thatsoccerguy
"Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger signed legislation on Friday to outlaw the sale to teenagers of electronic games featuring reckless mayhem and explicit sexuality." "The bill bans the sale or rental to those under 18 of any video games that "depict serious injury to human beings in a manner that is especially heinous, atrocious or cruel."" "Violations carry a fine of up to $1,000." "The bill passed with wide bipartisan majorities and was endorsed by a broad range of family and medical associations, the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People and the California Parent-Teacher Association." Rashon.
not in texas You live in Texas? Well, too bad California GTA Fans Under 18 can't buy any GTA Games. They'll have to move out of the state. I'm glad they don't to it anywhere else for now. If that law was for my state, I'd be crushed. ... But, it's not.
the ninja
They already do that in most states. Kids can still get it, but they have to have an adult with them.

*MURDOC*
That's what I was thinking but if the parents get busted! then they get fined $1k. Not really. This is only for the sale of the game, not whos playing it. A parent buying for their child would be perfectly legal. Its only if the person under 18 buys the game themselves. the ninja
Wait. Are you saying kids aren't allowed to have it at all? Even if the parents buy it for them? If so, sucks for them. EDIT: Nevermind. Just saw MURDOC's post.

NIKIN
here in the UK, I either get it from amazon, or when I go into game, I just give the money to my mum or dad, and go up to the counter with them and, if there is anything else I want I ask the assisstant. Since technically my parents pay, they can't stop me having the game
