That shirt's green, Tommy's was blue-green with palm trees on it. Sure, there is a very slim chance that it's Vercetti, but to assume it and be so sure is f*cking stupid. After looking at it longer, the guy with the mustache bares a slight resemblance to Mr. V, but the fat guy on the boat looks exactly like Gonzales. I don't think it's Tommy on the boxart. @Multiformat Gamer: You're being an immature tw*t. You might think you are clever, but you aren't. R* already did LCS wich was before III, Why wouldn't they do VCS after? and if people argue that they already did a game in the early 90's, SA, then do the math, if they did VCS a couple of years after VC then there would be plenty of time between VCS an SA. the time line could be: LCS 3 years before III VCS 3 years after SAS current day. that would work, instead of just placing them all before. and I'm not saying tommy will be the main character, but why not work for him? and some people may argue that other people on the boxart are killed in VC, i.e. gonzalez, well whoi's to say that's even gonzalez? that could be any fat guy with a mustache. and that guy with binoculars could be anyone. Seriously, i cant stand the idead of a thread that bashes the coolest character in video game history. Tommy Vercetti plain and simply put...just oozes class and cool. He is the best character of the GTA series and was voiced by one of the greatest actor of all time: Ray Liotta. IMO Tommy wont be in GTA: VCS, but that doesnt give anyone the right to assassinate his character. Grow up. Look at me....im defending a videogame character with all my heart and soul... I only know that CJ was born in San Andreas and Claude Speed was from San Andreas, unless Claude Speed was from somewhere else. It is never pointed out where he was born, but he worked for the forellis in Liberty in his teens and was sent to jail when he was 20. Acrl was born in San Andreas. Again it is not pointed out where Claude was born, but he has no history on him at all. He just happened to be in San An in the early 90's but dosent mean he is from there. It is not even ever specified what his age is. For everone, That is mostlikely not tommy on the cover. Reasons? The appearance of Umberto semes to be a younger version of him with more hair. The two men on the boat are speculated to be Cortez and Gonzales.Bot t\of these would imply that the game is set before the events of VC. Younger version of Umberto, and Gonzales dies in VC. Then that might be tommy... older version.. it doesen't take long to grow a moustache.. maybe a year or two at most. If it's set before... In one of the missions for the printing press, tommy mentions his dad, who used to work there . . . If this is set in the 1960's when tommy is a boy.. Then could this be his dad perhaps? We are also forgetting that no main character has appeared on the boxart only minor and or unimportant people. well they both have those creases on their foreheads, and the crease under their chin. the receded hairline could of happened due to the troubles that would of followed after taking over VC, like stress and stuff. you can';t see from the picture of tommy, but he actually does have the crease in his face starting, and you can't really judge much off of the low-res VC textures. nobodys saying he's the main character, I highly doubt they will put him on as a main character again, but I do think it's possiblke that you will work for him. I don't really see how a good prequel could come from VC. Tommy would be in jail, there wouldn't be much to learn about diaz, or cortez. But if the made it after VC, you could learn what happens with tommy, why ken moves out to san andreas, and why kent leaves lovefist for maccer, you could see when donald love turned the way he was in LCS and III, instead of the shy quiet person he was in VC. the construction site could be finished, as apposed to a prequel, where it would still be nothing and what would R* do? have you blow something up again? You're right about the main character part but on the GTA: Vice City boxart, there was Diaz and Lance on it. Those two were major characters. Trailers and screenshots will soon appear so be patient and even after that theirs allways the leaked videos of the game which has happend with San Andreas.
