Think about it: Not everyone can afford to pay 400-600 bucks for a PS3/360. >_< But if I get a PS3, GTAIIII will be my first game. Edit: I also forgot. So it's probably free for PSP's... (Mine has a small crack, bout 3 cm in the middle of where you see "Loading" on LCS when on a black screen. May get that fixed) But what about a PS2?! > I just watched the introduction again and it makes me want to play SA SO GOD DAMN BAD! If your still under warranty, sony can "refurbish" for around $40 us, or "repair" for around $60. If its not under warranty, and you know a bit about technology, go to lik-sang.com and look for parts to repair it yourself. and why rockstar wont make all gta's on PC ? it make lots and lots of cash The gta titles on PC actually make up the least percent of money for R* compared to console versions. Most people prefer the ease of consoles, rather than having to upgrade their PCs all the time, and a lot of people would rather put the game in and play, and not have to worry about patches and installing and everything. The closest thing my dad's done to fixing a PS2 is fix something at Bridgestone, where he works. x_x XD So basically, I'm f*cked. 'Cuz we opened it up. And tried to fix it with this guide this guy had. I guess I'll wait untill he tries filing down that screw he was talking about. Untill then, I'm going to try and play GTAIII on PC. That's the only GTA I have on PC :[ I'mma go look for some mods to make it better. That's the whole reason I bought it. I'd buy SA 'cuz I really wanna try MTA but I only have 45$ and if I buy SA for PC then I wont be able to aford VCS </3 Edit: Dont blame the guide 'cuz my friend tried it and it worked perfectly. His PS2 and the g uy's PS2 are just older/different. Seems like companies are gettiing slower and slower about porting to PC. But at least you get mods and stuff when they do. I really don't think the Stories series will port. I think its a thin blessing that it comes out on PS2. Might though. Twenty years from now when PCs are implanted in our brains by our robot overlords. PS2s are jinxed. I don't know anyone still on their original. I took damn good care of mine and I'm on my second.
