses the car by an inch and the chopper explodes, causing the squad car to get a boost in speed. Alan looks up ahead and notices the squad cars slowing down. Alan: Damnit, he's outta gas and I've got about ten rounds left... (Slows down slightly and watches cops get out of their squad cars and aim at Ryan Romani's car) Alan then picks up his speed and runs over two cops, as some cops turn around and start firing at Alan who ducks down and starts hammering his feet into the windscreen, and it's soon kicked out, and Alan starts firing at the cops, hitting them in the head with just one shot per cop. He runs out of ammo and quickly stops the car and gets out of the squad car and crawls down to the cops he ran over and grabs both of their guns and stands up and starts firing at the remaining cops who put up little to no fight, and Alan begins approaching the Bobcat that Ryan's inside of. He opens the door and starts firing inside, and shoots a random balding african-american man. Alan: (Throws the gun on the floor and takes out his phone and dials Julio) ...It was a f*ckin' set up. Ryan wasn't in the-- Danny Romani starts speeding towards Alan on the PCJ720 and Ryan leans over his side from behind and starts firing at him with a Tec9, and hits him in both arms, as Alan dives to the floor and rolls under the Bobcat, as the PCJ stops and Ryan gets off and Alan slowly picks up the 9MM pistol and fires at Ryan's legs, hitting his left one and Ryan drops his Tec9 and quickly hops back on the bike, and Danny picks up his speed as he pulls off. Alan: Damnit. (Drops his gun and can't stop both of his arms from shaking, as blood begins pouring from them. He reaches for his phone and takes it and rests it next to his head) Julio? Julio (OS): What is it? What just happened? Alan: I got shot Julio (OS): f*ck! Forget about that just get after Ryan, damnit! Alan hears the line go dead and he slowly lifts his arms up and rolls out from under the Bobcat and stands up; still wobbly, and gets into a squad car and starts driving away in the opposite direction that Danny and Ryan sped away in. Alan: "Son of a bitch cares more about Ryan dying than any of his men dying in the process. f*ckin' prick..." Alan picks up his speed, trying to drive the squad car with two almost useless arms. October 29TH 2004: New Stanford, England [1.31pm] Both Terrance and Christian are tied to seperate chairs in the weapons basement of Christian's mansion. Both of them have blood running down their faces from beyond their hairlines, and Terrance has almost passed out from bloodloss. Christian is breathing heavily with his eyes closed, as Tony walks around them with a bloody SPAS Shotgun in his right hand from where he's been hitting them both, and he leans down infront of Terrance and grabs him by the neck and lifts his head up. Tony: I'm not gonna keep this up forever. I don't need the answers that bad, because I can find them out myself without your 'help'. Terrance: (Spits at Tony's face as Tony laughs and punches him in the face. After swishing some blood around in his mouth, he lets it run down onto his shirt, and opens his mouth to speak) I told you... I don't know where Alan is. We don't keep contact anymore. Tony: (Laughs) No, because I know you're lying there. I've been following you both very closely, and I've seen him with you before. Terrance: That was a long time ago. Christian: God damnit, we're gonna f*ckin' die here. Yes, Alan is in London right now with my father. Tony: Good. I want you to phone your father and tell him to get Alan to come over here to New Stanford. (Takes out his cellphone and dials on it then puts it to Christian's ear) Christian: (Coughs) Urgh... Julio (OS): Hello? Christian: Pops, I need jou to send Alan over to my mansion, alright? Julio (OS): Eh? He's busy, and I'm still pissed at jou an' him... Where are jou? Christian: I'm here. Listen-- Tony pulls the phone away from Christian and hangs it up and slams the SPAS Shotgun into the back of Christian's head, causing blood to explode out of his nose, and he begins screaming and crying in pain as Tony turns his attention back to Terrance. Tony: Next question, maybe you can answer this one; did you know that Julio Mendez was the leader of the Colombian Cartel? (Points the SPAS Shotgun into Terrance's nose) Terrance: Colombian... Cartel?... Christian: (Tilts his head up and looks at Tony, with blood running into his mouth) He is. God, he is. Just let me live! Tony: That's all I wanted. Just a few simple answers, and look at what you've done to yourself. You're a mess because of it. Well, it was nice seeing you again, Terrance. But there's one thing I'm forgetting... ah yeah, I came here to kill you both. Not for answers. (Scoffs) How childish of me. Tony puts the SPAS Shotgun to Terrance's head as Terrance tenses his eyes shut, and the basement door is opened by Julia Mendez, with a Desert Eagle in her hand, aimed firmly at Tony who looks up at her and smirks. Tony: Your sister has some balls, Christian. Unlike you. Julia fires the Desert Eagle at Tony, and grazes his shoulder, as Tony looks at the blood start coating his white buttoned up shirt, and he looks at her and smiles and aims the SPAS Shotgun at her and shoots her in the ribcage, causing her body to stumble backwards into the wall and then hit the floor. Tony: You got some gauze in this place? (Looks around and walks over to some of the weapon cabinets) Colombian Cartel members begin coming into the room, aiming AK47's at Tony who still has his back turned, and they begin firing at him, as he quickly turns around and feels a bullet graze his side and fly by his ear. He dives behind the weapon cabinet and lays down and starts firing underneath it, taking out Colombian's knees and feet, as they fall to the floor where Tony shoots them in the body and head until only two are left, and they run over to Christian and Terrance in the chairs. Tony: (Stands up and starts firing at them) No you don't! I ain't finished with them yet! Christian and Terrance, both free, jump out of the chairs as the Colombian's are hit and they run out the door and Tony starts running after them, and they both run towards the front door, and Tony fires the SPAS Shotgun and hits Christian in the back and he falls down, causing Terrance to trip over him, and Terrance crawls into the hallway after realizing the door is too far to go, and he quickly starts running upstairs as Tony fires another shot into Christian Mendez's lifeless body. Tony starts running through the stretched hallway and upstairs. Terrance runs into his room and leans down under the bed and pulls out an M60 and turns around, aiming it infront of him, waiting for Tony to come through the door as the blood trickles from his hairline all the way down to his lips, as the doorknob begins slowly turning and Terrance cocks the M60, and then the doorknob stops turning and Terrance is left speechless. He slowly begins walking closer to it, when a hole is blown into the door, and the bullet penetrates Terrance's chest and he drops the M60 and falls to the floor. Tony: (Walks a few feet to the door and turns the doorknob the full way and walks inside to see Terrance dying on the floor, and he leans down to him) Do you take me for an idiot for something? I open the door and eat a hail of bullets, or I just blow the wooden door out, probaly hitting you standing there waiting for me to walk through... The real question is; why didn't you just fire through the door when you saw the doorknob turn? (Smiles and rips Terrance's shirt off and sees he's wearing no bodyarmour, and his chest is bleeding out profusely and he stands up, watching Terrance die on the floor) I'm not perfect, I made a mistake. You failed to capitolize on it, though. That's what always made you different from your brother. Have a nice journey, asshole. Terrance chokes on his own blood, looking up at Tony, who has an evil smirk on his face. Tony has his right hand copped behind Terrance's head, holding his head up, making sure the last thing he sees before dying is that menacing grin on his face. Terrance's eyes slowly begin to close. Christian and Terrance, both dead. Tony's won. October 29TH 2004: London, England [3.17pm] Alan is resting up in the hospital as he puts his black jacket on and proceeds to leave the room, and back out into the hallway where a Nurse and Doctor both stop him. Doctor: Sir, you can't leave just yet. You've fractured both of your arms, and there is a slight chance of lead poisoning. Alan: Sorry, but I've gotta go. Thanks for the help, though. (Continues walking down the hall and he sees a bunch of people standing around an injured person) Nurse: Give the woman some room to breathe! Please, everyone step back, she will be okay! Alan glimpses at the woman as he walks towards the double doors of the hospital entrance and notices it's Julia Mendez and he quickly shoves past everyone and leans down to her and puts his hand behind her head and lifts her head up slightly, and she opens her eyes. Alan: Julia!? What happened!? (Looks around) It's alright, I'm family. Nurse: We need to get her to a room and stabalize her right away. She has taken a violent hit to the stomach. Julia: A..Alan.. my dad.. no.. they're..he killed.. Alan: Your dad!? Julia: Christian.. your brother.. dead.. Julia passes out as Alan stands up with a blank look on his face, and he slowly gets back to his feet and walks outside. A blank stare in his eyes as he walks past medics and hospital by-standers and jacks the nearest car he can find, which is a Glendale and he hotwires it and starts it up as a pain shoots through both of his arms. He can't even feel it. He rips the bandages off of them and reverses the Glendale as the Radio begins playing. Reporter: ...It's unknown yet as to what happened just hours ago in New Stanford, other than this looks like a mob execution type killing. If you've just joined us, rumoured mob boss son and drug lord Christian Mendez, and wanted fugitive Terrance Wood, were both found dead in Christian's home at around 2PM when a passerby said he heard horrific gunshots from inside the house. He also said he saw a man in his mid to late twenties exiting the house shortly afterwards, with a Shotgun in hand, and blood all over his clothes, not his own. Possibly the executor, or 'hitman'. Cops rushed to the spot to find a dozen dead bodies, and one young woman, alive. Police Chief Jimmy Lopez said she suffered incredible bruising through the bodyarmour she had on. It is believed she was trying to save her brother, Christian Mendez, from this execution. More on this story when we recieve it... Alan: Mendez... (Grits his teeth and picks up his speed) you're f*ckin dead.

