ice tyrant Posted August 5, 2006 Share Posted August 5, 2006 well i installed 2 mods to give new skins to the m4 and desert eagle, at first, they didnt work, though one day i was playing and noticed they both changed. and now i recently installed alot of mods. im just curios if this is supposed to take like 3 days to work. Mercenary1st Posted August 5, 2006 Share Posted August 5, 2006 i have that problem off and on i had gone camping mod to open up the journey it worked at first after a day it went bad and crashed my SA happen to most car modles i install so now every couple days i check the cars i install to see if they work. Suction Testicle Man Posted August 5, 2006 Share Posted August 5, 2006 I also occasionally the same problem, but I believe it's due to the games having a quick-load function. As in if you've loaded the game once already and then quit, it will load the next instance from a cache - probably a feature in the OS rather than the game itself. Whatever the cause - you can be sure by restarting your computer after installation and rebuilding the img file. If at first you don't succeed, you fail, and the test will be terminated.
