It wouldnt come out, tried smashing it a billion ties that kinda worked then i sorta lifted up the M key and it poped off. now my Mm key is off and it wont go back on. what do i do?? In the future, do what i do, cover the front of the keyboard with selephane wrap and tape it to the back - I've spilled soda, juice, water, food, alcohol (rubbing) and a bunch of other things on it. gillies Posted August 6, 2006 Share Posted August 6, 2006 This reply was at the Dell forum, it doesn't seem to offer any real help but it might make it easier to do... Other replies in general seem to suggest the best solution is to call Dell to get a replacement keyboard. Reattaching keys is tricky. If you don't have a local shop that can help you, you might try popping the keyboard off and see if that helps with the task. The instructions are here.