Hey, was wondering where you were Gonna give out a little information, seeing as I haven't done so in a while, so here goes. The next chapter is the final chapter in the short, continuation saga of 'The Rise & Fall', which is the 'Aftermath', depicting what happens after. The chapter will be called "Alan Wood", and Alan's fate was already decided at the beginning of chapter 14, so it's not really a spoiler as to what happens. After chapter 57, welcome back to 1995. TonyZimmzy
End of the line. --- Chapter 57: Alan WoodOctober 29TH 2004: London, England [4.28pm] Tony is resting in the front seat of the Infernus he took from Christian Mendez's house, as Marci is bandaging up his shoulder which took a slight graze from Julia's Desert Eagle. She pours some gauze on it then puts a large cotton ball on it and Tony holds it firmly pressed against the wound as the baby begins crying on top of Tony's lap. Marci: (Takes Videl from his lap and starts trying to calm her down and she looks at Tony) You're gonna rest up now, right? Like you promised. Tony: Yeah. Yeah I guess I really should. (Opens the car door and steps out and Marci does the same on the passenger side) No use in staying in this place anyway. Book us a flight for the thirty first back to Vice City. I'll swing by Julio Mendez's place tomorrow evening and put an end to this. No more Cartel in Vice, and no more gang wars, either. Marci: Alright, just...please be careful. A shoulder graze is nothing but I don't want to see you on the nine o' clock news. Marci follows Tony into the Motel and closes the door behind her. October 29TH 2004: London, England [4.50pm] Alan is standing inside of an Ammunation, looking over some Tec9's and Mac 10's, and he picks up a Tec9 and an M4 as the counter jockey comes over and pats him on the back and laughs, with a distinctive croak in his voice which angers Alan. Salesman: You interested in the M4, eh? That's a mighty fine choice. Is it in your price range? These things don't come cheap. Alan: (Turns around and faces the salesman and grabs him at the lips and slams his head into a gun rack on the wall and gets up close to his face) You're going to show me where you keep the ammo, and you're going to give me it. Free of Charge. Understand? Salesman: Y...yeah. Alan lets go and the salesman nervously picks up his pace and approaches a door around the back of the store as Alan starts shaking his left arm and looks down at his black shirt sleeve, which has a dark wet spot where blood has began leaking from his wound, and he continues shaking the arm until he gets some feeling back. Salesman: (Opens the door and goes inside and takes out a box) M4 ammo. Now if I ever see you in here again, you know what's going to happen to you, right? I'm going back to keeping some guns behind my counter, and I've got a keen eye for remembering faces, and-- Alan headbutts the salesman, knocking him unconcious, as Alan bends down and picks up the box of ammunition and goes back out to the M4 and puts it on top of the box and walks out of the store, as he starts blinking rapidly, trying to keep himself awake, and he drops down to one knee and puts his hand on the Glendale and starts coughing up some blood. He spits it out and shakes his head and opens the Glendale door and throws the box inside and gets inside of it and starts it up and pulls away. October 30TH 2004: Las Venturas, San Andreas [1.59pm] News cameras are all over the place inside of vans and up in choppers, following an unusual chase that's going on. Vincent Sean is in a Black Washington, speeding away from three choppers above him firing down at him. Vincent has a grin on his face and has a large sack of money in the passenger seat. He takes a sharp right and one of the choppers crash into a building as Vincent starts speeding towards the free way, and the sack starts tipping over the seat as Vincent laughs and continues driving. October 30TH 2004: London, England [3.19pm] Julio Mendez is pacing back and forth in the living room of his mansion, with his phone by his ear trying to call out to Christian Mendez, but he's had no luck with an answer and can't understand why. He hangs it up and goes out to a group of his goons that are standing around smoking joints and laughing. Julio: (Laughs and takes one of the joints from the men) Alright, listen: my son, he ain't answerin' the phone. You guys mind goin' and checkin' his mansion in 'Stanford? Mendez Goon: Sure, boss. We'll head over there now. The group of goons leave as Julio puts the joint in his mouth and starts bobbing his head back and forth. He walks into the living room and turns the CD player on in the corner of the room and starts listening to an upbeat pop song, and trying to sing along with it as he claps his hands. Julio: (Sits down and puts the joint on the table) Romani's outta what's left of my hair, an' it's time to take this city over again. Julio Mendez's empire, back on it's feet. Julio looks out the front window at dozens of his men and opens the window and picks up a half empty bottle of vodka. Julio: (Holds the bottle of vodka up high and cheers) The Mendez empire is back! The goons all cheer and fire their AK47's into the air as Julio shuts the window, laughing. He goes back over to the table and picks up the joint and puts it back in his mouth. October 30TH 2004: London, England [3.26pm] Tony is doing sit-ups on the Motel room bed while Marci is watching TV on the couch, and Videl is playing with a set of keys in her baby carrier. Tony stands up and wipes his forehead with a towel and puts on a light blue v-neck shirt and walks towards the Motel room door. Marci: (Turns the TV off) Wait, where are you going? Tony: Figured I'd go for a quick jog. I said don't worry about me, alright? I'll be just fine. This will all be over tomorrow and we can finally start our lives as a family. (Walks out the door and closes it behind him then begins jogging) October 30TH 2004: London, England [4.24pm] Alan takes a swig of whiskey straight from the bottle and screws the cap back on and throws it in the passenger seat of the Glendale and cocks his M4 and gets out of the Glendale. He's standing at the foot of Aspfield Avenue and he starts walking through, and Mendez gang members cheer when they see him. Mendez Goon: Hey, it's Alan! The boss has been lookin' for jou, eh? Alan hoists the M4 up and pumps round after round into the Mendez goon's rib cage as he falls on the floor, and the Mendez members stop cheering. Alan looks at them all for a moment, all over the street and counts them all, and then starts opening fire on them as they counter fire. Alan gets hit in the arm and he continues firing, and walking backwards and to the side over to Julio's mansion gates, and he stops firing and climbs over the gates, getting hit in the leg as he jumps over. He rolls behind the flower bush and kneels up and continues firing at the Mendez gang members. He clips one in the shoulder causing him to drop his AK47, and then Alan shoots him in the chest and he falls into a parked Romero and the alarm begins going off, and is shortly cut off as a Mendez gang member takes cover behind it and Alan begins pumping round after round into it until it explodes. The car goes up into a blaze in the middle of the street as pedestrians begin running out of their mansions, and Alan shoots at them aswell, not thinking if they're Mendez goons or not; over the edge. Julio: (Looks out his top floor window down below and can't see who's shooting everyone down and he starts running through the house) "sh*t, why now of all times? f*ckin' buzz killer" A Cartel Cruiser speeds by and Alan shoots at it as Cartel members begin firing out the windows, and Alan gets hit in the same spot he was shot yesterday, and he drops his M4 and screams in pain. He picks the M4 up with his other hand and continues firing and the Cartel Cruiser explodes, wiping out the remaining Mendez goons. Alan: (Stands up and hears a bullet fly by his neck, singing the hairs on them. He quickly turns around and fires at two Mendez goons at the foot of Julio's mansion and screams) Come on! How many more of you are gonna have to die!? Another Mendez goon runs out of the mansion and gets shot between the eyes as Alan reloads the M4 and makes his way up the mansion steps and goes inside and closes the door behind him. Alan: (Screams) Mendez! I'm taking you down you snake! Julio: (Loads up a Colt Python and wipes the sweat from his forehead and screams) Alan!? What the f*ck jou doin'!? Mendez goons appear at the top of the stairs and Alan kneels down and shoots at their legs and they begin falling down the stairs, screaming in pain, and they all land at the bottom of the stairs at Alan's feet, and he continues firing at them and then reloads as Julio appears at the top of the stairs and fires down at Alan, hitting him in the ribs. Alan: (Drops and rolls to the side and screams in pain and finishes reloading and stands back up; yelling upto Julian) This is for my brother! Alan runs back out infront of the stairs and fires up, but Julio has gone. Alan starts limping up the stairs as Julio runs into his room, breathing heavily. He takes out his cellphone and starts dialing a number and the door gets shot at, and Julio jumps back-first onto the bed and fires at Alan, and Alan fires back. Julio: (Grazes Alan's head and gets hit in the chest and falls off the bed) f*ck...sh*t! Damnit! (Grips the Colt Python and fires at Alan's feet under the bed, and hits them both) Alan: (Falls backwards and rolls back into the hallway and wipes the blood from his forehead) What're you gonna do when it's just me and you, huh!? Julio: Kill jou! Like I'm doing! (Opens his shirt and checks his bodyarmour and sees the bullet has penetrated it, and a slight bit of blood is visable) Why jou doin' this!? Alan: For my brother! And your daughter! You sick mother f*cker! Julio: (Grabs the phone and continues dialing a number as Alan pokes the M4 around the doorframe and shoots at Julio who ducks back behind the bed) Jou don't know what jou're talkin' 'bout! I don't get it, but I meant when I said, jou're useless to me now that jou took Ryan out! So jou want this? Fine, eh?! Julio's arm is shot and he throws the cellphone on the floor over the bed and he crawls under the bed and grabs the phone and looks up to see Alan standing in the doorframe, with the M4 aimed down at him, and he sees Mendez men coming up the stairs slowly. Julio: Before jou kill me, eh...give me a straight answer... (Throws the Colt Python over to Alan's feet, and he sees Alan's legs are wobbling) Why jou doin' this? A Mendez goon shoots Alan in the lower-back and Alan turns around and shoots the Mendez men coming up the stairs and they tumble back down. Julio: (Reaches for his cellphone and finishes dialing and looks up to see the M4 pointed right above his forehead) Jou gimme an answer, and jou gimme it now! Is it the money!? The power!? What!? Alan: (Looks down at the phone, breathing heavily) What you gonna do? Put a call through to one of your hitmen? The same one that killed Terrance!? (Cocks the M4) Julio: What?...Terrance?... Oh sh-- Alan shoots Julio between the eyes and his hand lets go of the cellphone. Alan drops the M4 and stumbles into the doorframe, and then turns around and begins leaving. He walks down the stairs and trips on one of the bottom steps and lands on top of a bunch of dead Mendez men and he slowly gets up and coughs up some blood and spits it out onto the marble floor and crawls out the door and down the steps and then stands up and continues walking and sees more Mendez goons coming. Alan: (Drops down to one knee and picks up an AK47 and stands back up and starts firing at them all and screams) MENDEZ IS DONE! (Drops down to one knee and picks up another AK47 and gets shot in the arm and feels the bone break as he screams in pain and continues firing at the Mendez goons) YOU'RE ALL DONE! Alan gets shot in the ribcage again as he shoots the last Mendez goon between the eyes and watches his body hit the floor. Alan: (Stands up and grips his ribcage and drops the AK47 and walks out into the street and laughs) Mendez... (Starts breathing heavily and continues laughing) I told you if you started that sh*t again, it'd be the last time... (Spits some blood onto the concrete and turns around and starts walking towards the Glendale at the end of the street) A PCJ720 speeds around the top of the street and turns into the back entrance of Aspfield Avenue and Danny Romani picks up his speed, gripping an Uzi on the PCJ. Alan hears a bike coming and then a bullet from the Uzi penetrates his back and his pupils dilute as he's shot again in the same spot and he watches the PCJ speed past him, and sees Danny Romani twist his ribs and lean back on the bike and aim his Uzi towards Alan and he shoots him once more in the chest, and Danny continues speeding down Aspfield Avenue and then round a corner, as Alan drops down to his knees and then falls face first onto the concrete. Dead.
