Jellybeans27 Posted August 3, 2006 Share Posted August 3, 2006 Hi I'm trying to do some vehicle mods for SA and on the readme's it says to replace so and so file with so and so file in the gta.img file but how do I open and edit an .IMG file? notepad or wordpat wont work, thanks if you can help. balmung03 Posted August 4, 2006 Share Posted August 4, 2006 look in any GTA SA modding site for a tool called IMGTool 2.0 (or do a google search). that's the program that opens .img archives, and it's really simple to use. just make sure to back up whatever file you're altering, just in case it doesn't work right.
