There is no way of knowing or having an opinion at all until we have played the game. Though, myself, i have always found that each main character is each game has his own unique qualities compared to the others. As well as his pros and cons. Each with there own beliefs, story and differences. There is one thing they all have in common though, no matter what they are still great in there own unique way. I know people say he's the best character even i do, but he's just like the other characters they're all trying to take over the city. I'm not making a big deal about it, I just said I'd prefer playing with him. The game is set before Vice City, so, he hasn't conquered VC yet... I think Victor is cool, because it will actually give a reason to the hundreds of cops and FBI and Army your going to kill. I mean, he's a freakin MARINE. He's trained to kick @$$. I have no idea how the other gta characters became experts in combat and weaponery, but a marine, that's a different story. Lance, was certainly one of the most annoying characters ever in a game, and from him alone, in terms of the gta universe atleast, i couldn't give a f*ck less about the rest of his family; hate by association. Even CJ had an advantage here, we didn't know who the hell he was. Screw victor and the entire vance family. No "history" given to victor can make up for lance. Funny thing? the story, and character ideas have been going steadily downhill since gta3; gta3 guy was awesome, tommy was good, carl was sort of OK, Tony was not that interesting, and victor is just stupid. Really? I liked Lance, before he got all whiney towards the end. I don't like the idea that Victor dies, but it isn't that bad of a choice.