TonyZimmzy
THE CHANGING OF TIMES Chapter 58: Growing Pains May 26TH 1995: London, England [11.34am] Alan Wood is carrying his skateboard, walking down the broken pavement of Hawthorn Court, as he takes a cigarette out the pocket of his light blue denim jeans, and puts it into his mouth and reaches into his other pocket and pulls out a match and bends down on the ground and strikes it on the rough curb. After a fourth try, it catches fire, and he holds it close on the cigarette as it lights, and as quickly as he inhaled, the cigarette fell from his pinched lips and he started coughing violently and dropped his skateboard. Tony: (Stands up from the curb, laughing) I told you, some people are born to smoke; some aren't. Alan: And some are born to skate! Alan flips the board over with his left foot and jumps on and starts pushing away from Tony, who drops his board onto the floor and stands up, gets on it with his left foot and starts pushing away, racing after Alan in the distance. Tony: (Shouting) Where the f*ck are we goin!? Alan: (Shouting) Back to school, break's almost over! Alan reaches a large downhill slope, stretching as far as the eye can see and puts both feet onto the skateboard, as he ollies onto a rail and nosegrinds down to the end and ollie north's off of it, gaining some speed, as he continues going down the hill. Alan's a steady going sixteen year old kid, and his best friend, Tony Zimmzy, isn't so steady going. As Tony reaches the hill, he pushes all his weight down on his right foot, and causes the board to come to a halt after skidding a few metres, and the sun beaming down from the usually cloudy sky reflects off of a metal door handle to a Remington, as Tony bends over slightly and picks up his board, then walks over to it, with an almost hungry look in his eyes. Alan: (Stops and turns around) Where the hell did he run off to now? At that moment, a teal-coloured Remington speeds around the corner, sharply coming to a stop, and the door opens, as Alan turns his attention to it. Tony: Get in, it's quicker. Alan: You've gotta stop doin' this sh*t. One day, they'll catch you, and your parents will kick you out and you can't keep crashing on my floor. Tony: Ain't no one gonna find out about this, unless you snitch on me. One day your mouth will get you into sh*t. Alan: (Hops into the back of the Remington) What're you gonna do with it? Tony: There's a race tonight, a big one. I'll race with it, win some cash, then dump it. Alan: Can I finally come to one of these race meets that you're always going to? I've been practicing on my driving skills, and I've gotten better. Tony: Well...I dunno, you'll need a car. Alan: How about this one? Tony: Well...I suppose I could always 'borrow' my dad's Taxi. I'm sure it'd do for a race. Alan: Great! Let me drive back to school in this so I can get Carly to notice me! Tony: (Shifts over into the passenger seat as Alan climbs over into the drivers seat) Alright, but I dunno why you wanna impress her so bad. She's a whore. She'll screw you if you weren't such a pussy. Alan: Because I've loved her since primary school, now how do I reverse again... Tony: Jeez... Alan accidently shifts the gearstick into first gear and stalls the car, as Tony extends his left hand and pulls back on it, putting it into reverse, as Alan checks his mirrors then reverses, losing pull of the car, and lightly hitting a parked Admiral, causing the tail-light to burst and glass to cover the smooth road below. Tony: Come on, you said you'd been practicing. Alan: I lied... Tony: You really want in on this race? Alan: More than anything in the world right now... Tony: Even more than a blowjob from Carly?... Alan: (Looks at Tony, pondering the thought for a moment) ...Yes. Tony: Alright, we'll skip the rest of school today. It's time I gave you the crash-course on racing, without the crash part, Tony Zimmzy style. May 26TH 1995: London, England [5.56pm] Alan approaches his scratched up purple front door, as a stray cat lay dead next to the plant pot beside it. Tony follows shortly behind Alan and catches up, as Alan rummages through his pockets looking for his keys. Tony stops behind Alan and looks down at the mouldy-brown coloured cat, as flies begin gathering around it. Tony: Man, you're gonna get AIDs with this sh*t laying around your house all the time. Don't your parents ever clean up? Alan: You know my parents are always out. Tony: Well, if you wanna impress Carly, you should host a party or something. Alan finds his key and puts it into the lock, as he turns the key, the key breaks off in the lock. Tony laughs and bends down and picks up the dead cat by it's tail, and begins swinging it around over his head, as Alan ducks down. Alan: Stop it already! I can't take the smell anymore! Tony launches the cat into the air at a slight angle, and it's rotting carcas rebounds off of a top window, cracking it slightly, as the cat's guts begin raining down on Alan. Alan: Dude! Tony: I was expecting the window to smash... Tony looks up at the cat, which is now stuck on the window like putty, then walks over to a window on the ground level and pulls out a crowbar from the back pocket of his grey khaki shorts, and starts jimmying the window until it breaks open. Alan: You always carry around a crowbar? Tony: Who doesn't? Alan: Well way to go, now I've got a broken door, my bedroom window is cracked with a dead cat stuck to-- Tony: (Jumps onto the open window paine) Come on, you can use the winnings from tonights race to pay for it all. Across the street, a man who is unloading a television from the back of a moving truck notices Tony & Alan jump through the window, and he puts the television down. Man: Georgia, honey, call the police. We've got a couple of kids breaking into a house across the street! I thought this was a nice neighborhood, god damnit. Tony switches the light on, as Alan begins changing into a new shirt. Tony: (Looks up at the clock which is stationary on 9.07am) Do you have a clock in here that works? The race is at seven sharp, and we've gotta get back to my place. Alan: You know I always come home to check for messages from my parents or brother. Tony: Your brother isn't coming back, Alan. It's been two years, just let it go already. Besides, your brother is an asshole. Alan: Come on, don't say that sh*t. He never liked you because you got to that Sabre before he could. Tony: Best day of my life, pocketing twenty grand on that thing. Check your machine, see zero messages, then lets go! Alan: (Walks over to the machine and sees a big red flashing '1') There's a new message here... Tony: Can't you just check it later? It's probaly nothing. Alan: (Presses play and hears nothing for a few moments) This is important, I can feel it! Voice (OS): Tired of debts? Bills! Bills! Bills! Want to finance your home and feel secure about your future!? then call-- Alan presses stop and follows Tony through to the small hallway, as Tony starts laughing. Tony: That was the most important call you'll ever get! Alan: Shut it. I'ma go grab a jacket and we'll get outta here. Alan runs upstairs as Tony stands at the foot of the stairs with his hands in his pockets, as he turns his head to the left and sees some bright flashing lights outside, coming in from the narrow peephole in the door. Tony takes his hands out of his pockets and walks over to it, and looks through to see two police officers stepping out of the car and walking towards the door. They stop by the door then knock on it, as Tony waits a moment, then opens it up. Tony: (Looks them both over. One is middle aged and balding, and the other is a young mexican man) Uhh..is there a problem, gentlemen? Officer: We got reports of a break in from some neighbors. Do you have proof that you're the owner of this address? Tony: No, but my friend lives here. He's upstairs... Want me to shout up to him or sumin'? Officer: Please, go ahead Tony: (Turns around and shouts) Hey, Alan, some cops here wanna talk to ya'! Alan comes down the stairs in a black suit jacket and loosens up his shirt collar. Alan: Yes? Officer: We recieved word of a B 'n E at this residence. Do you have proof of your identity, or anything that can prove otherwise? Alan: (Reaches into his trousers back pocket and pulls out his wallet and hands it to the main officer) My ID is in the back somewhere. The officer has a quick look through and finds it, and holds it up and squints his eyes, looking it over. Officer: Alright, everything seems to be in order here. Sorry to of wasted your time. Alan: No problemo, officers. You're just doing your jobs afterall. The officers walk back down the path and one comes over from the squad car as the other two continue walking. Officer #2: Hey, guys... The two officers stop. Officer #2: Didn't this Remington come up stolen a little while ago? Officer #3: It did! The officers look back at Alan & Tony, then start walking back to them, picking their pace up with each step, as Alan looks to Tony, not knowing what to do. Tony grabs the door and slams it shut just as the officers get near to it. The impact of the door slamming causes the top window to crack further, and the dead cat to fall and land on the ground below, just as an officer puts his foot down and steps on it, losing his balance. Officer #3: Whoa! f*ck! The other two officers try to grab his arms as he slips backwards and lands on his neck, causing a bone chilling crack and his body goes limp. Officer #2: Teddy!? The officers bend down and check his pulse to find he's dead. Officer: Good lord almighty! The officers stand back up and start kicking the door simutainiously until it splits and snaps off the hinges. They run through the house and see the back door is wide open. Officer #2: (Talking into walkie) Requesting back-up! Officer dead! Tony and Alan run through a parking lot and climb on top of a set of garages and run back over to the entrance of Alan's house and jump off the garages, both rolling onto their backs and straight back to their feet as they land and they run over to the Remington, as one of the cops come back. Alan gets into the drivers seat as Tony jumps in the back. Tony: Are you sure that was the greatest idea in the world!? Alan: No! But it's too late! Officer: (Bends down to one knee and grabs his gun from his belt and aims it at the Remington) Freeze! Alan starts it up and puts his foot down as he accelerates hard, almost causing the Remington to stall and he speeds towards the officer and hits him as he rebounds off the bumper and hits a wall, as Alan reverses slightly, then puts it back into first-gear and drives foward, crushing the officer between the car and the wall Tony: Are you nuts!? You just killed a cop! Alan: No! I just mamed him! Alan reverses the car, revealing the officers head has been split from his torso, and rolls along the floor, coming to a stop as it hits the curb. Alan: Holy sh*t! I just killed him! Tony: Come on, let's get outta here! Alan: But where do I go... Tony: How about anywhere but here, does that sound good!? Alan reverses the car and speeds away, as the other officer comes outside to see them getting away, and fires random shots at the car to no avail. Tony: Come on, forget about it. You know how many cops are killed in this place? Alan: But you hear about all these psychos that kill cops in the news all the time, and now I'm one of them! Tony: Nothing will come of it... Oh wait, we left them right outside of your house...and we left one alive. Alan: We ain't gonna... Tony: Do we have a choice!? Or would you rather do thirty five to life in a place like Hell f*ckin' Mary's prison!? Alan sharply puts the handbrake on and looks in the rear-view mirror with sheer desperation in his eyes, looking down at Tony, who nods his head and Alan begins reversing and lets out a sigh. May 26TH 1995: London, England [7.31pm] Alan is sitting on the maroon coloured leather couch