gtafreak1990 Posted August 3, 2006 Share Posted August 3, 2006 So the cars act fine, but when i add my first mod or texture into vice city every car drives wierd. When you excelerate the back scrapes against the ground and keeps doing it and it looks stupid. I have tried re-installing the game and its fine but I add a mod or texture it does it again. Justin Posted August 3, 2006 Share Posted August 3, 2006 Slow down. You waited 21 minutes before double-posting. Try a day or so before bumping your topic. It'd also help if you posted this in the correct forum. The problem isn't Vice City, it's the mods (funily enough). Therefore re-installing wouldn't do anything. Ensure you're installing the mods correctly, and test out a few mods to ascertain it's not just a single faulty mod screwing you over. Moved from VC Troubleshooting to Editing Troubleshooting. Its like the mod works fine but all the other cars in the game act wierd for some reason, so ill explain it specificaly: When you get in a car and accelerate, the back wheels and suspension makes the back of the car bounce up and down, while the wheels are still on the road. From your description it sounds like the handling.cfg file could be getting messed up. You could test this by saving an original handling.cfg file, then when the problem appears, use your saved file to see if it fixes it. If it does fix it, then I have made a lucky guess!
