Cant Catch Loc Wtf

i always blow up my boat thinging in the mission cut trout buisness and get out and walk to the peir where og is just sitting in his boat not moving.. why is thhis and are there any good tips for cathcing himm the dam boat is so hard to control

You might just need a little practice using the hovercraft, it isn't too hard to control when you have a handle on it. There are two tests in the boating school that might help you get some practice.

 

For tips with "Cut Throat Business" I'm not sure, a lot of people seem to have trouble with this one but usually it is because OG Loc gets away from them as soon as the mission starts and they fail it right then, further into the mission OG Loc is pretty much pegged to always drive faster than you so actually catching him isn't necessary, and he probably slows down a bit if you are lagging a little, but if you avoid major collisions with the scenery and don't fall too far behind you should be able to carry on to the next part of the mission.

You don't have to follow him directly through all the obstacles (ie. the jump by the lighthouse, the pier, on the beach, etc.) You can just follow him along the beach, staying in the water, and then turn and go around the last pier and meet him up there.

 

As for steering the hovercraft, just use little adjustments of the joystick, and release the gas a little for control when you have to.

Yeah, sadly you can't kill him right away and I won't tell what happens either............lol....depending on your personallity you will be either very glad or disappointed.

I am trying to be a no spoiler myself ......I have wanted to kill that fluezey poser from the biginning.......lol........but in the end it is better that way for the sake of learning his place.. don't ya think?.........of course maybe Mad Dogs girls could deal with the light work....but I'm trying not to spoil it....OK?........whoops my mistake KoSA wasn't talking directly to me.....sorry.

You don't have to catch him, it's just a chase.

What I did was to watch a video of the chase several times until I was familiar with the route. Then I could concentrate on driving the vehicles that you have to use in this mission.

Just a side-note:

 

You can catch up to and pass OG Loc. But there's nothing you can do but drive ahead of him.

 

I don't know about during the hovercraft part since I stay in the water until past the pier, but I've passed him in the go kart before. He's slow as heck in that thing.

 

And yeah, knowing the route helps a lot.

 

I didn't try shooting at him sideways, because that would be harder than just staying with him. But maybe it does something.

i had troubles catching that son of a Bit**.

all you have to do is turn your in-game Graphic Settings to LOW , & get some training/practice on the Hovercraft.

 

Quick tips on handling the Hovercraft==

If using keyboard-- TAP the direction keys for changing direction. & when you jump off the RAMP, hold "camera up" key.

 

If using Gamepad--

nothing special, its DAMN easy to control the hovercraft, when compared to keyboard.

Just concentrate on the way dont shoot OG Loc it distrupts ur view if he die mission failed thats disappointing when the Kart Part its also pain in the ass try handbrake turns

Thanks. Really, you can just treat it like one of the races if you know the route. Don't hit anything (especially in a go-kart), keep your speed up on the hills, and take the corners sharper than he does, etc. You don't need to follow him directly, because he sometimes zigzags through stuff that you don't need to go through, etc.

 

I do play the races a lot, but the world record for go-go karting is 1:44, whereas my best time is only 1:57, I think. So I'm not that great of a car or go-kart driver. (I do have the records for Backroad Wanderer, Little Loop, and Dirtbike Danger though. I'm more of a bike driver. )