in his house, listening to 'Digging the Grave' by Faith No More on the radio, with a blank stare on his face, as the sound of a chainsaw blacks out all other sound around him. He closes his eyes, trying to picture himself in another place, as Tony comes through to the living room with a bloody chainsaw in hand, wearing a yellow, blood-stained apron and plastic gloves. Tony: Cut all three of 'em up. Where should we dump 'em? Alan: This is so f*cked up. I don't know. Just...bury 'em in the backyard or something. I don't care. Tony's cellphone rings as he reaches into his khaki's and pulls out a phone the size of a brick and puts it to his ear and presses answer. Tony: Yeah? Voice (OS): Oi! Usually you're here by now. Tony: Something else came up. Voice (OS): That's a shame. The price went up as there are alot more racers showin' up. Tony: How much are we looking at now? Five? Six tops? Voice (OS): Fifteen. Cold 'ard cash, mate. Tony: You're kiddin' me, fifteen!?... Alright, alright. I'm on my way, don't worry about it. I'll get the cash. Tony hangs the phone up and puts the chainshaw on the ground and starts untying his apron strings as Alan snaps out of his current state of mind and stands up. Alan: Where are you going? Tony: Racing. Prize is up to fifteen thousand. I know we've got sh*t here to take care of, but, dude, fifteen thousand... Alan: Wait, let me come with you. We make sure we win that cash, and I'm gonna go live at a motel for a few months, let this sh*t die down. Tony: For starters, there's no way I'm gonna lose, and you won't need to live in some sh*tty motel, just come stay with me. My parents actually like you, and won't mind. Tony takes the plastic gloves off and goes out into the cramped hallway as Alan follows. Alan: Where's the race point? Tony: It's at the swamp in Greenwood. I'll meet you there, be quick though. Tony runs out of the house and picks up his speed and continues running away in the distance, where the sun begins setting behind some pitch black clouds. May 26TH 1995: London, England [7.55pm] Alan pulls the Remington around the tight bend into Greenwood and comes to a slow stop, as a large chinese man approaches him and knocks on the window, as Alan begins rolling it down. Man: Invite only, buddy. Let's see your red card. Tony swerves round the tight bend in a large black Taxi and tries to maintain the weight of the car as he crashes into the large chinese man, who is sent flying through the air. Alan: (Looks over at Tony) What the f*ck man! Tony: Umm... Some men come over as Tony gets out of the Taxi, and Alan gets out of the Remington. Tony runs over to the large chinese man and checks his pulse. Tony: He's alive, that's good... Man: (Taps Tony on the shoulder) You cut it a little fine, but you're here. (Looks at Alan) Who's the square? Tony: My friend. He's good for the race, Benny. Benny: Alright, you two better set up. This is a sixty strong race tonight. Tony: Alright, you might wanna take him somewhere...away from me, before he wakes up... Benny: Yeah, probaly a good idea... Tony and Alan get back into their cars, and pull further down the road, where drivers are talking to each other, and Tony gets back out of the cab and walks over to a female driver who is smoking a cigarette and talking to a man in a zipped up, black leather jacket, wearing baggy dark green trousers, and white low-top shoes, with short dark brown hair, messy, with a quiff at the front, much like Tony's, along with light sideburns reaching the bottom of his ears, and heavy stubble under his nose and on his chin. Tony: Hey, Brianna. Thought you were going legit. Brianna: (Turns around and hugs Tony) And I thought you weren't coming. Tony: (Looks at the man) Who's your friend? I've never seen him here before. Brianna: Him and his girlfriend came from Carcer City for a few races out here. Tony: Carcer City? America? Pretty far away... You got a name? The man says nothing and turns around and walks away back to his car. Brianna: He didn't say anything to me, either. His girlfriend did all the talking. She's around here somewhere. (Looking around) Tony: Forget it. It's time to race anyway. G'luck. Tony runs back over to the black cab and gets in as Alan steps back into the Remington, as all the other drivers begin doing the same, and a blonde haired woman steps onto the classic black and white checkered starting line and raises her hands, and drops them, as two shotguns are fired into the air at the same time, and all the cars take off. TonyZimmzy
Curious..anbody still reading this? If so, comment! Come on! Don't let it die! It's come so far, and I want it to go for a long time! --- Chapter 59: Downward SpiralMay 26TH 1995: London, England [8.26pm] Tony is standing outside of his father's black cab, which is completly totaled. Half of it is wrapped around a post, and the other half is at a 90 degree angle, while Tony stands shaking his head and more cars speed by him. Tony sees Alan's Remington slowly coming to a stop near him with grass covering the majority of the windscreen and bumper. Alan stops it and gets out and walks over to Tony. Alan: ...What happened? Tony: Some f*ckin' red Banshee speeds 'round the corner cutting me off completly. (Kicks the broken cab) f*ck sake, I'm screwed. Sirens are heard in the distance as Alan and Tony look nervously at each other. Tony: See you at school tomorrow!? Alan: Alright! Tony and Alan run off in seperate directions, as cops start ramming into more cars speeding by. May 27TH 1995: London, England [12.15pm] Tony and Alan are sitting in the back of Science class, trying to figure out what went wrong in their lives yesterday. The teacher notices both of them drifting off into space and walks to the back of the class with her cane and slams it on their desk, abruptly causing them to snap back to reality. The bell then rings, and people start collecting their bags. A blonde girl sitting with a group of her friends starts laughing and looking at Alan then walks over to him. Alan: (Looks up at her) What do you want, Carly? Carly: Well-- Alan: Forget it. I can't be dealing with this right now. Alan walks away as Tony looks at a stunned Carly then starts following him as they exit the class room and start walking towards the caféteria. Tony: What the hell was that all about!? You were in there, dude. Alan: (Stops and grabs Tony by the neck and shoves him into the wall, looking at him, dead in his warm brown eyes) Yesterday you killed three cops and buried them in my back f*cking yard, then completly trashed your dad's cab. You really think I want to be sniffing tail right now!? Tony: (Shoves Alan off of him, un-ruffling his purple blazer and white button-up shirt and they continue walking) Alright, sorry... The P.A. Announcment system begins crackling, then a deep voice comes through and a man clears his throat to begin a speech, echoing through the plain cream-coloured hallways. Voice (OS): Alan Wood, could I please see you in my office right away. This is important. Alan looks at Tony as the static stops, and Tony shrugs his shoulders and gives him a goofy grin. Alan shakes his head and starts running down the hall and past the caféteria and soon reaches the Principal's office. He slows his pace down and straightens his purple and black uniform top out then enters. He nervously looks at two police officers and the Principal, all of whom are standing in a dimly-lit, cramped brown room. The only brief light coming through the half broken blindes covering the windows. Principal: Alan, take a seat. I'll leave you gentlemen to it. The Principal takes his leave and closes the door behind him. Alan sits on a stale teal coloured chair as both officers smile at him and lean against the desk. Officer: Son, would you like some water? Alan: Umm...no... Listen, why am I here? I'm pretty hungry and it's lunch... Officer: (Takes the smile from his face and takes a more serious tone) Son, I've got some pretty grim news. We found two bodies in the Grand River this morning. We took them over to the lab and concluded that they were murdered... Alan: ...And what does this have to do with me? (Nervously chuckles and twiddles his thumbs, uncertain of wether to say what he's thinking. Will they think he's just kidding, or will they see this as an act of guilt? He can't hold it in any longer. His knees tremble as he opens his mouth) ...Am I being acused of murder or something? Officer: No. Son, they were your parents. May 27TH 1995: London, England [3.39pm] Alan is laying on his couch with his eyes wide open, staring at the answering machine with the red '0' blinking rapidly. A single tear runs down from his left eye and onto the couch, when the taped up door is opened up. Tony walks into the living room and sees Alan laying down on the couch and playfully throws his bag on top of him. Tony: So where'd you run off to? I didn't see you at lunch, and Carly was askin' about you. (Walks into the kitchen and walks over to the large olive fridge and unpacks some bread and lays the pieces on the counter and grabs a knife) I never knew she was so into you. She told me she jills over you, seriously. (Grabs the block of butter on a wooden tray and throws some on the bread and starts smoothing it down with the edge of the knife) Hey, where's the cheese at? You out again? Tony awaits an answer but soon finds the cheese at the bottom of the fridge and takes it out and finishes making a cheese sandwhich. He starts eating it, leaving the mess all over the kitchen then walks into the living room. Tony: (Throws half the cheese sandwhich at Alan) Eat up. Looks like it's all you've got in your house at the moment... (Looks at Alan) The f*ck is the matter with you? The phone begins ringing and Tony looks at it, then back at Alan. He rolls his eyes and picks the phone up and answers it, still stuffing his mouth with his lunch. Tony: (Takes a bite of the cheese sandwhich) Whfmut? A loud female voice bellows on the other end of the line; distorting the sound. Voice (OS): Boy! Is that any way to talk to your Aunt Esta!? Eating with your mouth full!? And on the phone, too! Tony: (Swallows the sandwhich) Aunt Esta? Who the f*ck are you? Esta (OS): (Screaming) So this is how my brother raised you!? A foul-mouthed little bastard!? You'd better apologize right now! Tony: I think you've got the wrong number, bitch. Esta (OS): I'm Esta. Esta Wood. Your auntie! Tony: Wood? Hmph, guess you are Alan's relative afterall. I'll put him on. (Turns and looks at Alan and sees him trying to take a bite of the cheese sandwhich) Err, he's a little...messed up right now. You wanna call back later? Esta (OS): Of course he's messed up, you moron. His parents are dead, what would you be doing!? Tony: (Laughs) What? Alan's parents ain't dead... (Looks at Alan) Oh sh*t... (Walks over to Alan and puts the phone into his hand and walks away, saying nothing) Alan: (Slowly puts the phone to his ear) Y..yeah? Esta (OS): Alan? Alan: Who is this? (Slowly begins sitting up) Esta (OS): I'm your Aunt Esta. I live in San Andreas across the pond. I'm your father's older sister, surely he's mentioned me or there have been photos... Alan: Not really. My dad never showed me any photos. Esta (OS): Listen; I know you're not alright, but what are you doing right now? Alan: Specificly? Laying in a cheese sandwhich. Esta (OS): Good lord. Alright, it's clear what needs to be done here. You're going to come and live with me! Alan: (Sits up fully, stroking the crumbs from the bread from his shirt and trousers) Live with you? In...where? Esta (OS): San Andreas. It's a relativly small place in America consisting of three states. Alan: Las Venturas? Esta (OS): That's right! You know, you ain't as dumb as your father made you out to be...you atleast know some places of the world. Alan: So you want me to come and live in Las Venturas? With you?... Esta (OS): Well, not Las Venturas. I live