balmung03
the only thing we really learn in the game is that CJ did something that supposedly caused Bryan (his brother) to die. What he did and how he died are something the game never tells you, so it's up to speculation.

CarpetDweller
maybe we will find out in san andreas stories *wishes* I think this would be really cool if the SA stories was set around '87 and you saw the event that caused Brian's death and CJ to run off to LC. The time period would also make it easier to have cross over characters from the original VC. My only problem with that is - I view most of the GSF to be in their early to mid twenties (or even younger). CJ might even have been 16-17 at the time of Brian's death. Having SAS set around this time would tie-in nicely with the Boys N the Hood influence because of the first part of the film's '80's setting, but it might require R* to change their "No kids" policy. I'm not suggesting we play as the younger Grove street gang. I suppose the incident could all happen within cutscenes to avoid having normal child peds in the game. I think something similar occured in GTA:Advance with Asuka's niece, but I never played that. Maybe they could just set SAS later but have the event as a flashback, but it would be nice if this part of CJ's past was revealed. It would be even better if SAS's main character (or main enemy) was the actual cause behind Brian's death.
