ybakker
GTA Vice City: (Audio) Cassette tape GTA San Andreas: 3.5" Floppy disk GTA Liberty City Stories: Compact disc GTA Vice City Stories: ?? I think it might be the larger 5 1/4" floppy disk. It's strange that San Andreas, in 1992, uses a 3 1/2" floppy first made around 1984. Also, the CD was actually mass produced, in the US, around 1983.

flore
the save icon should be a computers data storage, not an audio storage the casette tape was used with computers to save data (not only audio) and a Record or an 8-Track is only an audio storage correct me if I'm wrong

CaliMex
If the save icon has to be a medium used for storing data from a computer then it might a punch card. That is so early 20th century. Maybe a hard disk drive would be used. That replaced the punch card. I don't know if they will use the floppy disk again even if it's a different size. If they do, they might got with the 5 and a quarter or 8 inch disk. Hey, even a laserdisc may be used. It would be like 3 times bigger than the cd icon in LCS. It might even be displayed as your table and you need to jump on it. I don't think it was ever used as a computer storage medium however. jarjar
I'm thinking maybe they would use something like a UMD, a small flash card like the one stuff saves onto on your PSP, maybe a PSP itself, or like said, a record would be cool. .