in Los Santos with my babies. You remember Jake, surely? You and him when you were kids, oh you were inseperable. Alan: ...Can't recall, no. Esta (OS): Well you ain't staying in England all by yourself. I'll drag you over here kicking and screaming if I have to. It'll be fine, you can enrole at your cousin's school. He's only a year younger than you, and I'm sure you'll be able to make some new friends. And I bet the ladies will enjoy a new face, if you catch my drift. Alan: (Sighs) I guess I don't have many options right now. How do I go about getting there? Esta (OS): I can put through a plane ticket on credit card and you sign for it. You can come over as early as tomorrow! Alan: Alright. Where abouts do you live exactly? And are there many cabs over there? Esta (OS): Cab? The hell's a cab? A taxi? Cos yeah, we got plenty. I live at 140 Grove Street. See you soon, nephew. The line goes dead and Alan throws the phone on the floor and stands up as Tony comes back into the room, finishing up his cheese sandwhich. Tony: She sounded crazy. What did she want? Alan: I'm going to live with her... Tony: Oh, alright. Where abouts in London does she live? Alan: She doesn't... May 28TH 1995: Los Santos, San Andreas [10.08pm] Alan is resting his eyes on the plane as it starts slowing it's pace and slightly lowering to the Airport below. The announcments and thank you's are being played over the intercom as Alan takes his headphones off and rubs his eyes and yawns. He looks at the two sleeping people to the left and right of him and then buckles his seatbelt. Alan: "Can't believe I'm starting a completly new life in a completly new place. And I sure as hell can't believe my mum 'n dad were killed. How long ago? Why? I still can't wrap my head around it. The only person who kept me even slightly sane at times got arrested last night. Seems his dad really did mean it when he said he'd press charges if he kept screwing up." The plane lands and soon comes to a stop at Los Santos International. Alan unstraps the rusty seatbelt as flight attendants come and check on people, waking them up as they go. Alan shuffles past the two people to his right and grabs his light green bag from the overhead compartment and starts walking towards the front exit as the doors open. He walks off the plane and is right away coughing at the foul air, and smog like substance in the orange night sky. He walks down the stairs and through the Airport, looking around at all the different people going about their business. He sees a bunch of gangsters in purple jumpsuits, purple shorts and white baggy t-shirts and he laughs to himself. Alan: "What do these guys think they are? This place is already ridiculous..." Alan goes through the entrance door and sees a Taxi sitting right infront of him, when a large black man in a green doorag and toothpick in his mouth grabs him by the arm. Man: Spare a dolla', kid? Alan: (Pulls away) Sorry, I'm pretty broke. Man: That wasn't a question, nigguh'. Alan quickly pulls away and runs over to the Taxi when a man and woman get there before him and open the back door. Alan: (Shoves the woman out the way) Hey! I got here first, go get your own Taxi. The man in a business suit and tie walks over to him and gets up into his face, breathing heavily into Alan's dark green eyes, with Alan looking up slightly to him. Man: You got a problem you little idiot? Alan: I'm not having the best day, so would you kindly f*ck off!? (Shoves past him and grabs the handle of the Taxi door) The man grabs Alan by the arm and swings him around and throws a punch at him. Alan instinctivly dodges it and throws a back hand shot to the mans nose, shattering the bridge causing blood to spray all over his own arm. Alan shoves him back and throws a kick to the mans knee, instantly breaking it and causing him to drop down to the floor on both knees, screaming in pure agony as the woman screams in terror. Alan spins around and throws a roundhouse kick to the mans head, causing him to fall stomach first into the ground and pass out. The woman runs over to him, crying, as the Taxi quickly speeds off. She bends down and carresses his hair, screaming at Alan, who doesn't seem to show any remorse, and the large black man leaning on the wall starts cracking up. Man: Kid, that was sum' Bruce Lee bullsh*t right ther' Alan: (Steps up to him, only reaching his large, perfectly toned chest) You still want that dolla, big man? Man: Ease up, Alan. Damn! Alan: (Steps back) How do you know my-- Man: Name's Gary Taylor, GT fo' short. Yo auntie sent me ta' pick you up. Description fits, 'n I figured I'd see if you were a pussy busta' givin' out free dolla's. Alan: I don't find that funny. GT: Haha, whatever little man. C'mon, I'll give you that ride inta' Grove Street. Gotta warn you though; we din't kno' you was white. Alan: Huh? What does that mean? GT leads Alan over to his parked dark green Feltzer and opens the door. GT: (Climbs inside the Feltzer, laughing) It means yo' auntie, cousin, and the rest of Grove Street are black, homie. Alan: (Gets into the Feltzer) You're all black? Wait, how is my Aunt black? My dad was white and she was his older sister. GT: (Starts it up and speeds away) sh*t, iunno son. That's sumin' you need to ask her yo'self. Sit back and we'll be ther' soon. Check tha' sites out as we go, you might see something you like. Ya' never kno'. May 28TH 1995: Los Santos, San Andreas [11.02pm] The dark green Feltzer pulls through the all too familiar cul-de-sac and through to the slightly changed Grove Street. A cleaner Grove Street. GT pulls it to a sharp halt, throwing Alan into the dashboard, as Alan looks up at him. GT begins laughing and opens his door, as does Alan on the other side and they both step out. Alan: Remind me to never step into a car with you again. GT: Fair game. (Laughs) Anyway, I'm over here at 128. (Walks over to Ryder's old house and stands infront of it for a moment) Alan: ...Yeah, and where am I then? GT: Oh right, yeah. GT leads Alan across the street, just below the bridge to the right, terribly loud rap music coming from the house next door. GT: This is you. (Points to the house next door) Some wannabe gangster rapper lives next door to you in 138...just a fair warning. (Slaps Alan on the back) See ya' later. Alan nods a goodbye as GT runs across Grove Street and over to his house. Alan looks at the house; cleaner than most of the houses in Grove Street. He looks around, taking in the sights before going inside. One house catches his eye next to GT's place across the alley. The house seems to shimmer against the moon; CJ's old house. Fixed up and extended, with another entire story on top of it. Alan opens the rusty silver gate and closes it behind him as he walks up to his Aunt's house and bangs on the door with his clenched fist. After a few moments, a large African-American woman in an orange doorag and white tanktop opens the door, extending her all too large arms, inviting Alan into her for a hug. Alan proceeds and hugs her, as she clenches him tight. Esta: How was the flight over, hon? Alan: (Pulls away from her) It was alright. Got a ride from GT. Esta: Ah yeah, Gary. Good boy. Asked him to pick you up, knew he wouldn't let me down. Come in, please, come in. Esta moves out the way and Alan walks through the small cramped hallway, watching two black boys running around the hallway with model airplanes; making the sounds of engines with their lips as they hold them high into the air. One is wearing all green, while one is wearing casual, normal clothes. They both stop when they see Alan. Alan: ...Hi. Chris: Whattup, gangsta? Alan looks down at the kid dressed in all green, holding back the laughter inside of him from what he just heard escape his shrill high pitched young voice. His lip quivers as he clears his throat, moving on. Alan: And who might you two be? Chris: I'm Chris, nigguh! I'm gonna be a part of Grove Street Families, yo! Alan's face, now turning bright red, can't hold the laughter in anymore. He bursts out laughing as Esta laughs with him. Chris starts punching Alan in the arms and legs. Chris: What's so funny, yo!? I swear it to yo ass! Shoot you in cold blood! Esta: Boy has a wild imagination, that's for sure. Your cousin is upstairs, you should go and say hello before sleeping. You've got a big day ahead of you tomorrow. Alan: Huh? I've got school already? Esta: No, but you've gotta enroll. Alan moves past the two boys and walks up the green carpeted staircase, reaching a cramped hallway and opening a door, revealing the bathroom. He closes the door and opens another, seeing a young skinny black kid of 15 climbing out the window of his small room. The kid drops out the window before Alan has a chance to speak. Alan drops his bag and walks over to the window and looks out, as his cousin, Jake, runs through the alley next to GT's house. Alan walks over to one of the beds in the room and sits on it, uncomfortably getting a feel of the matress as he lays down and closes his eyes. TonyZimmzy
TonyZimmzy coughs and blushes Chapter 60: Wrong Side Of The TracksMay 29TH 1995: Los Santos, San Andreas [7:58am] The raging sunlight pours through the broken and cracked window of Jake's room, where Alan lays face down on top of his cousin's bed, completly unconcious. The hair on the back of his neck stands up, singing and burning from the rays of sunshine coming into the room, dust dancing around the room as Jake opens the door up, throwing his lit cigarette at Alan, abruptly waking him up. Alan: (Jumps up from the bed, looking around) What the-- Jake: What the hell you doin' on my bed? Alan: Your bed? (Looks around the room, rubbing the sores under his eyes) Jake: Alan, right? C'mon, we gonna be late for your induction bullsh*t. Let's bounce. Jake picks up a stale piece of gum from his counter and tosses it into his mouth and walks out the room, as Alan slowly follows him. They walk downstairs, where Chris and Joe are sitting at the small white coffee table in the living room, as Esta hands Jake and Alan each two dollars. Esta: That should cover you some lunch. Have a nice day at school. Alan can't seem to focus and can't spit a 'thank you' out, so he just waves, and follows Jake out the front door. He shields his eyes from the unfamiliar blazing sunshine, and Jake hands him a pair of sunglasses and he puts them on. Alan: Thanks... Hey, where did you go last night? Jake: Don' worry 'bout it. 