have you heard of any of these bands

i found a record label called liquor and poker music. i ended up listening to a lot of the bands off the label and i think they're all pretty good.

 

some names include:

 

fireball ministry

dirty americans

the thieves

american heartbreak

backyard babies

the hellacopters

 

and the list goes on for others i can't remember. you can probably check the labels site for a complete list.

 

anyway, i was interested to see if anybody else likes any of these bands and how you found out about them to begin with.

I've only heard of the Hellacopters and it was from a music video I saw on this one local TV channel that plays everything. Don't remember the song name but they sounded like a third rate garage rock band to me and I'm pretty sure listening to them made me want to rock out to Raw Power instead.

I'v heard Fireball Ministry on the stoner rock hour on Hard Attack I think.

 

They were alright.
