Here are some closeups of Victor Vance: I included Umberto because he seems to be in VCS too. Closeup: He doesn't look fat at all to me me, just has a bit of chin fat but that's it. I still have to wonder why diaz calls lance "Quinton" but htis guy hopefully lives the gunfight to see lance bail out on him and lives to kill tommy ..i hated tomy fricken slow speaking one liner! Quenten was a fake name Lance made up to get closer to Diaz. Lance won't bail him out because Tommy kills him in VC. That's assuming he survived and went to jail. Tommy was cool. He's also very hot-headed and somewhat impatient, so he probably assumes he's dead and never returns to the scene of the crime. I've been playing Vice City recently, looking for clues that perhaps Victor didn't die. None so far, and I doubt there's any, but it doesn't hurt to try. It's weird that a character as seemingly insignificant as Victor who you initially just dismiss as some extra in a cutscene reappears in a game as the main character. Oh, and does anyone know whether all these mistakes in the GTA storyline have anything to do with the game being made by R* Leeds rather than R* North? This is the second time we have played as a black/afro-american character. The storyline inconsistencies are bothering me too... but some of it might fall to "point of view". Lance certainly knew his way around town when you first met him... so the whole "two hombres in a strange town" thing could have just been an introductory thing... they might leave at the end of the game too and come back shortly before the beginning of VC. Otherwise the only conflicting information, comes from the website for Vice City... and thats not the game... dang it I hate defending something I once ruled as impossible... No matter what you say, I think all of the mains have been pretty decent. I haven't disliked playing as any of them, and I'm sure this will remain the same in VCS... once its ported. I'm not black, but I grew up in the poor and I can tell you it is real. It is actually more real than the Mobster and drug lord scenes in previous GTA games. There are gangsters in every urban city in America. It doesn't take much to be a gangster too. I don't think you could say the same about Italian mobsters and Cuban drug lords. Of Course he died, same with Tommy's two fellas who were present in the deal with him, If you watch closely when Diaz's men bust the deal, Look to the right side of Vic as he is shot down and see ah small mist of blood go by him and disapear as he hits the ground.