'Chu'll find out later. GT pulls up next to both Jake and Alan and honks the horn a few times, laughing inside of his Lowrider. GT: Hop in, I'll give you a ride on tha' way ta' work. Jake grips ahold of the door and springs into the air and over the top of the car, landing in the backseat, perfectly, as Alan casually opens the door, gets in, and closes it. GT reverses and pulls away. GT: So how you adjusting? Jake: Ye' I'm-- GT: You idiot, I was talkin' to ya' cousin. Alan: (Looks in the dashboard mirror, seeing GT's piercing stare back at his) Oh, err, yeah. Yeah I'm alright. Is it always this hot out here? Jake: San Andreas, baby; sun and fun twenny-fo-seven! GT laughs and passes both Alan and Jake each a can of sprunk. He continues driving, silence engulfing the entire car as Alan sweats desperatly from the forehead. GT stops outside of a large building, schoolkids entering into it in the masses. GT: I'm workin' late today, so you two are gonna have ta' make your own way home. Jake: No problemo, GT. Jake slaps palms with the big man, as Alan does the same, although feeling out of place with the gesture. They both exit the Lowrider and walk along the broken street tiles and up the stairs, entering the school. Jake: See you after yo' induction sh*t. Jake slaps Alan on the back and runs down the hall, as the bell tolls, and Alan is soon the only student left in a deserted hallway. He looks around and sighs. May 29TH 1995: Los Santos, San Andreas [10:10am] Alan sits, figiting on a broken chair dead in the center of a dark room; he feels as if he's been arrested and is under-suspicion for double homicide. Beads of sweat drop from his forehead as he gulps hard; he can't adjust to the climate shift from England to Los Santos. A man with horse-shoe balding hair enters into the office and smiles politly at Alan before sitting behind his desk and straightening his pale yellow tie. Alan: Principal Sanders, I'm not feeling too great... Principal: You certainly don't look it either. You're as pale as a ghost, son. (He leans back in his chair, making it crack and creek and he scoffs) Oh wait, you're an english f*cker, ain't'cha? (Tosses a folder to Alan) One wrong move, limey, and you're gone. Get the f*ck out of my office before you're picking the skin of my fists out of your teeth for weeks. Alan looks on in disbelief, before finally standing up, leaving a sweat patch covering his chair. He quickly exits the room and opens the folder up and checks for his first class: Science. He breathes a sigh of relief to be out of there, and he begins running down the hall momentarially before collapsing, out of breath and dehydrated. He passes out instantly. May 29TH 1995: Los Santos, San Andreas [3:46pm] Alan's eyes jolt open; the veins are shot, he swallows hard to what feels like a razor blade in his throat. He's in the backseat of a car. He looks to his right and sees Jake laughing, and looks to his left to see a random black kid in a green jersey. Alan: What happened? Where am I? Alan gasps for air, as Jake stops laughing and waves his hands infront of his eyes. Jake: Tha' f*ck do you mean 'where are you?' Alan: I remember running down the halls... (Swallows hard and wipes the sweat from his eyelids) and that's all I remember. Jake: You took yo classes, we just got outta school. We ate lunch together. sh*t, you trippin'. Alan: But... Jake hands Alan a pistol. Alan's face tells the story: he's stunned and outraged. Alan: Where'd you get this!? (Throws it back at Jake, who jumps around in his seat, as if a landmine was beneath him) Jake: Whoa! sh*t! (Picks the gun up) Careful with that sh*t, 'cuz. It's loaded. 'Ay, 'Fro, fat nigga, park up here right quick. We're gonna show my 'cuz how this is done. The driver, nicknamed 'Fro' because of his large blonde afro brings his Glendale '79 to a halt, just outside of Glen Park. Alan watches Jake's eyes shifting through the black tinted windows. Jake's eyes settle down when he sees a Balla roll through, unarmed, and gangless. Jake turns around and smirks, giving Alan a nod of aproval, as 'Fro rolls down the back window. Jake: (Pokes the pistol out the window, holding it tightly gripped with both hands, and begins firing shots at the Balla) Eat this you mother f*ckin' f*cker! Haha! Alan: (Grabs Jake's arms and torques them into dropping the pistol, as Jake screams in pain) Are you nuts!? Jake: (Screams, elbowing Alan in the side of the head) f*ck, 'cuz! (Watches the Balla fall down, only to get back to his feet again, with blood seeping through his white shirt. He sees him begin running) sh*t! He's goin'a get more boys! 'Fro: (Starts hyperventilating) Jake! f*ck! I can't die to a group'o Ballas! I'm just fourteen! Jake: (Starts furiously kicking the back of 'Fro's seat in-rhythem with each thrusting kick) Shut, the, f*ck, up, you, obese, mother, f*cker! (Stops kicking, and 'Fro stops screaming) Ain' nobody dying! Start driving! (Kicks his seat once more) 'Fro takes the handbrake off and puts his foot on the gas pedal and burns round the corner at a moderate speed, heading towards the hospital. Alan: I ain't feeling too hot... 'Fro: Don't throw up in my dad's car! He'll have my ass fo' breakfast man, please! Jake: (Puts his fingers to his lips) Everyone shut tha' f*ck up for one secon', please... The car goes silent, as 'Fro takes a left turn. Two cars block the road off upahead. 'Fro: (Squeels) Oh God! Jake: f*ck! You on yo' own! (Squeezes out the open window, only to be pulled back inside by Alan) Hell nawh! I'm outta here! Alan: This is your f*cking mess! What have you gotten me into!? A single bullet shatters the back window, plastering the skull of the young black kid in a green jersey to the left of Alan. He slumps on to Alan's lap. 'Fro: Adno! sh*t! Jake: Aww f*ck, his brains'a everywhere. sh*t. (Starts wiping his face and ducks down) Alan gulps and feels a bead of sweat enter the vision of his right eye, before passing out. May 29TH 1995: Los Santos, San Andreas [5:18pm] Awake. His eyes burst open to radiants of sunshine, face down with his cheek pressing against the gravel in the cul-de-sac of the Grove. Alan pushes his hands onto the burning ground and pushes himself up; a pool of sweat huddles around where his face was. He looks over at Jake, drinking a beer and cheering with other Grove members. Jake: (Looks down at Alan) 'Ay, careful next time. Clumsy motha' raper. All you doin' is fallin' over. Alan: We're all alive. Jake: (Stands up, helping Alan up) Well sh*t, sure we're alive. 'Part from Adno. Alan: It wasn't a dream then? We were being chased... I blacked out. Jake: (Laughs) You blacked out!? f*ck off! You went straight psycho on those punk-asses. I've known cold blooded killas, but'chu, 'chu sumin else. Alan: (Gets a beer tossed to him by a Grove member) I don't... Jake: Fo'get it. We'll hit up another spot next week. You earned yo halo and wings, you deserve a rest. Six Ballas with a pistol, un-f*ckin-believable. Jake laughs and shakes his head in disbelief as he starts walking towards Grove street. Alan: (Rubs his eyes and takes a swig of the beer and shrugs it off) Whatever. I dunno how I got outta that, but I'm not getting into it again. (Starts running after Jake) May 29TH 1995: Portland Harbor, Liberty City [7:03pm] Salvatore Leone, the single strongest figure-head of organized crime in the city, circles around a large oval desk. His face is boiling with rage as mafioso and kin begin entering one by one, respectivly dressed in all black suits, white shirts, black ties. Some in black coats and grey scalfs from the drizzle outside. Salvatore: Gentlemen, have a seat. Almost too calmly stated, the mafioso look at Joey Leone, son of the don, knowing all hell's about to break loose. Salvatore: (Awaits every member to take a seat before slamming his fist into the table) Three years him and his 'family' have been making a mockery of us. It's time for drastic measures to be taken. Salvatore looks at his son, who hands him a cellphone, keeping his head down into his knees, too ashamed to look at his own father. Salvatore: It's time to call him out of hiding, seeing as my own son was unable to infiltrate a simple snatch and hit. Joey sighs as the mafia syndicate avoid eye contact. Salvatore: I'm entrusting four people to bring him to me, alive, of course, and I'm entrusting two people to bring his brother to justice. The men I have hand-selected are as follows... Salvatore hovers around his chair, pressed against the stale grey wall of the office before belting out a list of names, to of which each mafioso and caporegime must stand and be awarded the honor of the Don's trust. He says each name with a great deal of emphasism and respect, and six men are now standing. Salvatore: Go pack. It's going to be some flight. The brother's are coming in next week; you know where to be, right? The six men each nod and begin leaving the office, not even collecting their coats. A young man with slick back brown hair and a brown suit stands up. Salvatore: And what can I do for you, Lucky? Lucky: Mr. Leone, I request to go in with my mentor, Mr. Toni. Salvatore: (Chuckles) You and Toni? What makes you think I'll be calling Toni Cipriani out of hiding for one hit? I could of been talking about Tommy, or Michael. Lucky: Mr. Leone, I have all the respect in the world for you and Toni, but we both know... (Gulps) this isn't just a regular hit. Salvatore: (Slowly walks towards Vincenzo and pats him on the back) You've got a set on you, lemme tell you that. (Laughs, to which the room then laughs) Lucky: Please, Mr. Leone. One chance to prove my worth to your organization. Salvatore: This is your lucky day, Lucky. Why not? (Laughs and pats him on the back) I'll get you sorted out and I'll give Toni that call. Lucky: Mr. Leone, thank you, you wont regret this, I promise you! Lucky smiles and looks around the room before running out, as Joey frowns and stands up, slowly walking out of the office. Salvatore: Joseph. (Watches Joey stop at the door) Where are you going? Joey rolls his eyes and closes the door, walking back into the office. Salvatore: I've got a special job for you, and I'm sure you can't screw this one up, son.

TonyZimmzy
Thanks for the reply. Glad to see someone's still interested in the story. --- --- --- Chapter 61: Hitting EmpireMay 30TH 1995: Los Santos, San Andreas [4.14pm] A grey Bandito '88 rolls up the drive-way of a two story house just on the corner of Seville Temple Drive, as it comes to a stop, two Grove street boys get out of the car and shut the doors, and they slowly walk foward towards the steps of the house. Loud rap music thumping from bass can be heard inside as they knock on the door. After a few moments, Jake opens it up and slaps palms with both the gangsters before inviting them in. Alan sits out of place inbetween a gangster recieving a lapdance from a stripper and a gangster hitting a bong. Alan: (Yells over to Jake) So what do we do for fun here? Jake: (Laughs) sh*t, 'chu doin' it, 'cuz. You ever get high before? (Walks over and grabs the bong from the gangster beside Alan before he has a chance to take another hit and presses it under Alan's chin) Alan: (Slowly pushes it aside) Nah, I ain't really into that. You guys got a gym down here? GT comes in from the next room over, holding a large packet of chips in one hand, and a large tub of salsa dip in the other, and a cigar in his mouth. GT: (Nods towards one of the strippers to come over) Gym? We've got a haggard gym 'round the corner from Binco. Alan: (Uncomfortably stands up, trying to avoid touching the stripper) I think I'll walk over there, see what's going on. GT: Well hold up 'lil man, I'll roll with ya. (Hands the chips and dip to the stripper and removes the cigar from his mouth) Come on, it ain't far. We can get you some new threads, too. (Laughs) This ain't England anymo', rich boy. Alan: (Looks at his plain black shirt and matching pants) Rich boy? These cost about fifteen quid. GT: (Laughs) C'mon, we'll get'chu suited, for real. Alan follows GT outside of the house, as they walk down the pathway and past the Bandito and around the corner, hearing trucks and tankers blocking out the rap music from inside of the house, which becomes lighter and lighter as they walk away. GT: So you lookin' to bulk up? Alan: Not really; I just need something to keep me occupied. I've been having headaches and blacking out. I don't even remember school for the past two days now. GT: That ain't blacking out, homie. Thas' lazy. Alan: Whatever you say. GT laughs and leads Alan to the gym. They arrive and cross the street and go inside the double-handled doors, as Alan looks the place over from top to bottom. Alan: It's, err, something else alright. (Watches a rat crawl from a busted, leaking pipe in the wall) GT: (Grabs one of the barbells on the floor) Think ya' could take this? Alan: (Takes it from GT, and feels his entire arm crash straight south towards the wooden floor below, dropping the weight and causing it to create a loud thud through the gym) sh*t, f*ck! How much did that thing weigh? GT: 'Bout 50 pounds. A couple of well-toned guys walk over to GT and Alan, giving Alan a filthy stare of something they've wiped from the bottom of their shoes on the sidewalk. Man: Whiteboy, you got a problem with us or what? You come into our gym, throw our f*ckin' weights around like toys