MGM12188
In the "IMPOUND" script, in san andreas. Does the, "end_external_script" parts of it ever get activated? If so, how do you stop it? Thank You! Edited August 8, 2006 by MGM12188
MGM12188
Sorry if this is a mess, i'm doin' my best after all the confusion. But, now I notice that the 'end external script' sections can never be used... look at the variables: the ":090F" will NEVER be used, because it can NEVER be true. Also note this is the same script in SA "IMPND", only renamed. I'm just tryin' to understand how it is working???
Y_Less
You're correct that the end script code never seems to get called. To stop it you would need to edit the code itself. And please type properly, I ws tempted to bin this topic based on the stupid title alone.
Demarest
Any thread can self terminate with end_thread. In the future, please post your topic AHEAD of the code so we know why we're looking at the code
MGM12188
You're correct that the end script code never seems to get called. To stop it you would need to edit the code itself. And please type properly, I ws tempted to bin this topic based on the stupid title alone. I did not mean to type anything "stupid"... I was really far along into the [Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, Vr. 1.0] scripting format, ex. "$, #, @, and all that stuff". So, I hope that is an "appropriate" enough answer to you'r remark about my title. It wasn't pre meditated -- or anything, for that matter. As an explanation for my "stupid" typing, it was a "stupid" thing to do... Possibly, as a result of reading all the "stupid" San Andreas: Script's. Speaking of which only took me four to five hour's to find out what you just told me. Lol. Sorry for bein' an as*hole, thats kinda what you sounded like when writing your 'remark'. I really do appreciate you'r answer to my [wrongly written question: I admit it], I usually take more time before I throw some sh*t on here... Like now for an instance. So, for the both of you, thanks. It is extremely hard to understand these parts of the scripts that never get called on. Now I will be able to continue. Thanks; sorry, T.j.
