I'd like to see it be titled GTA:Viva Las Venturas with Paulie Sindacco. His face cracks me up all the time when i see it.

GTA Advance was relased at the same time as GTA SA so maybe GTA SAS will be realsed at the same time as GTA IV

They'll be no San Andreas stories unless a umd that has a capacity of at least a single layered dvd (4.7gb) is made.

1 UMD holds 1.71 GB of DATA San Andreas is 4.12 gb 4 UMD'S

Actually its more like 2 and a half UMDs. 1.7 doesnt go into 4.1 over FOUR times sigh.gif

Grand Theft Auto IV will signal a new era of gta. Rockstar won't go back to the old era just to release a game on psp that is already available on xbox,ps2 and pc.

Just like how SA was a completely new and revamped engine from VC and GTA3? Oh wait... in the following years R* released LCS and VCS based on the old engine. sarcasm.gif

I doubt that there will be a San Andreas Stories released at the same time as GTA IV; as for in the future, who knows. If it were to be released at the same time as GTA IV, we would at least know about some of it now.

Someone from Rockstar said they could make San Andreas Stories and fit it on 1 umd but said they hadn't decided if they wanted to make it. I think the guys name was Gordon Hall

Algonquin Assassin

I would love a SAS, so it could tie up the GTA III canon.

Unfortunately I don't think it will happen though.

If it were to happen, I would like it set in 1988, and maybe not focussing so much on street gangs, and LS.

I don't know if anyone would like my protagonist suggestion, but what about Dwaine or Jethro? Maybe both? (Only you play as one, while the other is a NPC. Kinda like a Vic/Lance duo)

I'm not sure how they could fit into a possible storyline, but I thought it was different, than the Cesar/Sweet suggestions.

A mail i recived a few days after GTA IV was delayed by Roctstar.

Hey Andy,

Thanks for the email.  Unfortunately, since we haven't announced plans

for any possible sequel to San Andreas, I'm afraid I don't have an

answer for you.  Stay tuned to the Rockstar Games official website for

details on all of our upcoming game announcements.

Cheers,

Rockstar Games

I know it is old,(1.november) but still,i'm not too convinced now it will come to PSP.

Maybe on ps3/360 after GTA IV.

You know what.......

You should play as brian johnson even thogugh you don't see him...... You should start as him 6 years ago, a year before he dies. And see how it is then.

the people you emailed don't have the information you're looking for.

you emailed a company that represents R*, and not R8 or any of the developers themselves.

all emails are sent to a company that works for R* to handle certain things, specific game details or anything related to the games are not one of them.

you just got a generic reply that they probably give to all of the san andreas related inquiries.

they have these replies pre-made for most of the more popular inquiries they may recieve.

Video playback ftw!

Do you guys reckon they could do it? I mean I doubt the whole Map would fit onto the PSP, but they could bundle the game with a Memory Stick with the remaining data on it, that would be a pretty cool idea.

San Andreas Stories exists.

It's a fake. The person who made the vid even admits it to be a fake.

San-An would fit on a single UMB if they strip most of the audio files out. Audio is the biggest killer of space in games. Just take a look at GTA3, 75% of the memory used is for audio.

It would be cool to see SA Stories, but I'm not holding my breath.

Have you not noticed that the "person who made the vid" is me????? That's right. I made it. A while back. Thanks to the inspiration from the guys here at gtaforums.com. Ahh... the good ol' days...

It was kinda tricky extracting the HUD from VCS and sticking that onto a gameplay vid.

Great job on the vid. Very convincing at a glance.

True, I downloaded(don't report me for warez, I'm not telling where)GTA3 and installed. Works perfectly, but no radio and cutscene audio. Just 200-250MB ph34r.gif

I'd doubt it, Wouldn't it be way too big?

As I've already stated. It would fit with huge audio cuts, and texture re-sizing.smile.gif

How many times do I have to tell you guys that?

THERES NOT GONNA BE A GTA SAN ANDREAS STORIES. suicidal.gif

It's too big, too late and this money cow has been melked enough. The PSP is done for anyway, just something to play around with for rich kids and working young adults. DMA Design has better things to do than mess with this poorly controlled waste product. They're gonna set all their focus on GTA IV and it's PC version.

I beleive if I owned a company and knew I could fit an already succesful game onto the PSP I would. Even if it's the same story, I'd buy it - just to play it where ever I go. And if it does get released, it won't have the same story, as proved in LCS and VCS. Heck, even if you couldn't swim, it'd still be a kick ass game. And you can't just go around saying "it wont fit on a UMD" and "they have to have less audio files" people said that about the moon, (not it won't fit on a umd) and people still landed their, right?

So never say something is impossible. It will always be possible. Maybe having it cost a huge amount of money and coming with a 2gb SD card with all the audio on there, then you can really play around with the game.