all over the floor, and what? Alan looks at GT, who stares away; GT isn't getting involved in Alan's accident. Alan's knees begin to tremble at the sight of the two large men, and the deep, dark, almost evil voice the man barked at him with. Alan: I'm sorry. I don't want any trouble, please... The second man bends down, picking the barbell up with his left hand and putting it down onto the pad-protected mat, beside the now large hole in the wooden floor. Alan: (Looks down at the hole in the floor, as he sees GT's shadow cast further and further away. He looks up to see GT leaving him alone with the two men) GT, Gary? The man who lifted the barbell grabs Alan by the arms, locking him up and leaving his ribs exposed. The man who shouted at him before begins opening up onto Alan's ribcage, as Alan lets out a gasp for air after each close-handed blow to his mid-section. Twelve shots to his ribs, and the man lets him go. He falls to the floor onto his knees, coughing up blood and choking on his tongue lodged in the back of his throat. Man: (Looks over to GT) Sorry, Gary, kid had to be taught a lesson. GT takes solice in the apology, and shrugs it off. Man: (Looks back down at Alan and puts the sole of his shoe onto Alan's back, pushing him down to the floor) I expect the money for the damages tomorrow. Or we'll be damaging you again, homie. The men walk away from a downed, injured Alan, as GT walks back over to him and helps him up; putting one arm over his shoulder and dragging him outside. Alan: (Spits a mix of phlegm and blood onto the pavement below) Why didn't you stop 'em, man? GT: You had to take your beating, homie. You think I liked watching that sh*t? This place is about respect, and if you don't have that - and pride, you're nothing. Now c'mon, les' get'chu home. Alan: How am I supposed to pay for the damages? GT: sh*t...well, me, Jake and Nate were talking about a job later. Maybe we could include 'ju in it. If you're up for it, 'course. Alan keeps his head down, as GT carrys him along the street heading into Grove street. When they arrive, Chris and Joe, who are playing in the front yard notice him, and run in to get Esta. Alan: Thanks for the ride, (Laughs) means a lot to me. GT: Don't mention it. Seriously, don't. (Laughs) I'm meant to be some cold blooded gangster, and I'm helpin' some white boy who jus' got his ass whooped. Alan smiles and takes his arm from GT's shoulder and goes inside, as GT begins walking towards the alley by CJ's house. He stops for a moment and looks up at the Johnson house, looking in each window before moving on. May 30TH 1995: Los Santos, San Andreas [5.38pm] A young, skinny white guy is sitting next to Jake in a dark green button-up collar shirt and dark jeans; his long black hair tied back in a pony tail and some stubble around his chin and neck is visable on eye-contact with him. He's playing with a pistol in his hands as GT enters the room. Jake: sh*t, I dunno. Wha'dyou think, Nate? Nate: (Puts the pistol in his pocket and looks up at GT and nods) I say bring him aboard if he needs the money. Just make sure he doesn't spaz out about this; everything needs to stay calm, cool and collective through and through. Jake: Aiight, I'll go get him and bring him over. Jake shoots up from the brown leather chair and picks up half a dub and his keys and walks from the living room and out the wide-open front door of the house and out into the blazing heat on the corner of Jefferson. He sees a lowrider race in the distance and picks up his pace and runs across the street. He soon arrives at Grove street and hops over his low-cut gate and puts a key in the lock of his door and turns it, hearing a click and pushing it open and walking inside, where he sees from the open door of the kitchen Alan being treated by Esta. Jake: (Walks into the kitchen) 'Ay, you okay? Alan: (Takes a bag of ice from his cheek and rests it on his knee) Yeah, I'm alright now. Jake: C'mon, we gotta bounce. Nate and GT are both waiting. Esta: (Slams a cotton-tip along with her open-hand down into the table, causing Chris and Joe, who are both making a sandwhich to jump) Boy he's goin' no where! Alan: No, it's alright. I'm fine, really. Alan struggles to stand up, without expressing the pain on his face and smiles at Esta before following Jake back out the front door of the house. Jake: (Watches a lowrider pull up next to them, with GT in the driver's seat and Nate in the passenger's seat) If I'd known you were comin', I wudda got a lift. Psh, what an asshole. (Hops into the back of the lowrider and takes out his dub, as Alan goes around the side and climbs in) GT: How you feelin'? Alan: Seen better days. GT: Nate, Alan, and reversed. Nate gives a nod as Alan flicks his hand to say hello slightly, as GT pushes down on the gas pedal and pulls out of the Grove. He takes a left after reaching Binco and begins going along the train tracks, until they're close-guarded behind a wall. Nate: (Pulls out a mask and his pistol) You ever rob a gas station before? Alan: (Looks at Nate) That's the job!? (Looks at Jake) I thought you meant you got me some work in a warehouse for the night or something! GT: Chill. (Turns the ignition off) All you'll have ta' do is watch the exits. I'll keep the engine running, Nate 'n Jake will do the wet work. Alan: (Begins trying to get out of the lowrider) No way, man. No f*ckin' way! My best friend is already in prison, I ain't goin' down that road! GT: (Grabs Alan by the pants, leaning back from the front seat) Now I know you' in a sticky situation here, but would you rather those boys from earlier pay you a visit? 'Cos the second time aroun', they ain't gonna go easy on you. Alan contemplates possible prison time or no use of his legs - permanently and stops struggling. Nate hands him a pistol. Nate: Just incase. (Winks at him and pats him on the shoulder) All four exit the lowrider and as they walk, Nate hands everyone a black mask. They walk around the corner from the local pizzashack and see a large, green neon sign, glowing bright on the sunny street, reading 'Empire: Seven Eleven'. Nate, infront of everyone, stops and ducks down at the large windows of the garage and slowly begins crouch-walking, with everyone following him, and Alan looking around nervously. GT: Aiight, sh*t's all good. I'ma go back, get the car all set up. Piec'a cake. (Rubs palms with Nate and begins heading in the other direction) Nate calmly nods to Alan to wait by the door, as Jake crawls past a nervous and shaking Alan, who waits at the back-door. Nate: (Quietly walks through the first door, and boots the second door open, waving his pistol in the air and shooting it around) Alright! Empty the till! Jake: (Runs in, seeing the cashier with his hands up and a pedestrian running for the exit) Hol' it, nigga! (Shoots the pedestrian in the leg) Booyah! The pedestrian screams and hits the floor as Nate walks over to the cashier and hits him in the side of the head with the base of his pistol and hands him a small bag. Nate: Fill it up! Come on, come on! Nate grins as the cashier fills the entire bag to the brim with the takings from the till; over a thousand bucks in there. Nate pats the cashier on the back and shoots him a smile, as the cashier drops to his knees, crying. Nate and Jake burst out the two doors they came in from and see Alan and smile, flashing him the takings as they all begin running. Alan: This is so f*cked. I think I'ma be sick. Jake: Be sick in yo' own time, we made a killin'! (Hops over the wall as Alan and Nate go around and run over to GT's lowrider and they all jump in) Gogogo! GT reverses and does a 180 and slams his foot down on the pedal. GT: How much we make? (Grabs the bag from Nate and starts flicking through as he drives) Gotta be over a kay in here! Nate: We did good. Hitting up Denny's next week. You in again? (Looks at Alan with a piercing gaze) Alan: (Shifts down in his seat, nervously) I don't... GT: (Tosses him a load of cash) You don't what? Want that!? Haha. Alan: (Hands it back to GT) Yeah, well, all of that's going to those thugs at the gym. GT: Yeah, so next week, ya' get a sh*t load'a cash for yo' self. (Sharply brakes at the entrance to the Grove as Jake hops out of the lowrider) I'll take this sh*t to the guys, see what they want for tha' damages to the gym. Alan: Alright, thanks man. (Gets out of the lowrider as GT reverses and drives away) Jake: (Puts his arm around his cousin as they walk into the house) Ya' see, we're makin' serious money now. You're a part'a this now; this is yo' home. Alan: I guess... May 31ST 1995: Los Santos, San Andreas [7.05am] Alan's abruptly woken up on a lazy saturday morning by harsh and violent thuds on Esta's front door. He scours the upper-floor of the house and soon realises nobody is in. He heads downstairs and opens the door up, only to be smashed point-blank in the face by a fist of one of the goons from the gym yesterday. Alan staggers back, feeling blood leaking down his tonsils and trips over. Man: Grab his f*ckin' ass. Get this cracka' up. The other man picks Alan up, and Alan almost helplessly is forced to comply. They take him outside, leaving the door wide open they toss him into a black Elegant and speed off. May 31ST 1995: Los Santos, San Andreas [2.18pm] Jake nervously paces back and forth inside of Nate's house, with Nate and GT both sitting on pins and needles in the chairs. He breaks the silence. Jake: Then he's been 'napped. S'all there is to it. C'mon, let's go. The three men approach to leave the front door. Jake opens the door, and there stands a bloodied and beaten Alan; blood pouring from the back of his head. He collapses onto Jake. Jake: (Catches Alan and GT helps him up) Whoa man, sh*t. What happened!? Alan: I don't... Alan passes out as Jake and GT put him on the chair. Nate opens all the windows and lets air rush to Alan's limp body. Alan regains conciousness briefly. Alan: GT...those guys...from the gym...attacked me... Alan passes out as Jake rushes to get an icepack. GT paces back and forth with his hands on his head and slams his fist into the already broken and battered drywall. GT: Those mother f*ckin' niggas. I paid 'em for the damages! This sh*t's un-real. (Grabs a pistol from the table and throws it to Nate) Nate, let's go handle this sh*t. Nate nods and cocks the pistol as GT grabs another pistol and they storm out the place. They hop inside of GT's lowrider, and GT quickly starts it up and begins driving away. Nate: You know where these guys roll at? GT: (Sharply handbrakes to the right) Yeah, these niggas are always at Roboi's, clowning around 'n sh*t. GT speeds through a red, causing a Sultan and a Moonbeam to collide head on. Nate looks back at the wreckage and laughs as GT keeps a stern face. After a good half an hour of straight-laced driving, silent the entire way, they arrive at Roboi's. GT sees the two guys from the gym and drives right into one, causing his body to shatter off the bonnet of the lowrider and slam into the wall of Roboi's, breaking his back and neck. The other guy begins to run, and Nate gets out of the lowrider and begins chasing him. Man: Ya' got the wrong guy, man! Nate takes a few wildfire shots and hits the guy in the back of the head. He collapses in the middle of the road, dead. Nate looks around and sees pedestrians everywhere. Nate: (Whispers) sh*t... Nate runs back over to GT's car and gets inside. Nate: We gotta go. We gotta go, now. GT's lowrider won't start. He and Nate both hear sirens in the close-captioned distance. Both of them look at each other before getting out of the car and making a break for it on foot; both being seen of first degree murder in broad daylight. Nate takes out his cellphone and dials Jake. Nate: (Running along with GT, breathing heavily) Jake...sh*t, listen; we've got cops coming from every which way and we're stuck. We're on foot, I mean. Look, sh*t, is Alan alright? Jake (OS): sh*t...yeah he's comin' aroun'. Stay roun' there, we'll get some boys togetha'. Hang tight. Duece. Nate hangs the phone up and him and GT climb up a row of garages and begin running. TonyZimmzy
