Or will it already be unlocked, we already know what's there. My guess would be sharks stopping us crossing the waters, and they could still do it after we unlock downton/Docks etc. Your ideas? The waters of Vice City could have as many sharks in 84 as it had in 86. Or, as in Vice City, could be because of the hurricanes. If they closed the bridges, the wind must be very strong. AngelDude Posted August 4, 2006 Share Posted August 4, 2006 I doubt the shark one would work, you need to use jet-skis in a mission and I guess if you knock into something on a jetski you fall into the water. Also, cheating doesn't count as a way to get over to the island. You can cheat in LCS to get to an island that you want to. If you want to get the unlocked islands you usually can, R* really don't care if you get their early. But, by default it will be blocked by sometihing and the idea is that you can't go over there. sharks - i can get a huge knife and slice sharks head off , What if you can't? GTA_Loco Posted August 5, 2006 Share Posted August 5, 2006 Don't forget the usual barricades to the bridges probably because of the hurricane or some accidents of some sort that might block the links to the islands. I'm suspecting some walls on starfish island might be modified a little bit too so that you won't be able to climb into one using the ambulance trick. In LCS they did modify the unfinished bridge structure so that you won't be able to use that to cross over Staunton early on. There might be an applicable glitch or something though that one might be able to utilize to get to another island just like in LCS in getting over to SSV early on in Staunton. And just like what the others are thinking, the wanted level restriction might be applied considering that you can swim already. Plus the sharks would be some cool addition. That is a perfect explanation. Not only does it make sense, but the info we have suggests it (The new Hurricane weather). You know Vic has specific orders to stay in Fort Baxter and the surrounding area, mainly the Mainland. And if you leave the the cops immediately go after you.
