scabo19 Posted August 4, 2006 Share Posted August 4, 2006 I was away for a week and now my pc won't turn on.I keep pressing the power button but nothing.I unplugged the power cord and left it out for a while but still nothing.I'm pretty sure the pc has detected power because there is a light on inside once it is plugged in.I need help.My specs are in my sig if you need them. riccbhard Posted August 5, 2006 Share Posted August 5, 2006 Unplug the computer, and remove the battery on the motherboard for a few minutes, put it back in, plug in the computer, and then try. If this does not help then it's a problem either with the motherboard not sending the PS_ON signal to the power supply, or something is wrong with the power supply.