Thanks for the Birthday well-wishing, fellas. It feels really nice that this story has been on the forums for a year and is still going - not quite as strong as it was when it started off, but I feel it'll become strong again now that I'm heavily back into it. It's a day late, but here's the next chapter - and it's a two parter, so hopefully I don't leave too much suspense at the end. --- --- --- Chapter 62: Still Searching (1)May 31st, 1995: Los Santos, San Andreas [2:57pm] The heat burns down on Nate and GT's foreheads as they run across melted tarmac garage roofs, hearing sirens from every direction below. GT rips his shirt off and begins breathing heavily as they both hop over a short-gap roof and run across it. GT drops down to his knees as sweat pours from his forehead and neck like a ringed sponge. Nate, being infront turns around to notice GT on his hands and knees. He stops and jogs back over to him. Nate: Big dog, come on, we gotta keep moving. We gotta wait for Jake to get out here and-- GT: (Pushes Nate aside and stands up) And what, nigga!? What's Jake gonna do!? We're goin' down! Nate: Hell nawh, we ain't doin' this sh*t now, homie! I ain't leaving you here to take the fall. Now come on, (Grabs him by the arm) we've gotta move. Nate and GT hear two squad cars screech to a halt below the garages, with the sirens beaming red and blue across the wooden fences on the other side of the street. Nate and GT both start running back and hear another set of tires screech. They look at each other before taking a running dive from the garages into a backyard, and continue moving. May 31st, 1995: Los Santos, San Andreas [3:17pm] Jake skids a bmx to a stop and flies over the handlebars and faceplants on the burning concrete below as Grove members come to an easy stop outside of Roboi's. Cop cars are heard everywhere as Jake stands back to his feet. Jake: Aiight, scour the mother f*cker. We gotta find 'em. Waste any bitch gettin' in yo' way. Jake cocks his 9mm and looks at the homies; Alan, being white, sticks out from all the dark-skinned Grove members. Jake nods his head to Alan and they both begin running towards a fence across from Roboi's and hop over it. Alan: (Jumps over another fence) You gonna phone him or what!? Jake: (Takes out his phone and hops a lower fence) Alright, chill, chill. They make it back onto a deserted road and run onto the train tracks. They pick up their pace and start heading towards the Santa Maria. Jake: Nate, where the f*ck you at!? We here and headin' towards Santa Maria. After a few seconds, Jake stops, causing Alan to stop. Jake: (Hangs the phone up) sh*t... they tryin' to make it to Red County on foot. Alan: Red County? Where the hell's that? Jake: C'mon, we've gotta find 'em. (Starts running in the opposite direction) May 31st, 1995: Los Santos, San Andreas [3:33pm] GT and Nate both sprint down an alley, as cop cars block the exit of the alley off. Both men jump over the bonnets of the squad cars before the cops can get out. They keep running as they hear the officers firing shots behind them. They both slow their pace down as they run into another alley. GT: We can't keep this sh*t up! If we gonna make it to Red County, we gonna need wheels, man. Nate: I know, I know. sh*t. My uncle's all we've got right now though, man. GT: C'mon, we've gotta lose these niggas. (Climbs up a steel fence and drops down the other side along with Nate) GT and Nate creep up behind a young mexican man exiting his apartment building and both throw him to the floor and stomp on his head, knocking him out before he had any idea what just happened. GT bends down and picks up the car keys from his hand and shakes them at Nate, who smiles. They run over to a dark green perennial and get inside, as cop cars explode around the corner, heading right for them. GT: (Starts it up and reverses through some bushes and speeds away) The f*ck we gonna do now!? GT slams the brakes on when he sees Alan and Jake run towards an alley. He quickly turns left into the alley and pulls up beside them and honks the horn. GT: (Rolls down the window and laughs) How nice of ya'll to come. Alan and Jake nervously look down the alley and see cop cars slowly coming in, trying not to scrape along the tight wooden fences. They get inside the perennial and Nate hands Alan a 9mm. Alan: Don't worry, I won't let you down. I promise. GT slams his foot back down on the gas pedal, as if he were trying to smash through the floor of the car and the perennial starts gaining speed. Both Alan and Jake lean out the perennial and begin firing at the cop cars in the distance as Nate and GT spot cop cars upahead. Nate: Guys, we need you up ahead! Jake, hold the back! (Leans out the window and fires at the two cops outside their patrol units as Alan does the same) Both the cops hit the ground as GT speeds out the alleyway and narrowly misses a SWAT van. Jake: We got SWAT on our asses now!? sh*t! I'm startin' to regret comin' to save yo asses. GT: (Slams the handbrake on and skids a corner into Rodeo) Nigga, I didn't ask you to come 'save us'. sh*t, we'd be aiight without yo ass. Nate: (Fires at the SWAT van) Both'uh you, shut it. It's hard enough already as it is! And Alan, why you not firing!? Jake looks at Alan beside him in the backseat; passed out with the 9mm on his lap. Jake: (Throws his hands up) Ah man, Alan's out! Nate: Throw some water on him then, man! (Pops the tire of the SWAT van and watches it swerve into a crowd of pedestrians) Jake: Nigga, you got water on you!? GT: Leave him. We're outta trouble anyway. The propellers on a LSPD chopper can be heard closing in - fast. GT looks at Nate who looks back. May 31st, 1995: Los Santos, San Andreas [3:56pm] Half a dozen LSPD cars and two choppers are following the perennial in which GT is driving. Jake and Nate are firing at each squad car, trying to hit either the driver or the tires. The car is on its last legs before running out of gas. GT: (Swerves around the corner of Roboi's food mart) Finally! (Sees the Grove members across the street) GT stops the perennial and the Grove members begin firing at the squad cars, as the choppers circle around them with searchlights all over the spot. GT lets the Grove members blindside the cops as he slowly parks the perennial in the alley of Roboi's and he, Nate and Jake get out, leaving Alan unconcious in the car. GT: (Fires at a few remaining cops and then turns his attention to the choppers) Can't stand these mother f*ckers. Nate: (Looks up at the second chopper) sh*t! That chopper's a news chopper, not cops! Jake: (Runs out into the street and starts firing up at it) Then we take these niggas out first! Half a dozen SWAT vans come from nowhere, ramming into some Grove boys and officers getting out from the back of the vans. Before they have any chance to do anything, one of the vans is blown sky high - sending seven SWAT officers to an early grave. Jake, Nate and GT all shield their eyes as another rocket propelled grenade is fired at the news chopper. The chopper explodes and bits begin raining to the floor below as everyone begins running from the area. GT catches a glimpse of some figures on the roof of Roboi's food mart as he stares up at them before getting back in the perennial. The largest figure drops the RPG launcher and begins climbing down from the roof, as the others follow him down. GT: (Walks over to the man as he lands on the cracked and torched concrete below) I thought you'd run off, Roman. The man hugs GT who accepts the gesture and hugs him back. Roman: I just needed to clear ma' head. (Steps back and looks at two dark-skinned teenagers; both looking similar to each other) Mark, Danny, this is an ol' friend. An ol' friend who still needs Roman to bail his ass outta a jam. (Laughs) Mark and Danny nod their heads at GT and they put their hands in the pockets of their dark green hooded sweatshirts. GT walks back over to the perennial as Roman, Mark and Danny follow. They all squeeze inside as Alan is jerked awake by Mark's elbow digging into his ribs. Alan: (Looks around) The hell happened!? GT: (Slams the door and reverses the car and speeds out of the alley) Doesn't matter. sh*t's over now. May 31st, 1995: Los Santos, San Andreas [6:08pm] GT sits on the couch of CJ's family home getting a lapdance from a random young black girl as Tupac plays lowly in the background from the boombox on the shelf. He has a joint in his mouth and a smile on his face, nodding his head back and forth as Roman sits beside him in the same manner. Roman takes the housekeys from his pocket and dumps them on the wooden table infront of him, as Jake and Alan come in from the kitchen, alongside two prostitutes. GT: (Slaps palms with Jake and Alan) I'm seriously diggin' my freedom right now, homies. I can't go back ta' jail again. Not now, not ever. Nate: (Walks down the stairs in a towel, drying his hair with another towel) Yeah. We really owe you, Roman. (Looks over at Mark and Danny) And you guys aswell. Good to see you back. Danny: Don't even sweat it. Mark: Yeah. Not like we gonna ask for a place to crash or anything, Nathan. Nate: ...sh*t, alright, I guess I owe you guys that much. This place was left in charge of Roman, (Looks down at him on the couch) but when he left a year ago, he left me and GT in charge of it. Now that he's back, I guess it's up to him if you stay here. Roman: (Stands up and puts his 9mm on the table) Of course they can stay here. Excuse us, youngsters. Big guys need to have a meetin'. They all take the hint and Alan and Jake lead Mark and Danny out of the house and close the front door behind them and go across the street and sit on the curb outside of Jake's house as Danny takes a cigarette out of a box of Lucky Strikes and lights it up. Jake: So how come if you menna' be from tha' Grove, we ain' ever seen you aroun' here before? Danny: (Takes a long, smooth drag and looks up at the sun) Cos, Jake, you were too young when we left. Jake: Too young!? Nigga you three years older than me! (Looks at Mark) What's your story, buzzcut? Mark: (Runs his hand over his head) I like ma' style. Anyway, if it's anything to ya', I don't remember you either, kid. (Looks at Alan who looks at the floor) Jake: Kid!? You what, a year or two ova' me. sh*t. That's my cuz, Alan. You two should hit it off pretty well, you'll be in tha' same classes 'n sh*t. Mark: (Scoffs) Classes!? f*ck goin' back ta' school. An awkward silence ensues between the four youngsters, as Nate and Roman toss a tennis ball back and forth between each other back in the house. Roman: (Throws the ball back hard towards Nate) Look, man; these kids needed some type of help. I couldn't just let 'em be. Nate: (Puts the ball on the table) What I don't like is that you didn't tell 'em to come back to the Grove. They went to be with you in Fierro instead. Roman: (Snaps and shoves his finger at Nate, looking him in the eyes) You let their parents die! Not me, not GT; that was on your head! GT: (Comes between the arguing pair) Settle down, Jesus. What's in the past is in the past. It's history. Let it die. What happened to Michael? Roman: Michael stayed in Fierro. He has a small time business down there. Cooks pizzas. (Laughs) Nate: (Stands up and takes GT's car keys) Whatever. I'm not stayin' here to play the blame game on who let 'em die. f*ck it. Nate walks out the house in a hurry and gets in GT's lowrider and drives away, as the four across the street watch him leave. Danny: Lover's tiff? (Blows a ring of smoke and flicks the cigarette butt on the road and stands up) Guess that means... (Watches nearly a dozen black cars coming towards Grove street at a hundred miles per. hour.) The f*ck's this?
