jman12343
I read somewhere that there will be ragdoll physics in this game. Can someone tell me if this is true?
Jordan
No, there will not be ragdoll physics. GamePro Australia misquoted Rockstar.

Gantons Most Wanted
i think its like say when a ped gets shot with the shotgun there body gets alot of impact from the bullet n just flyes n then lands on the ground or somthin like that
Jamming
Ragdoll effects are relasisitc effects on the enemy after using guns. Example. If you shot some with a shotgun then they would fly back. And if you shoot someone in a chair with a pistol they'll just slump down in the chair. You get it?
Parky.
Now now ladies calm down. EDIT: just read this on GTAPSP.com "Ragdoll physics are in and are especially noticeable when the shotgun is used on an enemy." They got their info out of the GamePro mag aswell, so copied them word for word. We'll have to wait on R*'s word for it though, but I doubt they'll be in. Parky.1 f*cks off
Born Acorn
They have neither been confirmed nor unconfirmed. Since it's a new engine, I personally won't believe yay-sayers or nay-sayers until I get hard evidence.
OriginalGangster
my guess is that there will be ragdoll physics
ybakker
ragdoll would be most noticed on a bike. When you fell off a bike in VC in midair, tommy would face the ground or the sky, and remain in that exact position when falling. If vcs has ragdoll physics, vic would spin, flip, and tumble when falling. The limbs arent fixed. Miami Vice for psp had ragdoll physics.
Lucki
I Hope it does have them
GTA3Freak-2001
I wouldn't have thought the PSP could handle that ontop of the already demanding game. Also remember this happened with San Andreas and it didn't have Ragdolls so go figure. If anything I believe it will be the same system used in SA which was scripted animations that simulated ragdolls.
Rashon.
I was suprised when you shot someone with an M60 in LCS, there'd be ragdoll physics. Sometimes when you shoot them off the bike, they do flying and their body rolls on the ground if their head has been shot off...

Exactly, they do the same animation every time Ragdolls however would be if the body moved differently every time.
jman12343
Well, I really hope that ragdoll makes it.
topdogkiller
it would be great if they did. I would also feel that it would make he game better than san andreas.
Pat
They're introducing alot of new stuff, so we dont know what they're gonna have. No one say "They definately wont" No one say "They definately will" Just say probably. PS: I hope they have them. Maybe they should talk to Atari (Flatout ragdoll physics were off the HIZZY!) Uhh... Atari made Flatout, right? Edit: Also, whoever said "It'll probably be like San Andreas", THEY'RE NOT USING THE SAN ANDREAS GAME ENGINE. You could see that if you read the big yellow banner on the top of the page! Sheesh.
Natedogg.
no you f*ck off We don't take kindly of you people, get out you're bugging me when I'm trying to read.
DexX
No one say "They definately wont"No one say "They definately will" Just say probably. probably not. Not that i wouldnt love to see it in the game, i would, but it just seems to far out of the realm of probability, especially considering R*s track record here. Hey Nate, know whats more annoying than people telling others to f-off? reading posts, complaining about others telling people to f*ck off. just report the post, and dont comment. DEED
Edit: Also, whoever said "It'll probably be like San Andreas", THEY'RE NOT USING THE SAN ANDREAS GAME ENGINE.You could see that if you read the big yellow banner on the top of the page! Sheesh. GTA3Freak said: "I believe it will be the same system used in SA". He is in no way saying it will use the SA Engine, he is simply saying just like you said: "It'll probably be like San Andreas". Rockstar dont have to make VCS completely in every posible way different to SA they still copy some of thier ideas here and there. VCS has swimming and SA does too doesn't mean it's the same engine. GTA3Freak would obviously know, would could miss that banner at the top, and he's on these forums alot.
Pat
he is simply saying just like you said: "It'll probably be like San Andreas". I never said it'll probably be like in SA. PS: They're also bringing back the jetpack. Off topic though >.>

DEED
Sorry I ment that he (GTA3Freak) said just like what you (EmoPat) said he (GTA3Freak) said. - I was trying to aviod writng like that (I'll probally make more people confused). I was trying to show you that he never said "VCS uses the San Andreas engine". Also where did you hear about the jetpacks?
