x2ski
Hi, I've had GTA:SA for PC forever now and preactically completed it, but have more fun just running around doing random stuff. I just bought it for my 360 so I can play on my projector screen, but I don't want to go through all the missions again to be able to free-roam the map. I understand there's a way to unlock areas by using the "no wanted level" cheat and saving at a safe house in a locked location, but I also understand that I then have to have the cheat enable every time I go into a locked territory. Is there any other way to unlock the whole map without completing missions or using the "no wanted level" cheat? Like I said, I just want to roam around and do random stuff wherever I feel like it (base-jumping off of various landmarks has always been my favorite lol)
the King of San Andreas
yes, there's a way you can reveal the whole map,but as long as people hate me and don't believe me,I can't tell you how,and there's also a way to access SF and LV (even A 69) without wanted levels, but you will have to tell me you'll believe me,then I'll tell you. pdescobar
There's no reasonable way to do what you want simply through the standard "button cheats." While you can freeze your wanted level to go to other islands, that doesn't make the save houses purchasable or unlock shops earlier. The latter can be done via the exploit where you spawn a jetpack during the opening sequence, but it's still not quite the same. And you are right that you have to re-freeze the wanted level every time you play. There might be something you can do via a cheat device and/or a way to download saves for the 360, but my advice is just suck it up and run through the storyline enough to get yourself a save where everything is legitimately open. If you're experienced with the game, it may be tedious but it shouldn't be terribly difficult, especially since you can be pretty liberal with cheat use if you want. On topic......The answer...no. ^ Anywho, why don't you just complete the game until you get a city unlocked, press the no wanted level cheat in, then the jetpack code and your on your way. Just type the same 2 button codes every time you turn on the game, and you won't have to worry about completeing any missions.
the King of San Andreas
Video Game Cheats,Reviews,FAQs and more-Game FAQsactually,to reveal the map, just get a plane or heli copter and fly to the east or western edges of the map for about 5 minutes or so,and to go to SF and LV,just do it during the mission Reuniting the Families, don't go into the motel just go to SF and LV or whereever you want and that is not something I found myself. pdescobar
Video Game Cheats,Reviews,FAQs and more-Game FAQsactually,to reveal the map, just get a plane or heli copter and fly to the east or western edges of the map for about 5 minutes or so All that does is remove the "fog" from the in-game radar map; it does not unlock those areas for free roam like the original poster wishes. ,and to go to SF and LV,just do it during the mission Reuniting the Families, don't go into the motel just go to SF and LV or whereever you want and that is not something I found myself. Exploiting Reuniting the Families (or using any of the other No Wanted Level mission exploits) is similar to having to use the freeze wanted cheat in that it has to be invoked every time you play. It also prevents you from playing certain things like the Chilliad Challenge since you are always on a mission.
