palaric8
If im not wrong, that is the Ocean Beach area in the background. One thing that has me bothered is that I dont remember seeing land in that part of town. Will actually add landmass in this game? The snap seems to be taken at Starfish Island and the island in the background could be the (Vice Port + Little Havana) area of the West Island. she got a bunch of dollars in her hand
Timpo
Yeah but the Infernus from Vice City had plain headlights while from the VCS boxart the Infernus now has pop-up lights. Comparing that to the real Infernus aka Lambo Countach the Vice City Infernus is older while the VCS Infernus is newer. I just can't see Vice City Stories set in the late 70's, early 80's maybe. Miami/Vice City had the best atmosphere in the 80's I think. sorry for the quote, it is a bit late. the Infernus/Lambo from the boxart doesn't have to be in the game. there was a car in the VC intro that definately looked lika a Lambo and not like an Infernus as well. I think they made more like an pre- or afterversion of the VC Infernus, with different details and such. and I don't mind if it's set in the 70's. it's a great atmosphere for a game. but it would be nice to see what happened After Vice City too. The Bone County Butcher
Lol thats Sonny.... Know hes right and you are wrong...Tommy Vercetti was on the cover of Vice City in the pinkish suit holding his glassess. God you guys, i cant wait to go back to Vice City. To me its going to be like taking a brilliant holiday to somewhere superb only with a hell of a lot of nostalgia thrown in to the mix. Does anyone else ever feel like that? You know? Mullen
Tommy Vercetti was on the cover of Vice City in the pinkish suit holding his glassess. Er, no. The man in the pink suit is Sonny Forelli. It has been discussed before.

MC.
Please do correct me if i'm wrong, but has the main character EVER been featured on the front cover of a gta box? You are corrct, they never did. The only time they even did art of a main character was with SA, they had one of carl. what? wtf! are you nuts? tommy appears on the box of vice city in the blue suit, holding he's glasses! I thought Tommy Vercetti was the guy driving the boat on the GTA: Vice City cover? Is CJ the guy with the AK47 on the GTA: San Andreas cover? I thought Toni Cipriani was the guy with the helmet driving the motorcycle?

This and This are apparently Carl Johnson You can clearly tell that is tony, just look at his face! the Infernus/Lambo from the boxart doesn't have to be in the game. there was a car in the VC intro that definately looked lika a Lambo and not like an Infernus as well. Wow those 2 pics of CJ look a lot different. Very confusing how the guy with the AK47 is not CJ. That second pic looks like Big Bear. Well I can't really see his face but thanks for confirming that Toni Cipriani is on the front cover of LCS and his casual clothes look the same too. So it looks like most GTA games (Not all) has the main character on the front cover.
Sinful
Cj is not on any artwork... The ones in artworks could be any Grove member... And Toni is not on the LCS box... You think that only because of the clothes? lol.
GTA3Freak-2001
No main character has ever appeared on any boxart or artwork in general, if you think otheriwise then you have problems. The two pics that were supposed to be CJ look nothing and I mean nothing like CJ. There's also the fact that ingame you could make CJ look slightly different with hair, weight, and clothes so it would be silly for Rockstar to even try and put CJ on any of the artwork when his looks can change. Asif
I thought Tommy Vercetti was the guy driving the boat on the GTA: Vice City cover? Yeah I have heard so, but if you have zoomed enough into it, the guy doesnt really have the same hairstyle as Tommy (though someone might say that happened due to wind blowing) and the color of the soiree isnt dark enough. Jay
Either it is a random or Sonny Forelli, I was always under the impression since I first saw that image that it was Sonny. It definitely isnt Tommy Vercetti, guaranteed.

Asif
One thing if you guys havent noticed yet, in GTA III, Toni made a call to Lazlow (on chatterbox) and he becomes the main guy in the prequel, GTA LCS. And in Vice City, Big Mitch Baker called him on V-Rock, could it be the clue that he will feature as a main guy in its prequel (most likely) VCS also? eyeswideshut
I hope it's the 90s again, San Andreas was cool in the 90s and I really wanna see VC in the nineties. I hope it's either 1983 cause then i'll be right about the 3 year thing with the Stories games and if not I hope it's like 1990-1991.

Just looking at the way they are dressed and the atmosphere the box art is potraying, you can tell its 80's. 90's wouldnt make any sense in Vice City. mark-2007
Vice City Stories The real Vice City Stories box art was revealed in a secret meeting with just me, I managed to snap a photo on the sly, click the above link for it. Ah yes, I think you'll be pleasantly surprised to see a whole new character in Vice City Stories, I can confirm through gaming previews that his name is Hypno Toad and he's a Hypnotic Toad riding a motorbike (as seen in the top right).
