I've never seen so many people talking about it at once before

It was posted today. He leaked like 4 GTAO updates before they came out and probably works in Rockstar Edinburgh offices, so I would believe him more than Yan.

 

 

It's kinda funny how our only communication with Rockstar is done on 4chan

Terrible idea. Defeats the purpose of a high school based action game if you're playing as adults in college. Or even worse, a teacher. What would you really honestly expect to do if you play as a teacher? Fill out paper work and spy on underaged girls?

He doesn't even work at Rockstar anymore afaik. Besides, Yan's source is real and wouldn't make sh*t up. So no, this guy isn't more believable than Yan.

 

How do you know that he doesn't work at Rockstar anymore? And who's Yan source? Did he confirmed 4 dlcs before they came out too?

This is the guy who leaked and detailed GTA:O DLC in a way no one else has and whether or not he still works at Rockstar is meaningless in this context, as if Bully is indeed the next game after RDR2 then it's been in development for quite a while (Rockstar don't exactly spin these games out in 18-24 months), so there's a good chance he'd know. It's not like Yan hasn't got things wrong either, if the 4chan leaker's comments aren't proof that it's not in development it's at the very least enough of a counter to bring doubt to Yan's claims.

Wow, I've been listening to the Bully soundtrack lately, Its amazing, never knew it was that good. I've still got my xbox 360 version so I'm gonna pop it in my xbox one and give it a good play :)

 

Note: hope all these rumours are true and we get a another Bully game after RDR2

Wow, I've been listening to the Bully soundtrack lately, Its amazing, never knew it was that good.

Even more amazing is that an entire new score for Bully II was completed back in 2009 and hasn't been used since, it's just there in Rockstar's vaults, chances are that IF Bully II is back in production they might not even use it too!

 

Want to know something else cool music wise? There exists demo tracks for a score by Josh Homme for an unreleased game by Rockstar Vancouver in 2005/6 that also exists in the vaults that I seriously wish someone would leak.

"Alain and I are writing the music for a Rockstar game called 'Spec Ops,' " Homme said. "There's a bunch of versions of new songs. Some of them are mellow, some of them are rock and some of them are, like, hick-hop because we're a bunch of white guys."

For Homme, working with Rockstar on the game was a dream come true — kind of. While he doesn't actually play any video games, he did enjoy the process of writing tunes for the small screen.

You'd be surprised what gets canned or shelved development wise in the gaming industry. aGENT for example has been redone twice before being put back on the shelf.

Yes, I know ... but it breaks my heart, knowing that R*'s most original, atmospheric and fun game could not get a sequel in the future.

They have worked on it, they finished the score back in 2009!, they put it on the shelf in favor of Max Payne 3???, ... why is the only thing I can say?

Max Payne 3 was a great third person shooter and fun, but surely it isn't anywhere near a game as is Bully.

I won't give up hope on Bully II, and it feels like after R* has RDR2 out of their way later this year or if it's delayed at least by early next year should open up the right spot for Bully II - a late 2018 to mid-2019 release seems perfect. Strategically it wouldn't make much sense to release GTA VI straight after RDR2, their 2nd biggest franchise. So a 'smaller' game, Bully II, would make PERFECT sense and would please the masses for sure!

That type of game would not suit an online mode, It'll be better with a simple or no online mode I only hope they foucus on the story alone. Bully was never an online game in the first place. It seems that Rockstar considered a reboot of the GTA series

 

 

I was questioning that possibility as well, have they ever considered a reboot at a point? Are they still considering it?

They've rebooted twice already. 2D Era, 3D Era and HD Era.

 

HD Era still has loads of potential as there are many cities not done in it yet.

HD Era still has loads of potential as there are many cities not done in it yet.

I know I was going to mention that those are some what of a reboot but they still have connections to each other and the names haven't been affected.
