I realize you said "forget it", but you still should have thought about this before posting. We don't encourage blatant spam here. We had this thing called "The Pit™" once, and you could do damn near anything in there, if there was someone you didn't like, you could curse them out in there (without the use of racial and homophobic slurs, of course). Well, sh*t hit the fan and it started to spread to the other areas of the forum. Which is why you don't see it on the list to your left anymore. A spam forum would just encourage stupid people to post random, utterly useless sh*t. As if we don't have enough of that already... jarjar Posted August 4, 2006 Share Posted August 4, 2006 Do we really need a spam forums? I mean if you have something that is interesting and should be posted you could post it in General Off-topic. If it doesn't fit in there then it's obviously not needed. That's my view on the matter anyway. On another note though, it a spam forum was to be put into place, then it should be a non-post raising forum. I.e., you should not get your posts raised for posting in there. GTAForums will have a fresh new look to it before you know it, but in the mean time, we should make do with what we have. The "Oldies" forum sounds decent, and reminds me of suggestions I've heard in the past for the non-existant Premium Membership. Essentially the forum was off-limits to anyone who wasn't a premium member, had higher quality threads, and more lax rules in comparison to the rest of the boards.
